Sa'chiel answered her in a distracted tone, grinning at the cub as he wiggled his paw just above her, to allow her to paw at him. He almost had the urge to go 'awww' at the cuteness of the cub, but decided that would likely make him look like an idiot.
"I'm from the Arba'Sehemu," he responded, still focused on the cub. "Water tribe, to be specific." He glanced at Yuki. "Why?"

Yukis jaw dropped. No .. could it. Was this one of her brothers? Yuki didnt know what tribe her mother was in but she knew the pride for sure.
"Is your mothers name Eun Mi." Her tone was flat and a little shaky.
Mei continued to play with the cheetahs paw. She had no idea what was going on.

Sa'chiel tweeked the cub's nose gently with his paw, tapping his claw against the cute nose in a playful gesture. He wished there were more cubs around the pride to interact with, it would be more amusing.
He glanced up in surprise, attention focused solely on Yuki as his paw dropped down. "How do you know my mother?" He asked, sounding confused. She did not look much like his mother, so he did not know to make the connection of relation. Sure, she was a little blue, but that wasn't a direct give-away.

The female sighed. So this was one of her brothers. Course Yuki really didnt take after either parent so it was not a surprise that Sa'chiel didn't make the connection.
"She's our mother too," She gestured to the black cub as well. Yuki felt her chest sink a little.
Mei had no idea what was going on. All she knew was she liked this new blue male. She giggled and watched him.

Sa'chiel blinked. And blinked again. It took him a moment or two to really comprehend what the female was saying.
"You two are my sisters?" He asked, sounding aghast. If possible, he would have turned green at the thought. Ugh. He had flirted with his sister. He hoped she didn't mention it! How embarrassing.
He tried to lighten the mood. "At least I know why this little girl is such a cutie," he joked, wiggling his paw at the cub, then glancing back at Yuki. "So, uhh, sis. What is your name? I'm Sa'chiel." He didn't think to question that she was his sister. She looked similiar enough. She was blue. He knew his father was a little promiscuous, and she knew his, or rather their, mother's name. It made sense.

Yuki laughed a bit at his reaction. She was inwardly feeling the the same as his 'You two are my sisters?' comment. It was strange but it wasn't so random since Yuki was hanging aaround the Arba boarders and just ran into her mother only a week back.
"Yuki Onna is my name and this here's Mei," She nuzzled the small cub.
Mei made a satisfied coo sound at the nuzzle. She was a happy little ball of black fluff and still didn't understand what was going on. For one she was starting to take to Yuki like her mother so the concept of brother and sister hadn't really dawned on her yet. Part of that being she was the only one in her litter.
"So Sa'chiel mm? Thats a nice name." Yuki wasn't so good at small talk but she tried.

Momentarily distracted by the adorable cub, Mei he now called her inwardly, he took a moment to muse how happy she seemed to be, but he supposed most cubs at that age were happy little things.
"Why is Mei with you and not with Mother?" He asked suddenly, the thought popping up in his mind. Mei was so young, shouldn't she be with a mother still?
He tilted his head to the side at her attempt at small talk, with a tiny smile. Right. Something they had in common then. Bad small-talk skills. "Means Water Angel," he said, crinkling his nose. So girly. "I like yours and Mei's names too."

Yuki knew that this question was going to come up. She knew it. Part of her resented having to answer to a cub who had lucked out and got to get raised by their mother. Small part of her.
It was strange though, he acted a bit more like Mauja in Yukis opinion and she doubted the two of them had ever interacted.
"I m not sure. Eun Mi, " She made a point not to call Eun Mi mom, " seemed a bit desperate to get rid of her for some reason. I took her off her paws and left... with out getting the full story." The condensed version made it sound a little worse then it really had been. Eun Mi had been crying and crushed by the time Yuki had left with her cub.
"Mei means dark and Yuki Onna means snow princess," She smiled. "Water angels a cool name."

Sa'chiel frowned lightly. That sounded worrying. Why had his mother let him go off on his own if she had been upset enough to give away one of her other babies? So odd. "I'll ask her when I return to the pride," he said firmly. He wondered what would have possessed her to give up a cub. There wasn't a mate in the picture then, he assumed, if she had been so eager to give Mei away.
He forced a small smile and nodded. "It suits both of you," he remarked, ruffling the top of Mei's head. "It's a very girly name," he remarked, his nose crinkling again and with a slight chuckle. "I am part of the Water Tribe, so it is appropriate." He glanced at her, curious. "Are you and Mei part of a pride or do you live with Father?" He didn't remember his father's name well enough to call him by it, instead of Father.

Yuki opened her maw to protest about confronting their mother but she closed it. Eun Mi deserved to explain it in her opinion. Yuki was not about to stand up for her right now. So she left it how it was and nodded.
"Thank you, you're name suits you too," She smiled. Water tribe? "Oh we live with father. Or lived. Im headed out on my own now that I'm old enough to make my own choices."

Sa'chiel looked surprised to hear that she was out on her own already. "So it is just you and Mei now? That's a lot of responsibility on someone so young," he remarked. She was around his own age, and he couldn't even think of living alone with a young cub to take care of. He was only an apprentice, he wasn't ready to take care of someone who would rely on him so thoroughly.

Yuki had to admit his reaction made her feel a little prideful. . . Alot prideful. But Yuki wasnt one to brag.
"Im sure living in a pride is much different then out in no mans land, " She tilted her head at him. Secretly she'd always wondered what it was like to live in a pride.

Sa'chiel nodded and shrugged his shoulders. "I figure it's easier in a pride. You don't have to worry about safety, since you have a lot of people around to help keep you safe. I can't imagine living as a rogue," he said, admiration in his gaze as he looked at his sisters.
They were very brave, in his eyes at least. He liked pride life. It was comforting and safe, but he may have been a tad cowardly. He didn't want to have to worry about his life always, which he assumed would happen permanently in the rogue lands.

Yuki gave him a smile, "Im sure if I can do it you can too mm?"
The sun was going down now and it was getting late. Yuki needed to get a move on and find a safe place to sleep for the night before it got to dark. She had Meis saftey now to worry about as well.
"It was nice meeting you Brother.. But.. I must be going now before we burn out all our day light, " She gave him another smile , "Maybe one day our paths will cross again. " With that she scooped up Mei into her maw and started off else where.
Mei yawned and drifted off to sleep.

Sa'chiel watched her go with a curious expression on his face. He knew his father had other cubs, but he had never expected to meet one so obviously related to him, from his mother. He shook his head and called out a goodbye to them, keeping his voice quiet so as not to wake the slumbering cub.
He watched to make sure they had started off safely and turned his back when he was having trouble seeing them, heading back towards his own pride. He would have to come out to the rogue lands more often, he thought to himself. To see Yuki and Mei again. Especially Mei. He hid a smile. Such a cute little cub.
