If you play their name around you can see actually see them spell Kuro (Black) and Shiro (White)
Reshiram - remove shira from Reshiram and turn the a into an o and you'll get shiro. With those still still removed you'll get Rem.
Zekrom - remove kro from Zekrom and add an u between k and r and you'll get kuro. With those letters still removed you'll get Zem.

This is too confusing, which one is the light version and which one is the dark version? I mean if they have a dark pokemon in a light game, and a light pokemon in a dark game, then how can we really choose! I want to the one closest to the light.

Zekrom looks like it is some weird Armor Core. The pattern on Zekrom reminds Zetshimaru of Armor Core graphics.

Kain Crescent Dude. To be honest, I'm actually impressed with these two. They look pretty cool to me. I'd be getting the Black version, I've already made that decision, but I want both legendary Pokemon. Reshiram: Unless they decide to add a Light type to the type list, it looks like a Normal-Type or a Dragon-Type, if not both, which would be an odd combo. It could also be Psychic. I have no idea, other wise. Zekrom: This guy has to be a Dark-Type. It just looks it. If it isn't, then I want to know what the cuss it is. I'm having a hard time which of the two I like more. Reshiram looks legendary, for lack of a better word atm, and Zekrom just looks evil, at least for a Pokemon. I wonder what a battle betweem Zekrom and Mewtwo would be like. If the story is going to be a light vs darkness thing, it might just be an interesting story for me. I'm into the whole light vs darkness, which makes Kingdom Hearts one of my top fav game series. I imagine obtaining them is going to be like DP. You'll probably have to trade for the other. It is possible it could be like GS, get one sooner than the other. thats why you get both of them so you dont have to worry about that i have all the games so far of the ds and of course the gameboyadvance games that just mean i will have two more games to my group of games

Man, I really hope they make a light type, they really need something to be weak against Poison other than Grass... Idk why light would be though, maybe because heroes become poisoned & turn evil? Anyway, I'm gonna get white, because that dark-looking one looks like a beast! They'll have to make a Beast-mode type just for him... & Lapras, changing his ever so crippling secondary ice type... That just ruined a lot of his potential...

I agree. I was going to get black, but after seeing this, I am going with White. I don't care if it takes me a month, I am going to Softrest for an amazing Zekrom. I'm not sure how i feel about them just yet...
So far the only thing i'm excited about Black and white are the graphics.
They both have to be dragon types.

I don't want to spend more money than I need to since I have two friends who aim on getting this as well. They should still have the GTS in these versions, too. I don't see why they wouldn't.

Serebii The host of Pokémon Sunday, Nakagawa Shoko, blogged today about the character she is voicing in the thirteenth movie. With this, she mentioned about her love for Electric types and stated that due to this, she wants to get Zekrom. This statement was quickly removed from her blog but people managed to catch it in time. If this holds true then it will mean that Zekrom is of a Dragon and Electric type, a new and unique type combination. Remember though, this is NOT confirmed, albeit coming from a very likely source plus she could have removed it due to her being mistaken about Zekrom's type.
