shadow gallade 7676 people hate wubafet cuz hes awsome at counters....but there is ways to counter hes attacks its useing mind games...for instanse dragonite has great attack...used for fire punch ect.... use flame thrower and not fire punch and they cant counter it and give dragonite a focus band so next turn use fly((to dodge destiny bond))....and if you do get countered you will still live razz You do realize friend that you wouldn't be able to use mind games with your dragonite right against a wobbuffet right? For one, wobbuffet boast a very HP stat so it will be able to pretty much take atleast agood 3 or more hits to take it down. Second, this poke also has access to the move encore, which when used, will cause your poke to use the same move over and over making you easy to predict. Third, while your poke is stuck in a continuous loop using the same move, wobbuffet's ability spell tag, will prevent you from switching, which in turn will leave your pokemon helpless. Fourth. depending on what move your pokemon tryed to used before being encored, wobbuffet can either use the move counter (if the opponent used a physical attack), Mirror Coat (if the opponent used a special attack), or tickle (if the opponent used a status move) to prep your poke for a set up. The only way to counter him would be to hopefully at the time when switched, have a ghost pokemon with a physical attack so he couldn't use the move counter on you, have a dark pokemon with a special attack so mirro coat doesn't effect you, or revenge KO it with the rest because, lets just say, when this poke is switched in to any other poke that doesn't meet the counter criteria above, kiss it good bye. Wobbuffet's one those pokemon that make a great example of why tiers exist. Pokemon with crazy abilities, outragious stats, movepools, and very few counters.

Kyrenx You obviously don't understand how over centralized such a Pokemon as Garchomp can become. It's hardly fun to see every team consist of one spot JUST to counter Garchomp, in most cases, that being Weavile or even Scarf'd Salamence with Draco Meteor in the case of YacheChomp (though even those are proven useless in a Sandstorm thanks to Chomp's Sand Veil ability). It's not so much that people complain about losing, it's the complaint of the elimination of a wide range of Pokemon from being used because said Pokemon is allowed to be used (and thus is used) by at least 95% of everyone you battle. And I can assure you, you are looking at it the wrong way. With Garchomp on your team, your more likely to be guaranteed easy wins, not the other way around. Lol, I remember when Garchomp was OU, just about everyone I knew & their Grandma used one. Back then I wouldn't even battle people until we clarified that Garchomp was banned for the battle. Again, like everyone else stated, you practically had to have a counter for a Garchomp, or you would be crushed. My thought on this is that no pokemon should force trainers to have a counter on every team they build.

Is Wobbufet even useful at all in Double Battles? Also, does his Shadow Tag work on both opponents?

xXSpirit KnightXx It seems to me that Uber is just a excuse for people to use. I have noticed this for awhile, but hearing the Latias thing just upset me a bit to actually complain about it. Ubers are pokemon that are extremely strong, usually very strong, and hit very hard. Garchomp is a perfect example. It has amazing speed, and a high attack stat to boost, so if you were to face one in a battle and you lose, the opponent is cheating because he used an Uber. Frankly i find the whole Uber classification ridiculous, i can understand Legendaries. The whole point of pokemon is to raise a team, and become a awesome trainer( in my opinion, people have similar goals) So can you really say youre a good trainer, when all the truly strong and good pokemon are banned? Latias can be taken down extremely quickly, one hit from my Jirachi's Draco Meteor and game over. Anyway back on topic, once again i shall use Garchomp as an example. I will admit, Garchomp is a complete beast, but can be taken down with Ice Beam with one shot, i have done it with my Froslass. And then someone is going to mention that you have to add a pokemon on your team just to counter Garchomp, Tyranitar, ect. Well in all honesty you have to be prepared for a battle! Make a well rounded team and then see how it works, and if you lose start again! Im really just tired of people complaining about getting the butts kicked by a certain pokemon, its as if people are taking away all the good pokemon out, so then they can get easy wins! Ugh so frustrating, i honestly dont care how strong a pokemon is, they shouldnt be banned from play, because they are hard to beat, its Pokemon, its supposed to be a challenge! ( Legendaries excluded) Sorry just had to rant this is really getting on my nerves. People that complain, suck it up and get better! Once again sorry for ranting this just really makes me mad for some reason. Uber is just a status that makes epic Pokemon look even more epic because they can't be used in battle!!! mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen
