Rivener simply nodded at Lazarus' thanks. The Scorpion didn't think he needed to be thanked; he was glad to have been able to help. If it made anyone feel better to offer thanks anyway, then Riv would just accept it. "...I'm just glad he's going to be okay," he mumbled mostly to himself as he watched Laz float closer to the doctor.
The rest of the treatment went well enough, Kyou finishing with Xiu's hand and turning to face the two. The doctor would call Hazeline later, and then offered to call Aphismet... "No, that's okay, no need to wake Aphi. I'll just sleep on a couch over in the lobby, and tomorrow morning I'll take the bus, if that's okay. I'm kind of a little burnt out myself, I just wanna crash." He smiled sheepishly. "Besides, it's like nearly 6am now... the buses will start up pretty soon."

Upon at the mention of the current time, Kyou's eyes snapped to the clock on the wall. Rivener was right, the clock indicates that it is 5.52am now, it's been nearly an hour since he was pulled out of bed. "Alright. I'll open the Lab later today then, God knows I need more sleep as well." He said as he yawned and stretched. Now that the sense of urgency had subsided and the adrenaline rush had faded, he's starting to feel sleepy, looking forward to hit the sacks again. "Lazarus, could you get Xiu a proper blanket please? You can pull one from my room upstairs." He asked nicely as he stifled another yawn, the little issue just now completely forgotten.
Lazarus nodded to Kyou's request. "Okay." He would do his best to help. And with that, he departed immediately to get the spare blankets for Xiu, the air conditioning in the medical office (which used to belong to Tsu) can get pretty chilly.
"Now if you'll excuse me." The scientist said to Rivener as he too exited the room, he was sure that with the scorpion Raevan's frequent visits, (oddly usually with urgent problems) he would know his way around by now. Walking lazily through the laboratory, his office and finally entering his room, he crawled back into bed and re-adjusted his alarm clock to 9am.
