Frowning a little as she was ignored, she reached out and yanked on Panther's arm. Maybe he was lost in thought and didn't realize it was her. "HEY." She said loudly, trying to snap him out of his thoughts and back into reality.

Kofuku froze for a moment as the words echoed through her mind, then shook her head. No, he didn't mean them, but there was something wrong. This time, she was going to be more forceful than just a tug on the arm. Running around to his front side, she put her hands out and reached up to his shoulders, grasping them. "No way, not until you tell me what's wrong, Panther. Is there a reason that, out of the entire base, you don't trust me?"

The answer that she was given was not what she was looking for, and she stepped in front of him again to prevent him from walking away. "Actually, seeing how you're acting towards me, I think it's becoming my damn business."

Crossing her arms, she planted herself in front of him, not planning on letting him get by. "You know, just the other day you were talking about wanting me as your leading lady, and about us being partners, but if you can't even open up to me and tell me what's going on, how can I be expected to know that you'll have my back in the field?"

His outburst made her jump in surprise, and any annoyance or anger she had vanished, replaced with concern. "Why do you say that? Of course you will! I"m sure if you just talk to Miss Nadja, things will work out." She looked at the hand he'd used to punch the wall, and very gently reached for it to check it over, wanting to make sure he hadn't hurt himself.

Kofuku followed him close, knowing the path he was taking would lead to his room... where she was rather ready to force her way into his room; she'd put her foot in the door to stop it from slamming shut if she had to.

"Really Panther? You'd rather shoot your foot off then go and just TALK to her and see about changing things? You'd rather shoot your foot off than suck up your pride and talk rationally so that you can at least get this damn punishment on hold and be my partner on the mission? You'd be able to go outside, you know, and be away from this place." Now she was trying to give him incentive. She had absolutely no idea that he'd already spoken to Nadja.

Moving quickly the moment the door was open, she slid her foot into the doorway and kept it planted, even when the door slammed against it. A small yelp of pain came from her, but she wasn't about to let Panther go so quickly, her foot would be the sacrifice for him.

"Wait, so you've talked to her already?" The confusion and surprise was clear in her voice as she fought for her way into his room. "Why didn't you tell me? What happened?!"

And now he was trying to move her injured foot. "No! I'm not leaving until you talk about it, dammit! You asked about being partners last time and I said no, remember? And this is part of the reason why! You won't tell me anything when you're upset, and you won't let me help you!"

Pushing against the door, tears sprung into her eyes as her foot throbbed a little; damn this hurt! Still, she continued to try to force her way in. Her gut was telling her that this was going to have to all be forced out of him if she was going to get anywhere, and damn it she wanted to get somewhere with this man. She hated how he was acting at the moment, and she worried about him and the reasons behind his current mood, and she was going to do everything in her power to fix him.

Leaning against the door, Kofuku was silent for a bit, frowning. That really didn't sound right, especially since Nadja didn't look like someone who wouldn't give a straight answer; she was an Elite, weren't they all about seriousness? There was only one solution that she could think of.

"Fine, be that way." She tried to look at him to make sure he could see the determination on her face, despite the couple of tears from the pain her foot was in. "This isn't over at all though, not by a long shot." That said, she pulled her injured foot from the door and hobbled off; it was time to take matters into her own hands, and that meant only one thing. It meant going to the Elite's Office and talking to Nadja. Limping a little down the hall towards the elevators, Kofuku gave herself a pep talk, reminding herself who this was for, and that at least it wasn't Seth she was going to have to talk to.

Sooner than she would have liked, she stood outside Nadja's door. Taking a deep breath, and reminding herself once again that this was NOT Seth, she knocked as confidently as she could on the door.
