User ImageSorano was busy listening, trying to absorb as much information as possible. If he were to open his mouth, there was likely a chance he would make a fool of himself. He was not going to risk it. Not at all. Horatio floated closer to Sorano's head, suddenly startled when the Blastoise and Beldum were released from there spheres and when Sorano turned his head to just take a glance. Again, the Shuppet's mind strayed to the thought of Never and suddenly, the Flareon emerged from its ball with a yawn.

Sorano felt a twinge of panic twist in him. Oh great . . . oh great, great, great. Never had not done this before and Sorano was only planning to use Horatio for this raid. Yet -- he had decided to take the Flareon's pokeball anyway since he was practically his strongest Pokemon so far.

"Neva-" Sorano muttered in a small voice. "Neva-!"

The Flareon turned his head and presented a sleepy gaze to Sorano. The teal haired grunt offered the Flareon's Pokeball to him, as if saying silently, "Get back in your ball if you know what is good for you-!"

The Flareon remained oblivious however; moving behind the grunt and curling around his leg. It was night time. At night time, people and Pokemon sleep. Never wanted to sleep. Never could only sleep when he was being hugged to death by his trainer. Sorano was not currently hugging him to death at the moment -- you, the reader, do see where this is leading right? Good. So, Never wanted to sleep but was unable . . . and Never likes to get what he wants . . . even if that means disobeying orders and embarrassing his trainer tenfold.

User ImageNyx nodded. "Four pokemon... rope... cheese army knife... bag... first aid kit. Yeah. Ready."

Unlike some of the other Rockets, Nyx kept her pokemon in their pokeballs. They were skilled at getting out, however, so she had stressed very hard how important it was that they NOT to pull a Houdini. She went over the mental checklist she'd prepared in her head. Beaker, Bunsen, Langley, Newton. Then their move-sets. Nothing impressive...
At least she had taken the same measures to cover up bright colors as her partner had.

Before she turned her attention back to TRP again, something in the back of her head told her to check the ceiling.

User ImageKeeping himself to the back of the group, he surveyed them, and didn't see Kofuku. That left a small frown on his face. It was nice being outside, even if they were on a mission.

Get in, grab pokemon, get out. It sounded simple enough. He was mildly annoyed at the questions. Didn't they know it was the elite's job to worry about that? He shuffled his backpack closer to himself, making sure it was tight. He had everything he needed, but he didn't like the shape of the ship. If it sank, he had an escape route. Quietly he counted heads, knowing some of the people there, but mostly not.

One more question crossed Hayes' mind, but it was of a more personal nature. He caught Nikki's eye and muttered, "Can you swim?" Despite the situation and his low tone, there was a bit of a grin.

Nikki glanced at her partner sharply, a bit taken back by the inquiry.

"What kind of question is that?!" she whispered back.

User Image Just as Clyde had addressed his shiny Absol, so too did Bonnie address her Mismagius. ”Be on guard. Your goal is to go down to the brig, secure a pokeball, and bring it back up to me.” Her words trailed off for a second in order to give the ghost type pokemon time to register what she was saying. Banshee only nodded, and thus her trainer continued, ”You won’t be able to hear any commands I might give, but that’s okay. Attack at your own discretion; you know what to do.” Banshee nodded one final time, and then turned to Cerberus. This raid was a fitting mission for the two of them. Bonnie and Clyde did steal them, together, after all, and this would be the prime opportunity for them to show what they were worth. The ghost pokemon had no intention of letting her trainer down. Keeping this in mind, the ghost pokemon then floated down, gave Cerberus a nudge, and then began to float toward the ship. Halfway to the door, she then disappeared from sight. The Absol would know how and where to follow her.

While her pokemon went off, the grunt lingered. She smiled at her partner’s words and then nodded. ”Indeed, we are. Give the pokemon time to sneak on the ship, and once they are on securely, we can make our way on.” This raid was going to be great. Sure, it was a dangerous mission, but that was half the fun. Not only that, but she’d be able to work with Clyde again, and the two of them always seemed to mesh well when they were together. They knew how to get things done, unlike some grunts.

User Image"If things go badly, get out. You can use the radios in your Pokedexes to communicate, but only do so in the event of an emergency. If everything goes south, we'll give the signal to leave. Rendezvous at warehouse 9 at the other end of the docks. It's behind a row of buildings that provide a lot of cover."

TRP paused a moment to let the group absorb this information.

"Seth will stay outside to provide a look out. Everyone else comes with me. Once inside we'll break into two smaller groups and make our way to the hold. I'll take one group. Nikki and Hayes will take the other. Understood?"

User ImageWhen the boss lady spoke, Never watched her with half lidded eyes and yawned again. Gotcha. Nine on the dot. Hopefully, Sorano will be smart enough to send Horatio out to find the warehouse the boss lady was talking about since the grunt can't map his way out of a paper bag. By doing so, he wouldn't get himself lost and the little piece of floating napkin could lead them back to their end destination if they ever get separated (which seemed very, very, very likely).

Sorano nodded, glancing down at Never who rolled over on his back. At that moment, he felt his insides knot and he keeled over a little. Gahhhh, pre-mission gripes really do suck.

User ImageNine, if things go bad. Other side of the docks. Got it. She nodded to indicate that she understood. Hopefully things wouldn't go bad. Please Arceus don't let things go bad. Apparently people got shot last time. Nyx was hoping to get out of this raid bullet-free.

Warehouse Nine, on the otherside of the docks.

Saluting at TRP to show she understood and was ready, Jen the reached out to give Nyx a squeeze on the shoulder. "Dont worry. If we keep an eye out and our ears open, we'll be fine. We just have to work together like partners do, right?"

She grinned and gave the scientist a thumbs up as Yamir's pokeball gave a light wiggle on her belt. He too, was ready to for some action.

User Image The orange-haired grunt paused when she heard the elite agent’s words. A variety of annoyed curses and phrases filled her head, but she didn’t speak these aloud. Curse their low ranking status! It would be so much easier to go about doing things if they were higher rank, but…oh, well. Their plans would have to be saved for another time. At the mention of them being splitting off into three groups, Bonnie couldn’t help but glance at Clyde. How would all of the grunts be divided? She’d still get to go with her partner, wouldn’t she?

Bonnie wasn’t the only one who had heard TRP’s words. Banshee had heard them as well, and even though she was making her way toward the ship, she abruptly halted. A minute or two passed before the Mismagius finally reappeared at her trainer’s side. With them all going in groups, it didn’t make sense for her to split with her trainer. Not when she could be at her side to help defend her.

Warehouse number 9. Seemed easy enough. The quicker they could get through this, the better.

Hayes gave her one of his amused smiles. "Just checking."

The blond snapped back to attention when TRP started talking, hodding slightly. He was silent for a moment as he went over a map of the docks in his mind. - Warehouse 9. Got it. - and checked his equipment. Apart from Pokedex and Pokemon, there wasn't much; they were there to pick things up, and it wouldn't do to be overburdened from the start.

..and they would be leading a group. What? The agent's brows briefly lifted at that news. Not quite what he'd been expecting to hear but.. well, there was their rank.

He let his gaze run over the assembled grunts, then looked back to TRP.

Hayes saluted briefly. "Ma'am." Understood.

Nikki just huffed a little at her partner's amusement.

However, when TRP announced that she and Hayes would be leading half of the group, she blinked. Just as surprised as her partner was. Yet, a small grin appeared on her face and she straightened to attention, nodding as well and echoing Hayes' words. "Ma'am!"

This was a great opportunity to prove herself, and Nikki was determined not to let down her superiors. However, she would have expected Seth to be leading the other half of the group, not them. It seemed he was assigned to look out duty, instead.

Seth just grunted a little, but was accepting of his role, since he knew what it would be already.

User ImageHe cast a glance over at the other end of the docks, burning it into his mind. wait, the elite was staying outside as a look out? How strange. He reached down and pulled his pokedex out of his pocket, looking at the communicate, how had he never noticed it before? Glancing it over, he slipped it back in his pocket. It would serve it's use later. He nodded at the elite and waited for them to go.

Zach nodded at this, and said "Yes ma'am." He then saluted. After this he released Ishiyu and Amaryllis from their balls, best to go through their instructions so they don't mess it up on site. Once they were out he told them, "Ok, I need you guys to be very quiet from here on out. I will need you to use Hypnosis and Sleep Powder on my signal. Do you guys understand?" They both nodded, seeming to understand. Zach was now ready to depart.
