Mallow nodded. "Yes. They are rather nice. I made mine too. I hunted down things.. and used their bodies to create what I'm wearing. Well... ok. I"ll be fair enough to say that some of the materials were taken from bodies that were already dead when I found them. I'm not always that bloodthirsty.."
She gave a wink to Nia. "So what's a little fancy girl like yourself doing out here so late at night? mm?" She relaxed. She was starting to notice this tiger had an unusual feeling about her. Seemed a tad different than some other animals she knew. She couldn't put her finger on what it was.
Mallow kept staring at her and started to contemplate what to do with her. She had already decided not to attack her. She wasn't going to attempt to eat her or steal anything from her. Not this one anyways... She sprung some claws and lightly and gently traced it up and down the tiger's hind leg.

Niamh sighed, the morbid comments didn't even phase her, "I was trying to find a place to stay for the night. I don't do so well during night time. Usually I find somewhere or stay with a friend, but I was having so much fun I stayed out too late. Truthfully I have no home. Not my own." She nuzzled Mallow's shoulder without thinking about it.

Mallow felt slightly taken aback by the nuzzling. Still, she didn't want to be rude. For a tiger, this one seemed not quite as big as some. She was also seemed rather friendly even if she was just a tad naive. Mallow considered that she already had one henchman with wings, an angel. Still, if ms. rainbow stayed out late from time to time...
Mallow looked at her. "Well, you're welcome to call this home for a while if you want. Or, when you're passing through, you're welcome to stay here." The feeling of company was taking its effect on Mallow.
Mallow had hardly seen or had any meetings with her three lately. She had been a little bored and lonely. Of course, that was the reason behind the visit to marshmallow land the other day. Nia still reminded her of a rainbow'ish marshmallow. She noticed Nia seemed to like being close to her, so she scooted a little closer and draped her tail wide and flat over Nia's back, somewhat like a thin blanket.

Niamh cuddled closer to Mallow, "Thank you. I like it here. And you're very nice company."
She nuzzled her again, content. Nia really wanted to stay here, "Maybe you could show me your marshmallow village some time. I think that would be fun."

Mallow's eyes flashed with pleasure. Oh yes. Not that she needed a reason to go back and visit upon that unsuspecting town, but she didn't wanna return too soon. She had already just visited them. They'd be expecting company again soon. That would never do. Nothing better than an element of surprise.
She also started to notice there was just something about this Niamh that made Mallow want to like her and be nice to her. She wasn't sure why that was. It just wasn't like Mallow to instinctively feel that way towards anyone. She knew better enough to trust her gut instincts though. If there was a pull to stick by this well adorned tiger. So be it. Who knew what came of these sorts of things?
She digressed her thinking back to the present situation. She purred at Nia. "Sure.. we'll do that. When the time is right of course... Visits to Marshmallow Village need to be timed appropriately. Tomorrow night, I'll see if I can round up my gang around twilight. We can have a little pow wow. Would that suit ya?"

Niamh looked at Mallow as she got quiet. She noticed Mallow was very mysterious. It was exciting, not knowing what would happen next. Niamh put her head down and yawned, "Pow wow? That sounds nice. I'd like to meet your friends."

For some instinctive reason unknown to herself, Mallow reflexively ran her paw from Nia's head down her neck. She was petting her. Mallow caught herself in it. She inwardly felt greatly alarmed by this. Boy, she thought to herself. She surely must be just feeling tired from all her haunts throughout the day. Still, she was taking the watch tonight. To keep this new friend safe.
Deep down, Mallow knew that most of the local life knew of her and her little band of friends. Most of anyone never bothered them there. She knew a nightly watch really wasn't necessary. Still, she liked pretending to be tough. She had that image. She'd be damned and claw her own eyes out to look anything less in front of anyone, especially someone new.
She felt even slightly more alarmed. She was still doing it! She began to chide herself over why she was petting this girl. She wondered to herself if this tiger had some secret ability to bewitch her. Than, her fur went up a little. Aw hell naw... What kind of sadistic, torturous fox would Mallow be if she would allow herself to be so easily drawn into such a hex. Well, in any case, she was noticing the other falling asleep rather easily.
Then, Mallow looked around wondering if it would hurt anything for to rest her own eyes. You know.. just for a few minutes. Nothing could happen in a few minutes.. could it?

Niamh's eyes got heavier and she started to nod off. She rested her head by Mallow's paws and fell asleep. She purred lightly as she slept.
