PoppyNorth324 As I have never truly had an experience, I want to. I was wondering where the most common places to find the fae are, seeing as I live in a very diverse area. By diverse, I mean we have suburbs, fields, forests, and even a nearby area that has streams, rivers, cliffs and a whole lot of sand. Any ideas where to find the Fae? I heard the best way to find the fae, is in a spot you would least likely find them. The fae choose when and where they are to be found. So it's helpful to keep a clear and open mind when looking for them. If you have a favorite spot, think back on why that is so...sometimes it has to do with the fae. They know you come back to that one spot for reason, and who knows they might even show up for you!

One of my fae friends had said she chose me because I reminded her of herself. kagome_roker Well the color green also depends on the faery. Some find it a compliment and others don't. Faeries are tempermental at the most and can be confusing when it comes to their emotions. I know I used to live them, but a faery can never lie. It against their morals too, but they know how to twist and bend the truth. Also if you make a promise with one, they are bound to keep that promise for an enternity. It was lucky for you to have met such nice faeries when you where younger. I am banished from ever hearing or seeing a faery. If you wonder why read my story on the First Experience tab. I was very lucky to have met some very friendly and nice fae, I've also met my fair share of not so friendly and nice ones. I've read your story, it is a very sad one. I'm sorry for your banishment.

Thanks to my friend Katie, who was a Faery, I was able to connect with my Faery history. I've always been close to nature. I can sometimes read the hearts of trees/plants. So, I too was a Faery. (YAY, I'M NOT INSANE!) thus, my connection with my Faery spirit, she's also my guardian. I love her. Which is why I have a sincere love for nature, animals, earth, however, she's an Earth Faery and that's self-explanatory. :]
Actually, its not just Faeries who have mixed emotions/personalities, but I've encountered other supernatural being who are different. Everyone is different. Makes the world go round?

I was just wondering if it would be okay to put out milk or just natural sugar like cane sugar out for them. We need to buy more of the natural honey because my mom uses it a lot of baking breads and such. But maybe they like bread perhaps? Like from scratch? Do they? By the way, a tip for you guys, when picking fruit, always leave a few on the tree/bush/plant, the Fae are pleased by this and will gladly enjoy the fruit...since it is rude to be picking the fruit in the first place. Also another question, when wearing clothes, would skirts and light cottony things be better to the Fae, since they love nature and are very in touch with it, would they be pleased for you too, to be in touch more? What do green, mossy green, eyes mean to them, yes random and silly question but still, what about gray eyes? Can they have freckling? Are they fond of freckled humans? ...Okay I'll stop to many questions, only so many things can be answered. sweatdrop

The love it when you leave them little crumbs of cake and bread. I would however advise you to leave them a little honey with the bread left out for them. Again the faeries may not eat the physical bread or honey, but they will eat the essence. Oh and if your lucky they might give you a gift in return! Green eye people remind them of the Old Country the Island Eire, also known as Ireland.People with Green Eyes are said to have the gift of "sight". People with more freckles are supposedly said to be kissed by the faeries on occassion. It doesn't necessarly mean they are found of freckled people. Gray eyes I am not sure about, but I do know that faeries as long as you respect them and are nice to them, they will always be friendly in return. But be warned, not all faeries are nice and some can be very dangerous. Just keep believing and no matter what color your eyes are they will appear for you!

May I share a story with you? 3nodding Oh I must! It's urging me on! My first experience~since the contest is closed I'll share it now! I'm such a dork dramallama
Well when I was about 8...I called upon a fairy with a riddle and did a ritual of making a circle of rose petals around me, said the chant, and ending up teary eyed (btw for reason when I think about the Fae I begin to feel sad and end up teary eyed..for no apparent reason). Late in the night, I was tucked in my sheets, I saw a shadow dance, a small shadow, the T.V. was on, but once I saw the shadow I knew it was a faerie. Despite doing the ritual, I was quite scared at first, so nervous, I dove under the covers, praying it not hurt me. Ah now as I'm looking in my book of Faeries, it states, and I remember now exactly what type of faerie it was, a Sylph. But I'm just guessing...I do remember that I saw a flash of purple tho.
That's my story~hoped you enjoyed reading it. By the way, besides going to go search this, but, do Foxes have any connection to Fae what-so-ever? Are there Fae with them as friends? Or are they enemy?

Anyways foxes are connected with faeries. The legend of the Japanese Kitsune fits into this perspective. The fae don't really have enemies with wildlife of any sort. The respect the life of animals and nature.
