Shadowlit Facade My Hollow Bravo Netherlands, you finally did something correctly. stare
Holland happens (or, at least, happened) to have a large number of superb death metal bands, thank you very much.
No.

My Hollow Is there no originality? Is there nothing fresh? I'm having a terrible time finding bands that are different, yet still remain in the con-finds of my favorited genres. I have pretty much given up on Folk/Viking metal in favor of certain types of Black Metal and local thrash. Meh, I'm more into my local scene than I am into the big bands now. Why? Because I haven't found anything worthwhile lately! Portal's album was fantastic. Blackguard is working on a new album. But what else can I say? Thanks to Digi and Sugarplum, I have found a new love in EBM and Aggrotech, but what does it say when we have to go to outside genres (which I remind you is a great thing. NEVER invest yourself solely in one genre of music) to find something fresh? these days metal is being destroyed by kids who have no idea about it.all i can do is to lay back and listen to the 80`s bands.metal is dying.let`s accept that.

I disagree. There were many great bands in the 1990's and even the the early 2000's. However I have noticed a general decline in superb music making within the last 5 years or so. If this trend continues, the future for metl is rather bleak.

It's so easy to get heard now that people are rushing to get views on Youtube or something similar rather than putting in the time and effort so important to great music. That said, I think there is still good stuff out there, it's just buried deep under piles of crap.
