I think when they are somewhere they can be seen they seem super tacky.
I love to give and get though. <3
Most the time we actually don't mark each other, but the occasional hidden mark is nice, because only we know about it and when we go to shower we get a little reminder of the other person.

I don't mind giving or receiving. Like Mary mentioned, yeah, they kinda hurt me sometimes but a little pain with your pleasure is absolutely delicious. Wearing the evidence of it the next day is a little embarrassing, but not an issue. XD

I love giving them.
I love receiving them.
Sometimes it hurts, but not usually. But I don't really care. And we usually put them in places where they can't be seen but SOMEONE decided to put them in visible spots a few times. I just did it back. razz
Overall, idgaf what other people say about them when it's our business and we can do what we like to each other. :]

I don't like people seeing them on me when they're really dark,
