The ringing sound of flesh on flesh rang in the room, an angry sound that silenced just about everything and Hector's head snapped sideways and held for a moment as Chibiusa slapped him with all the force she could muster. The dignified and sure princess that Serandite had known was replaced with the glowing red eyes and fury of a demoness as rage burned through Black Lady's body like a battle song. "You have no right. None. I did the stupidest thing that I could have ever done and trusted you and you did something to me! I woke up here and you are here! This is not home!" It was obvious, but remarkable was the fact that she spoke of Ray's apartment as home. She'd never done that before.

Her voice was high and almost a scream as she continued on with nary a second for a breath. "Now we are here, with no power and all I can think is that this is your fault! If you had not done what you did to me, none of this would have happened!" There was silence as she stared at him, slowed her breathing, and then drew up as tall and proud as she could before speaking with a low and deadly malevolence that only he could hear.

"And if you ever speak of my mother again, I will kill you where you stand, even if I die too. You do not deserve to even know her name." For Usagi, it was a bit much. But for a hurt and lost little girl in a big boy's world, it was all she could do was speak through her feelings. And right now, her feelings were all red and black, angry and jagged. She'd drive them into his heart, if only she could.

Peachy. Just peachy. Not only was she having to deal with a hysterical captain (though at this point she didn't know what to call Serandite), a Super Sailor Lyra who now knew her name and rank, but on top of that two of the individuals who had ended up in the cabin with her were on the verge of fighting like dogs. It was absolutely her idea of a good day. Lt. Ametrine clenched her hands into fists, eyes flashing with suppressed irritation. No, she was not going to point out how profoundly idiotic ruminating on the situation as it stood was. No, she was not going to berate two people that she didn't know, who she probably did not want to know.

No. Just no. The shrill tones and accusatory language were beginning to grate on her, however. They were all stuck in an incredibly difficult position, and from the sound of it, these two were ... somewhat at fault. Speaking up now would only bring them both down on her, and that was the last thing she wanted. So instead, she ignored them. ... Tried to ignore them, at any rate. It was remarkably difficult to ignore such a colorful exchange of words and blows. "Yes, Snow White was my guess. It seems as though they are primarily only settings rather than actual fairy tales. If they'd been the latter, events would tend to play out accordingly, wouldn't they?"

Food for thought, anyway. Ugh. She was never, and she meant never going to accept painkillers from her doctor again without having someone carefully research the potential side effects. If this all was some drug addled hallucination, she was going to be very teed off. Taking a deep breath, she slowly released it, utilizing a calming technique that she'd only learned to keep her temper in check. It was definitely a requirement now. She might fight well with anger behind her fist, but she didn't think as well when she was raging. This seemed like the kind of situation in which not being able to think would be a serious liability.

Serandite had leapt up from her bed as soon as the hostile prince headed directly for Usagi, sending an apologetic look towards Ametrine before leaving the lieutenant. Venomous words were thrown before Serandite reached the scene, like two snakes in one tank. Serandite cut in between the raging princess and prince, along with Marlo. Serandite was obviously batting for the princess while the other probably did so for the male. She wasn't about to talk to Hector-- someone she didn't even know. No.

Serandite knew that she was jumping in rashly. Very rashly.

"Okay, Usagi, he overdid it with the insult. You're angry but right now, both of you guys are blaming each other with different sides of the story. Different sides, you hear me?" Serandite struggled to stand face-to-face with Usagi, a difficult task considering their difference in height. Serandite wasn't even sure if she was allowed the right to butt into their fight-- perhaps her time with Usagi had allowed an inappropriate familiarity that Serandite was stepping over. She wasn't sure.

"You're blaming him-- he's blaming you. There's something wrong with the picture here." Serandite tried to inject her argument loudly, unsure of her words were having any effect on the seething princess. Who knew? It might have landed on deaf ears.

So close, yet so far. As the saying went, Hector was all up in that girl's grill. Oh no he didn't. What Marlo did was move in tandem with the girl in the kimono. Nothing good ever came from fighting. Rather then stepping between the two he chose to pull Hector away to the side. "Clam down Hector." His grip was firm on the other boy's arm. It was clear he wasn't about to let Hector go after the girl, (Usagi? Was that what she was called. he could hardly hear the colorful kimono girl's words). "I don't know your past and frankly, I don't care. But fighting isn't going to find you brother is it?" His words were hushed. Just above a whispering hiss. The arm he held was tightened in his grip. "Be pissed all you want, but don't start a pointless fight."

Marlo let Hector go. "At the very least Hector, if you're going to have a lover's spat, have it behind closed doors. Deal with it after we find your brother and get out of this hell hole." He sounded like a parent scolding his child. But Hector was acting a tad childish. Marlo had never liked kids. It evened out.

"Pointless?" Hector had let Marlo yank him back, but now he had rounded on the elder Xanis and tugged his arm away. For a moment he was up in Marlo's grill but seemed to realise it was unnecessary testosterone, as he pulled away from being eye-to-eye. Backed down. "You think I'm doing this for pointless?"

One arm spread out in a mock-grand gesture. Hector was an angry showboat. He wouldn't have backed down from a fight for anyone whose name didn't rhyme with malexandros -- not even Laocoon, not Aeneas. "Ladies and gentleman of the jury," he said, "I present to you Small Lady, murderer, traitor and accomplice to Wiseman, thief of the Marcasite Crystal as well as the Opal. I ain't doing this for pointless, Marlo -- without who we wouldn't be stuck here today. You've killed a lot of people for an itty bitty baby of fourteen, Chibiusa."

He was straightening his cravat, readjusting his gloves. For a moment he looked right at Serandite, but then his gaze went back to Black Lady. Now he left for the center table with the pitcher and one of the eight mugs, never taking the weight of his gaze off of the girl in question as he poured himself some water. "She'd snap your neck as soon as look at you, Marlo Xanis. If I left her alone with you for even a minute. Everyone in this room."

"If these people think we'll be satisfied with water," Aquarius mumbled, "they're sadly mistaken. Where is it?" She yawned, stretched, and rubbed her eyes, more from force of habit than a need to wake herself up. Despite the sudden and severe natures of her recent naps, she woke up feeling more alert than usual. Yet another sign that something abnormal was going on, in case she hadn't noticed the more obvious red sky and mysterious displacement.

She was still in sleep mode for most of the confrontation, not noticing anything out of the ordinary until the sound of a slap broke the momentary silence. Her eyes flew open and she looked around, trying to take in the scene quickly. On one side was a pair of pink-haired girls in frilly costumes, on the other, two boys, one nearly as fancy as the girls. There were a couple of girls watching, like her, and one person left asleep. Judging from the hair, it was probably Walküre.

She didn't have long to take in the scenery before the fancy guy started on a speech. At first Aquarius was considering tuning him out, but the information he had was compelling. The thief of the Opal Crystal? Aquarius tried to remember the last Zodiac meeting, her eyes narrowing. "So you were the one," she murmured. "Is this your doing, then? Are you the reason we've become narcoleptic somnambulists? Looking for more Great Crystals to steal? Or just out to drive us to insanity?"

If ever she needed tea, she needed it now. But there was no tea. Aquarius eyed the pitcher longingly, but decided to stay put rather than risk getting between the accuser and the accused. More information first. Then she could decide what to do and who to pound into oblivion.

Snapping necks was what came to her mind at the moment, and without even taking her eyes off of the rose-haired young woman, Black Lady tried to restrain herself and speak calmly. "Move, Serandite, I do not want to hurt you. Only him." Which at the moment was the truth. There were probably more important things to do, like figure out where they were, or how they were leaving. But the moment the princess had laid eyes on Hector, everything had flown out of her head but shaking and beating him until he paid for what he'd done. What he did to her she was not yet certain of, but there was absolutely no way that he was innocent!

Chin jerking, she snorted and waved a hand, ticking points off on her long fingers. "Murderer, yes. The Negaverse members here I am sure are very upset by this, they have never hurt anyone. I am sure you, pure Prince Hector, have never hurt a soul. Just tricked a poor lost princess who has lost her home into revealing her secrets! Thief is under debate. Your queen tried to steal my father, locked away my Helios, tried to kill my mother and myself. I simply made sure she could not do it again! I did not need to steal the Opal, I have my own. I simply wished to see my cousin, I cannot be blamed for what Wiseman has done." It was her story, and she was sticking to it. Anyone that could have proved her wrong was far away and it was all hearsay, in any case! Her tone was mocking and scathing and her command of the language aided by the rules of the dream world.

Hands hit on her hips then, and she tossed her head pridefully. "I do not have the power to send us where we are today. If I did, I would not be standing here, powerless and fighting with you, slave prince. Oh and by the way...you are wrong. I would not hurt this boy, I do not know him. He may help me escape this place you and that b*****d pretender Nehelenia have brought us to!" The unspoken tenet was that she would have killed all of them in a moment if Wiseman had simply asked her to. But trust a Black Moon prince to not understand such a concept as love. He'd said to her himself, and she was never going to forget it! "I am Princess Small Lady Serenity, daughter of Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion of Crystal Tokyo, known to this one," her eyes lit upon Lyra, "as Princess Serenity of the White Moon and Prince Endymion of Earth, and more royal than you can dream of being!" With a grand flourish, she gave a mocking little bow to the showy cavalier, face contorted into a sneer that would have made the haughtiest matron stand and applaud her.

Those that drank the water found it cool and refreshing. Those that did not were, understandably, far more preoccupied with the goings-on between the occupants of the room.

Something was odd about the door in the room, though, something not quite noticeable out of the corner of your eye -- but which became obvious once you actually looked at the door.

It was, well, it was a rather larger door than you usually found in a home.

What, really? Was Serandite the most boneheaded captain in the history of ever? Really? "... Captain Serandite, you do not want to be in the middle of that." Fabulous. Black Lady, ally to the Negaverse? It was rich to hear trash talking from her. But why that surprised her, she didn't know. This woman had been a senshi. Moreover, she was a royal. Royal in the way Queen Beryl was a royal. ... Sort of. But the White Moon was their enemy. Black Lady Serenity was a White Moon royal. It was no wonder she was so willing to sell them out at the drop of a hat.

Lieutenant Ametrine's eyes hardened as she watched the woman, and she got to her feet. Of all the stupid, foolish times to be having an argument. "Why don't we figure out where we are and who is holding us? I don't suppose that strikes any of you as important." Whatever. She looked around herself, searching for an out... or something, anything that did not involve interacting with that haughty, overbearing woman. They would all have to work together in the end, she figured, but that didn't mean she needed to focus on it now.

She blinked, examining the door from a distance. It was not like any door she might have expected to see in the house of a dwarf, or even seven dwarves. It was a big door. She would have anticipated a small door, if anything. So... did that mean they weren't in a Snow White-esque scenario? Hmmn. It was a real pity that she didn't know her fairy tales better. Assuming this matched any fairy tale, which admittedly it might not. How entirely frustrating. Then again, this whole thing was frustrating, with no sign of getting better.

Looking around the room revealed only things Ametrine had already noticed before: the table with the pitcher of water and cups, the seductively cozy beds, the paintings on the wall.

Well, perhaps that wasn't wholly accurate. Ametrine had certainly seen all of those things before that moment, but perhaps she hadn't quite noticed all of them.

"Look, i understand you all have your squabbles... some more than others." She nodded once towards Black lady and one at Hector; she placed the glass of water she was drinking down. "...But do you think killing each other here would do us any good? I mean hell i still have no flippin clue where we are! Let alone how the hell to get out of here- look at that enormous door how are we supposed to break THAT down. " To emphasize a point she spread her arms wide to indicate the room, and the door.

Lyra was naive, but she was listening to most of the conversation and well... shocked. The pink haired one they called 'small lady' was a killer? ...Well that shouldn't really shock her- a lot of people she knew could be considered killers if you thought about it. Senshi kill negaversers, negaversers kill senshi. Cavaliers kill too. "There is unfortunately a few stories that the number seven is significant to?" She looked back at the ones discussing this. "Theres the seven dwarfs, seven swan brothers, seven swabians, wolf and the seven goats, and even the seven ravens." Just to name a few she could think up off the top of her head.

Though this was cut short as she looked around, feeling eyes on the back of her head her own green colored ones settled on those of Black Lady's. "....."

"...."

She... was the daughter of the moon princess they have been looking for? Her, Black lady, whom has (apparently) killed and stolen? She was the spawn of the light that, before the nightmares started, warmed the minds and hearts of sleeping senshi all across Destiny City? Lyra was confused. Should she be... infatuated? Somewhere, deep down she knew that she was speaking the truth but...something seemed off about her. If she was a WHITE moon princess....why was she dressed in black?

Marlo agreed with Lyra. He agreed so much. "I said I'd help you kill one person Hector, that person being the who murdered, scalped, and pinned a little girl to a wall like it was a trophy." A seething sting of words, laced with loathing and disdain. The memory wouldn't fade anytime soon. But why did he persist to try and quell the fighting? Oh, right, he wanted to go home. "You." He addressed Small Lady, Usagi, Serenity, whatever her name was. "You lack power and want to leave this place." He then addressed Hector. "You want to find your brother and leave." Marlo's arms were cross. "The end goals are the same. We do not know how to escape, and we don't know exactly what we'll encounter. So it would be most beneficial if you both put aside your grievances until after we have escaped this...bizzaro land."

Leaving them to sort it out, Marlo noticed the door. A large door. "...Probably locked or laced with a trap. Next we'll hear the voice of the jigsaw killer I expect." His mumblings were under his breath. Pouring himself a cup of water, he didn't drink it. It remained in his hand, as if he would just drink it later. His mind went back to the door, it was the only visible exit. "Well, as much as I love petty bickering, the general consensus is to put aside old disputes and find a way out, now." He went to the door, drink in hand. "Shall we try to leave or shall we stay for a therapy session?"

This entire fight was frustrating Serandite. Obviously, they had their own battles to hash out. In the short time she had come to know Usagi, Serandite could admit that she felt a certain kinship with her. But as a sensible person to any other person, she felt the need to point out common sense in the situation.

"Prince-- No snide comments. You're just riling her up." Serandite was looking with a very annoyed glance at Hector, eyes turning to Ametrine, Aquarius, Lyra and Walkure. As each of them spoke, they spoke more and more sense. She hoped it wasn't landing on ignorant ears. "Listen to all of these guys. We're all stuck here, with virtually zero power and we want to get out. I don't expect all of us to play nice like carebears. When we get out of here, you can hit each other up with explosions. Heck, we'll all go back to hitting each other. But, For now, we're working on the door." Serandite struggled to direct both of the bickering royalty to the door, hoping to finally cease the cross fire.

The water in Serandite's cup was empty now. She didn't bother to go back for refills in the midst of the chaos. She leaned against the wall instead, propped up against one of the many paintings, sighing. She wanted to throw that painting out of frustration right now.

"Seven.. Well.. Does the number of beds really matter? Is that, in any way, going to help us open the door?"
PostPosted: Thu Jun 03, 2010 7:41 pm

Aquarius was not impressed by "Serenity's" theatrics, listening to her speech impassively. Once or twice, she snorted with disbelief. She was really claiming that she had no desire to steal the Opal Crystal? Then why, she wanted to ask, was it gone? The words nearly left her mouth, but she bit her tongue before she managed to speak. This was not a time for rash action, something in her said. This was a time for gathering information. Later, when she knew more about the situation, she could act.

Since others were busy trying to quell the fighting, Aquarius set about working on her own agenda. "Nobody agrees on who's right and who's wrong, and nobody's going to. So can we give up on the whos for now and proceed to the wheres and whys and hows? As in, where we are and why we're here and how we got here? Or if you insist on fighting, at least take it outside, so we can get something accomplished without worried about getting caught in the crossfire."

Which led to the question of the door. Aquarius eyed it for a moment, then shrugged. "How do we know it's locked? For all we know, we could walk out of here anytime." She got up, as if ready to prove her point- but instead walked to the center of the room and poured herself a cup of water. If she was going back into the wilderness, she wanted to be prepared.

It took Hector some silence to calm himself. In the end, he said, "Fine," and knocked back his water before approaching the door directly. It wasn't in his nature to try to figure out the cautious route. Instead he stopped in front of the door and looked up at it, thrown slightly by its unexpected largeness and bigness.

"I'm just going to get the hell out of here," he said. "Anyone with me?" And he knocked at the door.
