Nathan grinned. He loved when a plan came together, and he nodded at her orders, moving with her, pretending to be oh-so-worried face about the dogs getting away from them.
The police offers looked over when they heard the whistle.
So here they were, Nathan thought, with these cops and these dogs. Hopefully they would work as distractions, and the cops would let them go off, otherwise it would be difficult to get to have that swim. But then, if things didn't work out, Nathan would be able to improvise.
He was fairly talented with getting in and out of trouble, and this was a mixture of both.

It worked out, the police told them off for coming too close to the boundary etc etc... Louisa just smiled and said she was very sorry and would try to keep the dogs on leads next time. It was all rather boring and more boring but the police just believed they were from outside the area.
It meant they could walk off towards Louisa's spot easily enough with both dogs in tow.
"See told ya, it worked last time too, maybe that was why they went on even more. Maybe they recognised me or the dogs." Either way they were out.
"Anyway it's this way. There is a bit of a hill to climb but it will be worth it!" At least she hoped he liked the place as much as she did. She really did love the area and how no one ever seemed to go there.

Nate grinned and nodded, following her lead. It was going to be an interesting time, he imagined, but if she was at least willing to risk all this trouble for it, he had to assume she was more fun than he had first given her credit.
So he followed through with his agreement to accompany her, since there would be an element of danger and trouble constantly now because they had broken rules just to get through.
He didn't even care what they did at this point, finding a place to swim or just continuing to skulk about and sneak into places they weren't supposed to be.
Plus, he didn't get to be around dogs very often.
