User ImageSun, surf and sand. Time to relax.

They were taking a vacation. Forellen was not going to argue with them on that point. As they arrived back in the real world Forellen had been kind of depressed by the sight of the ruined academy. According to a wall clock they had been gone only a few hours. I could have been worse and they could be walking back to six feet of snow like they had on their trip to Avalon years before when they had first arrived here. Forellen was taken right to the infirmary and her leg was quickly patched up properly. She had been instructed to try and keep her weight off that leg until it’s fully recovered and Forellen went right to bed the painkillers knocking her out.

Two weeks later:

It had been a rough two weeks, things were tight in the lower levels of the academy while repairs commencing. So to alleviate the cramped quarters of the lower levels they decided to put them on a plane and send them off for some well earned down time. During those two weeks Forellen had made herself as useful as possible as well as trying to help Narcissa recover. Naturally the poor woman was so far off her normal behavioral patterns that it was an amazement that she had even begun to recover at all. Forellen was naturally worried about her...say what you want about Narcissa but she was Forellens friend. When they arrived Forellen had been quietly dozing so she sat upright with a start and yawned getting out. The heat of the sun and smell of the ocean hit her first. Still squinting her eyes Forellen flipped her sunglasses down into place and stretched lazily in the sunlight.

Watching Narcissa head inside Forellen padded to the back and grabbed her bag. Fortunately most of the ladies dorms had been spared from the brunt of the destruction so most of her cloths had survived without damage. As she grabbed her bag Forellen took only a moment to look around and started up to pick a room. She sighed feeling a slight pang from her one leg and her eye ticked slightly. For some reason anything that had to do with Limbo caused her body to reject most healing methods. They suspected that it was because her immune system went haywire due to the foreign infection and rejected anything else that could help. So long story short it took a week for her body to finally filter out the foreign contaminants and they were able to heal her injured leg. It still ached though and there was a small scar left over from it.

Forellen entered the room she would dub her own for her trip here. Not large and not too small it was a nice cool color with large windows. Forellen sighed setting her bags down and with a small grunt flopped down on the rather spacious bed and sighed contentedly. Two weeks with putting up with holographic mattresses made this bed seem like heaven. ”I can easily spend the rest of this vacation right here.” She said with a small sigh.

Alpha: Vacation: Arrival to their destination.

User ImageGideon wasn't happy after getting back to the institute. Never mind him being transported back without knowing it was coming. Gideon had been separated from the others when battle was to happen. He was transported by Belasco or some other being he didn't even know. All he did know is it was magic and he was transported to a location that was full of the larger demons which happened to include the one he had a few fights with before. Seems it held quite the grudge against Gideon which was why he got separated. Only this time it had been different. One he had big friends even two bigger then itself. And two Gideon wouldn't have to hold back. There was no one to see him actually unleash the beast with in. Needless to day it was a brutal and savage encounter that pushed Gideon to beyond his limits and proved to him all the more why it was right that those at the institute feared him. And all the more reason to never let the beast out. He didn't know how many were there nor how many he had taken down.

His appearance on return showed his dealings were no easy trip much like the others. He was covered in blood and other things from his dealings. His uniform wasn't even actually there. He had to tie what was left of it around his waist to not offend any ones modest senses. Granted given how the others looked it probably wasn't that big an issue. It was also then he learned about what the others had been through. And he was pissed at himself for allowing himself to be separated so easily. Many had been badly hurt and unlike himself didn't heal at a stupidly accelerated rate nor had indestructible skeletal structure. But there was one thing even if the more savage side of him didn't agree he couldn't hold anything against Narcissa. While their situations were different they were yet quite similar. His time at Hydra and her's with Belasco.

Time passed ,two weeks to be exact, and the junior teams were granted a vacation. Something about them deserving a break. Seems it takes quite a bit at the Xavior mansion to equate to worthy of needing a break. But what ever it wasn't like they could stay at the construction site that was the mansion anyway. He was going to try to convince Bella to take a separate vacation with just the two of them. But given how attentive and protectiveness over the others increased since returning he knew better then to even try. Maybe they could find solitary time when on this vacation.

The plane and car rides he sat next to Bella in comfortable silence. Though he knew she was on high alert. Her ears would pick up anything she considered possibly a threat. Granted he was on guard too but it was normal for him. It was a rarity to find him not that way. But given his past one would expect him to be so, never mind the whole sharing genetic similarities to one Wolverine who was on guard much the same.

They arrived at the place it was nice. Pretty much what he figured seeing as it was one of Xavier's properties. They man had a taste for the nicer things in life. No mater how generous the man maybe he had his standards and this place certainly met them. It always made him wonder where Xavier got the money for all this. But then again like even many students could of simply been born into money. Gideon got out of the car the wind was blowing slightly. He was wearing a white muscle shirt and a pair of plain black board shorts. He did have a pair of basic sandles on. He was pretty much decked out in typical beach gear. He slung his duffel bag over his shoulder.

Gideon walked over behind Bella. "Would you like me to carry your bags Mi Reina? That way you can go pick the room you would like?" He said simply. He assumed since this was pretty much coed habitation that they would end up sharing a room. And he knew she knew that the addition of her luggage to him would not burden him really at all. He was one of the physically strongest residents of Xavier's after all.

He sniffed the air it seems like a team of cleaners had been through here in the last 24 hours and scrubbed the place down. Most likely in anticipation for their arrival. He could smell cleaner all over the place well along with the others that had just arrived. But pretty much all their scents were familiar to him and he would easily be able to distinguish them from another at any given time. And he had to admit having his good friend Evie back certainly was a welcome change upon returning from Limbo. Now he was certainly curious what stunts Evie may have in mind for this trip.

Omega - Beach - I Should be a Linebacker

User ImageMaddy flung herself wildly onto the bed. It was big. It was white. it looked incredibly fluffy. It was. The girl sighed audibly and smirked at her reflection in the large mirror on top of the dresser. She knew she would never bother filling it. Somehow living out of the suitcase and picking things from there felt more natural while on vacation. She rolled over in the covers and slung her own pillow, covered in a dark purple that contrasted the pure white ones already there, to the head of the bed. That pillow had survived an attack on the mansion, and she found it incredibly comfortable. The ones present weren't the scratchy hotel type (Xavier had more taste than that), but still. Hers were... familiar.

With an energy that had been lacking the last few days, Maddy tore open the giant bad that held all her clothes. She changed into that new swim suit, a simple black bikini with white accents, and lathered on the sun block in copious amounts. The girl then walked briskly out of her room, through the halls completely barefoot with her towel coiled around her neck, and straight onto the beach. There were still a good number of people milling about the beach or in the water. One of them being Vallon.

The boy hadn't been in Limbo, and she knew what had been happening with his father, or at least the basic details of that whole story. She of all people knew how it felt to be tossed aside by a father. The cases were different, but she still felt a level of empathy for him. Grabbing her towel of her neck and starting a run (that is, as much as one can run on burning hot sand), she made for the orange suited target. With one of those last second decisions, she lunged forward and pushed him in the back with her whole body weight. This resulted in her                                                                            own falling on her hands and knees.

Alpha-Lost in Gray Blue

User Image

Vallon continued his walk down the beach when something bumped into his back, causing him to topple over, he turned to see those grayish blue eyes and that beautiful face, he smiled a bit as he sat up and looked directly at her. "Well ain't you fulla pep and happiness today?" Vallon said with his accent as he smiled and scooted close to her, he was incredibly happy to see her and she look beautiful in his bikini. he smiled even more it was the first good thing to happen since his return.

Vallon scooted a little closer to where his legs where under her and he gave her a peck on the cheek. "Ahh your a sight i have been diein ta see, since i got back, It had been hard out there i wish ya could o come." Vallon said as he smiled at her hoping things where ok from what he understood everyone had made it out ok, but there where quite a few injuries.

Really at this point Vallon wanted to celebrate and spend the entire vacation with Maddy It had felt like and eternity since he had seen her, he wanted to make sure thing where good though since they had never set any kind of ground rules, but Vallon knew he wanted to scoop her up in his arms and never let her go, and he kind of could now. He had grown since he left kind of and over night growth spurt, he had gain 6 maybe 7 inches of height he was still shorter than her but it wasn't as dramatic.

He grinned and waited for her to reply before he did anything else, he just kept watching her eyes with a big grin on his face, he was truly, simply happy to see her.

Omega: Narcissa's Room User Image

Narcissa held back a frustrated growl as someone knocked on her door… She could tell by the cold spot that it wasn’t just anyone. That is was Carlos… She couldn’t help the bile that rose in her throat just then. She couldn’t look at his golden eyes, without thinking of the creature she had become. She was thoroughly disgusted with herself… So much so, that the sound of her own name made her wish she was deaf. Looking at what her love had become, because she hadn’t been strong enough… She couldn’t think of anything else, couldn’t breathe.

His demon seemed so close to the surface… It was unnatural. Not, not, her Carlos. Once back from Limbo… The demon in him should have gone back down, his personality shouldn’t have been affected. Not this way. Even though the same could be said for her-- Narcissa was full of double standards. Especially for those closest to her.

But this cold, unfeeling man, was not the man she loved.

Her hand still pressed over her mouth she waited several seconds, as her body calmed, and her breathing evened out. Putting on her best face, she walked over to the door and unlocked it—Opening it with a dead stare. “What?”

Glaring came almost natural to her, and she simply pivoted on her heel, leaving the door open behind her. No… He was not the man she loved…But she couldn’t…Force him away. Couldn’t bring herself to—Knowing, that if he could feel, it would hurt him… Her actions always spoke louder than her words. So with the door open, he could either come in, or leave. That decision was up to him… But no, she wouldn’t throw him out.

Part of her… Wondered if he wanted this. If he wished for this… He’d been ready to give up before the attack on the Academy… She’d seen it, felt it. Just as she couldn’t forgive herself… She couldn’t forgive him for giving in, for breaking down. Not when they had fought so hard to stop his demon from bringing about an apocalypse. Surely, he remembered that. But no, not for her, not for his precious Bella—Could he keep it together. Once again... It boiled down to her habit of being independent. The one thing she had wanted, clearly, was for him to help take care of the Omega's... Instead, she knew from others, from her own eyes, from Solis' eyes... He had given into the darkness and wallowed.

She needed him to protect the others. No matter what befell her... That was what she had wanted.

It wasn't the way it happened.

She stood in front of the window, face turned towards the shining sun… It calmed some of the raging fire and loathing she held inside, and her shoulders seemed to untense. “Is there something you need?”

A cruel glint came to her eyes…Though she felt a glimmer of guilt for dragging her red haired sister into something that had so little to do with her. Narcissa wasn’t exactly rational. She was… In pain, some of which, self inflicted. But when she hurt, she hurt others—And made sure that it stung. Sometimes her memory slipped...But the event she was referring to, he would catch onto right away-- And her memory slipping...Well, it wasn't one of those times. “Kerrigan isn’t here.”

It was easier to be angry with him, than to know and accept the truth.

Alpha: The Lucky One - Heading InsideUser Image

Isabella let it slide, when Narcissa pushed by her so rapidly—Though it was all she could do to hold her tongue. She understood that the blond Omega had gone through hell…The vague details she had over heard from some of the elder X-Men during meetings was enough to turn her blood cold. But it seemed almost as if Narcissa was still… Crazy.

Not Solis crazy…But crazy enough.

She did not agree with allowing her to take up the mantle of the Omega leader again. Narcissa was clearly unstable and—

Her teeth grinding she forced herself to stop thinking about it. This vacation would do all of them some good… She wasn’t going to deliberately squander a time given to them to relax. She couldn’t help but be a little paranoid, but by god, she was not going turn into Scott for this entire trip. She refused to spend it worrying the whole time. Narcissa would…Come along. In time.

Or so she told herself.

She was just about to pick up what Narcissa knocked over when a familiar voice interrupted, and she found her suitcase that was on the floor swept up by Christian. “No…”, she started off, a small smile crossing her features. It was nice, that an Omega talked to her freely—Without some kind of snarky comment of silly request. “No, you aren’t a bother. You don’t have to call me ma’am… Bella is fine.”

She laughed, when he mentioned Limbo—A potentially strange reaction… But it was honest. “Thank me? Thank you… You did your part. We all did…Besides, it’s kind of my job to pull your fat out of the fryer.”

He mentioned her injuries, and the jade of her eyes darkened for a moment, before they returned to normal. It was still a sore spot for her… She thought she could have done better. Been better prepared. She hated, that team members at times had been forced to protect her, instead of the other way around. But she understood that she wasn't perfect... Sometimes, she needed the help.

“I’m better…Warren healed me up in the next few days just fine. How’s your hand?”, she asked, concern coloring her tones. She’d nearly had a heart attack, hearing him scream as the demon bit clear through his hand.

She smiled, when she heard familiar footsteps coming closer—Gideon’s voice making her ears melt, as par usual. For the most part, she kept the warm and fuzzy feeling expression off of her face though… It tended to creep out whomever else she was talking to when her eyes glazed over in that particular fashion. She'd never really expected Gideon to find his own room.. They were both adults, and after having nearly gone out of her head with secret worry for him in Limbo... She liked having him within touching distance.

That, and anything her senses didn't pick up, his would... She'd honestly expected him to be looking for Evie... No doubt the elder girl would pull something interesting, and Gideon would be passively privy to. If Ev didn't pull some kind of practical joke...she would be worried.

She looked at the duffel she was holding, and seemed to shrug in her usual carefree way as she handed it to Gideon. “It’s heavy…”, she warned with a teasing sweet smile, knowing he could handle it. She chuckled good naturedly…

“Aren’t I the lucky one? I must have done something good today… I’ve got not one, but two strong boys to help me. That’s some good karma…”, she walked forward a little, before doing a small spin in the sand, turning back to wink at them both with a small laugh… Wanting them both to smile. Gideon, she was used to being sweet—To her anyway. And Christian was just…Genuinely, a chivalrous character, from what she had seen. She would have said he would have made a good Alpha… But somehow it seemed insulting. He was a great Omega too.

“I don’t know if the two of you have really met…Christian, this is Gideon--- Gideon, this is Christian…”

Alpha: Last One To the Water... Is a rotten egg!User Image

Sophia winced, having landed on her side and rear—She hoped fervently that she wouldn’t bruise. Most of the lighter bruises she had obtained from their last mission had just recently faded… She really didn’t want another. Rubbing her sore side, she blushed furiously as Jacen came bounding down the steps—Just like she had, but with far more grace it seemed. That made her blush more--- That a boy was more graceful than she was.

… Ah’m—Ah..Ah’ve just got no balance...”, she admitted, embarrassed as he helped her up… “Ah just wasn’t paying attention… Ah just couldn’t wait to get back outside. Ah don’t want to waste a minute of this vacation doing something silly like…Unpacking.”

She looked down at the floor, before glancing back up at Kracken, smiling through the redness of her face—“You can laugh—It’s funny.”

Christian passed and Sophie felt her blush deepen—Hopefully he hadn’t seen her vault towards the floor too. “Bonswa Christian”, she responded, happy enough, that he was speaking to her. There really hadn’t been much time to talk since Limbo… Everyone had been too busy healing, then packing for this trip.

She was silent for a moment, before her grey eyes lit up and she tagged Jacen on the shoulder playfully, trying to break up her embarrassment, and not look like such a total dork. “You’re it m’sieu! Last one to the water is a rotten egg!

She laughed and darted away, out the front door—Moving as fast as she could in flip flops over hot sand. Whether he followed or not, Sophie intended on spending as much time in the water as possible—But it would be more fun not to be swimming in an ocean all alone. She grinned when she realized that a few other people already had the same idea she did. Leion had even beat her to it.

Thankfully, she’d worn her swim suit under her clothes—Otherwise tripping down the stairs wouldn’t have been the only mortifying thing she’d done.

Omega - Condo - Things to Be Said

Carlos looked back and gave a small confirmatory nod to Evie as she passed by and gave a small gesture. His eyes went back to the door as she left, his hand resting on the frame. As the door open, a face he was used to seeing by now greeted him. He pushed his shades back up and let out a small breath as he entered the room shutting the door behind him. He didn't have much to say as something deep down boiled and wouldn't go away. More over he was always conscious and aware of other peoples emotions, particular of those negative. He couldn't see Narcissa's state, but her vibes were some of the strongest in the academy. What little emotion he could feel, significant in the least around her, was compulsive enough to soften his face and express concern.

A memory shifted in the back of his mind he looked into it to see a tree, and his younger self lounging in it. Narcissa reading a book and then coaxing him down to look at something. He could remember little of what he was being shown. His eyes were to hers and the glow she had when he got so close. A question brought him back to the present. Times were dishearteningly different now. Those versions of themselves were completely gone. He looked to the floor and chose some words. Without emotion it was easy being less critical of them, and at the same time choosing carefully became a guessing game.

The words were nearly out of his mouth when she stated something else and his mind shut down completely blank. He had thought them past that event. They were. She may not want to intentionally drive him away, but she didn't seem to want him around either. Quite.... saddening. He let out a heavy sigh, and watched her back for a moment. It was eerie. It flashed in his mind that this was how he imagined drifting apart from her. He shook his head. " I don't need her... I'm here for you.". He walked off to the side and turned his back. He was off to her left, feet away, leaning his back against the wall. The shadow there seemed to welcome him moved and bent towards him. It was a little more comfortable then the a sunny spot.

He didn't think long before he had something else to say. Interrupting her if she was going to snap at his slight indifference. " I don't want to fight. I didn't come here expecting to be all lovey dovey. I don't know what will happen. Never did. But I feel it's important to just to say this. I forgive you.... I decided that in the courtyard." He crossed his arms and pushed his shades again back up his nose and watched her carefully a moment before continuing. " I touched a part of you, and when I did I understood better. You understood me."

He looked at the floor and let out a small breath. " Truth is... Your stronger then me... I always feel inferior but you always do right by me. And I'm such an idiot that I couldn't just admit this to you until now, when I can't feel any pride to be ashamed... I just needed to say that... I didn't mean what I said back there.", He got off the wall and turned to face her, one arm hanging while the other held it at the elbow. He shrugged off a small ache and nodded, as if confirming what he just said. " If you can't stand me now, I'll go... I'm not far though. If you need me to do anything, Just ask."

He wasn't expectant of anything at this point. He said his peace and though devoid his feelings he meant every word, all the sentiment. Someone would have to be blind to miss his inferiority complex, but now that he admitted to it he felt lighter. More towards something like himself. A faint smile crossed his lips as he looked to the floor. the first genuine one since getting back. It faded slowly, though he hoped it wouldn't be the last.

Omega - Time to relax

“You’ll have to forgive me,” Christian said with no small amount of embarrassment in his voice, “If I didn’t know you’re name.” He grinned after saying that, but it was the truth. The only way he knew to address the leader of the Alpha squad was by her codename. He never thought he’d actually have the want to speak with her. However, the fact that she was injured in the fight alongside the others who were, it made him feel a tad bit concerned.

Considering the dichotomy between the squads, one would think that Christian wouldn’t have cared in the slightest, but he did remember what Kerri told him before they all traipsed off to Limbo. For better or worse, all the Alphas and Omegas were still on the same side. Yes, he may not have exactly liked or gotten along with some of those Alphas or agreed with their particular attitudes, but he could still at least be civil.

“My hand?,” Christian said quietly, looking at his bandaged appendage. “Yea, I’ll be alright in a couple of weeks. Gotta let the bones reform and harden naturally… but by the time we get back home, I should be able to at least fire a rifle again.” Christian looked up when he heard another’s voice in the same three foot vicinity. A familiar face that he had only seen in passing. It seemed that everyone was falling back into their place.

While Isabella and Gideon spoke with each other, Christian took the bag he carried and set it on the condo’s steps. He figured they could handle the rest. He did smile when Bella made the crack about good karma, though he could only guess it is a case of ‘right place, right time’. At least for her. That was when she introduced both of the guys to each other.

“A pleasure, sir,” Christian said, extending his hand in salutation as he always did when formally introduced to someone ‘new’. It wasn’t that Gideon was a new face by any stretch, Christian just never spoke with the guy. “I’d love to stay and chat some more,” he said as he kept looking at the grove of trees, “But there’s a particular spot of shade just a callin’ my name.” With that he began to walk away from the pair, and while he did he waved at them both. In some way, he was glad that Bella was better now. It made the foolhardy decision he made to get in between Cissa and the Alphas leader less so.

At least no one died, he thought before he was distracted by a rather loud shriek from a particular Southern lass. He looked over his shoulder and saw Sophia running like a wild woman towards the ocean, no doubt looking to jump right in. He saw that he was in the imminent path of chaos, so he turned himself slightly and headed towards the grove of palm trees. A short walk later and Christian found himself parked underneath a relatively small palm, back to its trunk, and enjoying the shade.

From where he sat, he had a decent field of vision. He could see people entering and exiting the condo plus all the people on the beach… though there wasn’t much distance between the building and the oceans. Strangely, he felt content. Even just enjoying something as simple as relaxing in the shade made Christian feel perfectly at peace. Maybe later on in the day, he’d try his hand at swimming; he was still unsure of how he could with his injured hand. With a lazy summer’s day yawn, Christian let his back slide a bit further down the trunk, pulled his hat down a bit more over his eyes, and let himself drift off into a well-deserved outdoors nap.

Alpha - Beach - Get Your Own Luggage

Jack hated flying. He was too big and planes were too small. He liked the idea of going on a vacation though. being roughly the biggest person on the trip He tried not to be in the way. When they landed he was suckered into hauling luggage and putting it in the car, and on the ride to the condos he was uncomfortable being so close to someone himself mashed against the inside. When they got out though and too the condo He took advantage of peoples interest of the beach and first dibs to sneak away with his own bags to avoid being a pack mule. He got away Scott free in a literal sense and unpacked in a room he chose which happened to have one of the larger beds. He sighed when he looked it over. Sometimes his size was just such a bother.

He changed to shorts and left his chest bare as he came out onto the beach. He watched everyone run towards the water and thought nothing of it as he picked a spot to lay down on and just look at the sky. His Memory of Limbo was out of mind. He was knocked out having experienced a total of three of his clone deaths. A new record for him. One from Impale, a second from freezing, and another crushed of which the details weren't really clear. He was told he was dragged out. The weeks that followed he woke up and spent in the gym. He saw a girl there he'd never seen before, but in really good shape. He figured out she was on his team but didn't feel like gettign a proper introduction out of the way at the time. Too busy doing other things.

Alpha: Vacation: heading inside.

User ImageGideon having each of his senses enhanced was always bombarded with information in a sense. His ears could pick up the many people running down to the water or choosing a room if not just tossing their bag in the door and heading to another part of this estate.. His nose picked up the usual scents of people but was all added to with the salty ocean air. It was a nice change of pace from the familiarity that was the academy. While he was no stranger to the ocean or California for that mater. It was new in a sense that this was his first time in this particular exact location.

He simple slung the duffel Bella handed him to his opposite shoulder. He still felt bad about being separated from the group. He had heard them talking about injuries as he had walked up to them. And it served to remind him that he wasn't there to protect her or the others. He was the near indestructible one who could heal from almost anything. He wasn't even sure of the true extent of his healing. Sure the scientists at Hydra had done quite a number on him. But that was back when he was younger and his powers not near as developed. In his years at the institute he has noticed he has gotten stronger, faster, and even with the platted skeleton more agile. Could just be from his constant training or it was just his powers continuing to grow. He even noted a change after returning from limbo or at least Logan made a comment about him being faster and hitting harder during one of their sparring sessions before going on vacation.

He chuckled lightly at Bella's comment that her bag was heavy. He was the strongest of all the people that had come to the island. Even though it one went by just looks it would he thought that the giant of a man Jack would carry that title. But thus is how it goes with mutants by appearances one can rarely ever use as a basis for determining much.

Gideon shook Christian's hand when the boy offered it as Bella introduced them. "Not officially no we haven't. Nice to meet you." He said as the boy headed off to a small grove of trees. Gideon would have to thank him later from what he had heard about the others dealings in the castle of limbo he had that boy to thank for protecting Bella. If there was an easy way to be on what others could consider Gideon's good side was by protecting people he cares for. And Bella is certainly the absolute top of the list of people he cares for. So for Christian to jump between Bella and harm certainly gave the omega Gideon's thanks and respect. Which anyone who knew Gideon would tell you was a feat in and of it self. Thinking of Omega's he was going to have to talk to Cissa sometime this trip or rather get her to talk. He after all knew quite well how it was to be manipulated as she was.

When Christian left Gideon returned his attention to Bella. "So which floor do you think you would like to have the room. But knowing you I am sure one with an ocean view and a balcony would be perfect." Gideon said to his girl friend.

Maddy blinked at Vallon's little kiss-on-the cheek-display and wasn't sure whether to smile, to blush, or just to blink again. The guy was sweet for no apparent reason. 'Okay, quick, change the subject, Maddy...' "Yeah, maybe we'll get shipped off to Ireland some time. Ah there any big super villians stationed in, like, Drogheda or Dublin? Ones on the whole 'destroy the world' track?"

Anyway, a shout from the doorway of the condo caught her attention. Her eyes flicked down to the boy with her. She clapped in his face. (Today's random fact: Maddy can't snap.) "Lets go boy," she said, flicking sand about with her feet consequently from standing. "And wipe that drool off your chin, you look like a friggin' begging dog."

She left here towel where it was, figuring that she would spread it out later if she felt like laying out. It quite brilliantly bright, and she tried to remember if she had even brought sunglasses. She didn't know, either way, and she was searching her memory banks for proof of them having been packed. The girl walked slowly, letting Vallon time to catch up, but she couldn't resist just running into the water. It was quite warm, but it did get cooler the further you went, of course. She was bringing her legs up high, half leaping through the water until she decided the effort was futile. Maddy dived down into the water and swam out as far as she could before she surfaced to take a long gasp for air. Her wet hair was forced back sloppily with a hand, pushing out of her face.

The waves weren't to big at this point, but she let them push her back to the others that had found there way to the water. "So..." she said, glancing at Leion and the Alpha, Sophia. "Fancy meetin' you here."

She looked about for the Irish boy.

Vallon smiled as she made the joke about them fighting some huge villain in Ireland. Vallon thought about it though, most homelands who traveled away generally wanted to go back, even though his visit had been a sad one he had enjoyed simply the chance to be back in his home land. He smiled thinking of trying to take her one day.

Then his attention snapped back when she clapped and he smirked as he stood and yelled back for him to wipe the drool of his chin, she was blunt, but Vallon liked that about her she was tough and strong and blunt about the way she felt. He loved it, as he climbed to his feet and checked to see if there was actually drool on his chin, after he was sure there wasn't he followed behind her into the water he watched her half run into the deeper section he smirked and sunk low and swam below the water.

He swam deep below the water following her keeping his eyes open, it stung a little but he smirked as he watched her surface his lungs where burning but he kept up and waited for her to look around then he poked her in both her sides and surfaced behind her saying. "Boo!" he grinned and smiked as he floated next to her with a smirk. "Ah tellin ya this here vacation is just what tha doctor ordared." Vallon said with a big grin. "So any particular plans ya got on this vacation?" Vallon asked as he stayed a float next to her and nodded with a grin at Sophia, and Leion. He hadn't really said hi to anyone accept Maddy since getting back, but losing his father had set his to focus on his priorities since he got back.

Antonio smiled as he watched the other x-men frolic along the shores, racing each other into the child. He yearned to be normal like them once more, to be careless and free. But alas he was chained to the shore by his shame, a shame he must hide from the world. The children there did not know what it was to have pain like he did, and he hoped that they never would. His sad smile continued as he looked to Shandra.

"I must say that I prefer this place to limbo. It might just be me, but I was rather unfond of the place. The heat was terrible, and the inhabitants were just plain rude. I don't know of anywhere else that treats tourists like that. I say good riddance to them." Though his words were light, there was a seriousness to his eyes, well eye. "I am glad that we did not loose more than we did, I am glad we all got out of there alive." He sigh, his smile dropping, would it have been better to die than to live as he was right now?

He forced his smile back. "This is hardly heat, you and I both know that it can get quite hotter than it is right now, though I hope it does not, as I am not in the mood for swimming, and that is one of the best ways to keep cool." He chuckled looking out at the water.

He ran his hand through his hair, careful to avoid the band of his patch, as he turned to face Shandra. He tucked one leg up, letting the other stretch out. "So about you?" He asked resting his chin on his knee as he looked at Shandra, his face that of a cop interrogating his prime suspect. "Are you liking this place more than Limbo, you lived here at one point didn't you. Do you have family that you plan on visiting?"

He did not wait for her answers before continuing to speak. Talking was good, it would distract people from his out of the ordinary look. people tended not to look in each others eyes as the spoke, and the rest of his body was perfect from his amazingly kissable lips, to his better-than-any-supermodel body. He had a few scars on his body, but most of them had fully healed by now, which irritated him. It was not fair that his body scars, what many woman might have found attractive faded, while the one over his eye did not seem to get any better.

"I am wondering. Are you planning on continuing to be the master chef while we are here, or will you be taking a break from that? I must be selfish and say that I hope you continue your amazing cooking, I think that I would die if I woke to a day with out Shandra's Gourmet meals, you wouldn't wish that on me would you." Antonio pouted giving Shandra a puppy dog eye.

Alpha: Found a Room!

Bella shook her head and smiled as Christian mentioned not knowing her name… It seemed crazy to her, that he wouldn’t at least know her nickname. She’d been at the Academy since she was a little over thirteen years old. Granted, there were a few younger students she didn’t know personally…She’d never met one who didn’t know her, or beg her to write songs with them for their made up pop girl bands… Nevertheless, he knew her now, and that was good enough for her.

I’m glad your hand will be all right… I know Elixir can heal some crazy injuries… But he and Angel were pretty tapped out that night.”, she carried on the conversation as they walked, pausing only when the boys did to greet one another. “Hey—Don't be a stranger...And, make sure you do something more fun than snoozing the day away amigo… You never know what terrible things might happen to you in your sleep with a bunch of mutants and a ton of free time!”, she called after him as he left—Stepping aside as Sophie ran by her, laughing. “Be careful!

She didn’t mind as Gideon stopped to grab her things that Christian set down, and she smiled at her beau—Relieved that he was where he should be. With her. She had been so worried when he’d been gone… He had this tendency to think himself invincible… But one day, he was going to meet something bigger and badder than he was—And it would be too late… Anything that could take Gideon out easily…She never wanted to meet.

You know me too well…”, she passed in front of Gideon, not rudely—But just because she would be looking for the room. That, and she knew from experience that he liked to watch her walk away… Casting him a flirtatious smile over her shoulder as she found a decent sized room on the second floor, a closet, a large bed, and cherry oak furniture… There was a large bay window that overlooked the beach front, and a small balcony beside it… A soft smile crossed her face at seeing all of their teammates playing.

For the first time in a long time, she felt normal… Perfectly normal. On a normal vacation… Relaxed—Watching others have fun. The smile on her face became fond... She really did love them all dearly. How could she not?

How’s this one? I like being in the front of the house…”, she set down the one bag she carried, and walked over to the walk in closet—Whistling. “Dis mio… I really don’t want to know what Professor X paid for this place… It’s wonderful. I kind of wish we got to see where the other teams got to go…”

She took off the sunglasses that were perched on her head, and sat down on the edge of the bed, her eyes tracing the carpet for a moment...“Is it wrong, that I have no idea what to do? We’ve spent so long being in….Soldier mode… I can’t remember how to have fun. I don’t know if I can?”

"Still...",
she spoke lightly, her voice happier as she relaxed further... "The beach is calling me... It feels almost like home. We should definitely go find Ev..."
