'My lack of physical strength is a problem. Wonder if there's a move that enhances my physical power?' Mileena stepped over to a tree, amazed at what Nero had managed to do to the tree, but thinking of her own predicament at the moment. She eyed the tree and rested one hand on it, trying to make peace with it as a living creature that she was going to bring harm. She closed her eyes and breathed, opened them wide and brought a fist back only to send it forward again. It collided with the tree and everything froze as a spasming pulse rippled through Mileena's arm and through the rest of her body. She endured the pain with silence and flashed her hand in the air as she glared at the tree. Mileena walked away from the tree with audible stomps until she was back next to the lake and stooping down with her hand in the water. When the pain receded, Mileena turned back to the tree and stood, staying where she was and thinking of how she would go about it this time. She refused to waste any mental energy on a tree, and so she visualized herself wrapping a coat of psychic energy around her hand. She ran forward with little jogging speed, and this time when she reached the tree, her fist shattered the trunk greatly, and this time there was no pain. Mileena pulled her hand away and smiled, bowing to the tree and walking away.

Seeing Nero's imperfect Ice Prison Technique, Mileena thought of how she lacked a shield to defend herself with, and the Ice Prison would make up for that. Not being member of the Hyouton clan, it was impossible for her to learn this technique, and so she wondered what else could be done. She concentrated trying to see what else her strange abilities granted her. She thought of extending a barrier of sorts from her mind, and found that it was easier to infuse her chakra into the barrier to give it a more solid feel, though when she opened her eyes to see her prowess, there was nothing there. But she could feel the erected barrier, and knew that it was a success. Then her thoughts moved to the most obvious question, would the barrier be enough to protect her from a jutsu used against her? She looked to Nero while still holding the barrier around her. There would be no way for him to know that said barrier was there, so he may feel reluctant to turn his attack against her, but she needed it to be done.

Mileena had steeled herself in preparation of an offensive attack, but was caught completely unawares when he used the Ice Prison technique again. She had hoped he would have done something else, but it was already too late. She could feel herself being propelled into the air, about fifteen feet off the ground, but the only gleam of hope in that tight space was that she could still move. The barrier had worked, though its usual spherical shape had molded to her shape in a kind of wrap that shielded her from the effects of the prison. She could move around, albeit barely, the largest distance being three inches in any direction. She looked back down at Nero after hearing his little 'pep talk', though she was still utterly trapped. When he plopped down on the ground and started being lazy again, Mileena wanted to scream. Her thoughts calmed however, and she decided that this might be good training, and still being able to move, she might be able to break free. At that instant, she could feel the now feel the silver barrier, the color of her chakra, dwindling and fading. Mileena decided not to use any more chakra to maintain the barrier, and used her mind instead. Sheer willpower and mental strength kept the barrier glowing against the prison, but she realized that without her chakra, the amount of mental energy used was doubled, thus the strain of it being her first time using the technique was only slightly bearable. Now she thought of how to break free. She couldn't very well move her hands in a position to form handsigns, so that was completely out of the question. She wondered if her new found telekinetic powers could assist in her plight. Her mind went back to that incident with the tree that mocked her as she felt pain, and what she had managed to do to it. Her hands could move she realized, so why wouldn't she be able to do the same to the ice? She finally breathed, releasing the barrier around her as the shimmering silver glow vanished. She concentrated, forming a mental energy around her the full length of both hands, and the space which she had to move made things easier. She smacked her hands to the section of the ice that she could reach, and continued the motions until she could see cracks in the ice. She continued, pounding with her enhanced strength against the ice until finally, a small opening presented itself, Around the edges of the opening were riddled with cracks, and so she continued pounding against it until a a large enough hole opened up for her. She levitated herself out and flew above ground, lowering herself just over Nero until their faces were only a few inches apart. A smug smile crossed her face and she couldn't help but feel elated at what she had managed to do.

She could feel herself twisting in mid air as Nero gently shoved her to the side so he could get up and handle his anger alone. She didn't mean to upset him, but she couldn't very well succumb to his attack without any effort or hope of freeing herself. So she didn't feel bad about it. She landed lightly on her feet and walked over to him, and just as she was about to place a hand on is shoulder, he turned around to face her. Correction. He was looking up at the Ice Prison Mileena had been trapped in only moments ago. She watched him make his attempt to melt the ice without a word, watching him fail and resign himself to rest.

A wink was shot Nero's way as he perfected the Jutsu he was trying to learn. Mileena was happy for him, but when he turned back to her and announced that it was her turn, she simply shook her head slowly at him.

Mileena eyed him coolly, knowing what he would do next when he sat down next to her by the tree. It took much stamina and chakra for him to have performed all those new jutsu, whereas for her, it simply took the power of her mind, no handsigns or chakra required. Even then it didn't require too much concentration. The levitation had come naturally to her, and she found that she could do it as she pleased, though if she attempted to go higher than five meters, that was where the strain began. Having done the other telekinetic moves once, she felt that they would gradually become easier to use and maintain than they had been the first time. She leaned against the tree and looked up into the misty air, thinking about the events that had transpired between herself and Nero at the Restaurant earlier, and wondered where it would all lead. It was a fact that she felt at ease around him, and she has gained more of an open view to the world to say the least, but... Her thoughts quieted when she felt a head on her shoulder, and her head came around in half the time to see Nero's head resting calmly against her shoulder, already fast asleep. She remembered back at the Memorial when the graverobbers had appeared. He was already fast asleep when they came, even after only having gone to lie down seconds earlier. She thought about waking him with a scream again, but she decided to just leave him be, or so she did for the most part.

She could feel the calm emotions running through him, and thought to herself that she would touch his face, if only for a second. She coiled her fingers, all except her index, and brought it to his cheek. Her finger poked the flesh there several times, watching it cringe inwards until she could feel the outline of his teeth against the skin. Mileena noticed that his breathing was lost in the wind, and that she could only hear it to an extent. Poke. 'Is he always this comfortable around people?'. Poke. 'It must be good to not let the burdens of life slow you down'. Poke. 'Could that kiss have meant the same to him that it did me?' Poke. 'Does he think the same about me that I do him?' Poke. Mileena brought her hand around to his exposed ear and brushed it against it gently, a light touch that, had he been even a fraction awake, he would feel it. He most likely didn't. She gently, ever so gently, pulled on the soft lobe as she watched him sleep. Yes. Oddly enough she found herself watching him while he slept. She listened to the soft puffs and watched the steady undulating motions of his chest. Golden eyes watched for any form of reaction from him as she pulled again. Nothing.

Mileena still was not convinced. Her hand reached down to a more sensitive area, somewhere he most definitely could not ignore no matter how good an actor he was. She poked at that spot, his navel, knowing that that area is like a bane to those persons that are sensitive to the touch. Still no reaction from him. She poked several times more, expecting him to start laughing and telling her to stop, but he just lay there, lost in his own little world. Mileena scanned the area quickly, and a short distance off to her right she saw a twig, obviously broken from a main branch. She gestured toward it with her hand and the twig flew in her direction, where she then snatched it out of the air and held it firmly. She poked his navel with the stick, with more vigor than she had with her finger, and still no visible signs of reaction could be seen, nor could any mental signs be felt. Satisfied, Mileena threw the stick away and brought her hand down to intertwine with Nero's, leaning further against the tree in a more comfortable position and looking up into the misty air once again. 'I'll wait until he takes his nap, then we should really think about getting back before it gets any later. She wondered if the clone had managed to reach the Mizukage?

Mileena could only guess as to what the dream was. With a nod of her head, she indicated that she understood and stood to her feet. She stretched her body and relieved her tensed muscles, though her leg muscles screamed in protest at the way they were being forced into action after such a short reprieve. Mileena walked in the direction of the exit, motioning to Nero that it was high time they vacated the area.
