It's not that I don't love you....
Adonis slumbered on for a while before some part of him realized that the bus wasn't moving. The smooth rocking motion was no longer there.....
He sat up slowly, rubbing at his one good eye,
"Ptch...." it was a strange noise he made sometimes, ".....where are we-?" he yawned.
Why wasn't the bus moving? Wait, where was the driver-?! He got up to stretch, adjusting his pants to better comfort his short, fluffy tail. His right ear straightened up all the way in interest as he looked back at the fox,
".....what's going on?"
.....we're completely alone....in the middle of no where, aren't we?
.....it's just that I'm afraid.

Misunebo looked over at him, seeing his body shiver unconsciously. They were in the middle of a desert and the temperature was dropping rapidly. With no driver, it meant no keys and no keys meant no way of heating this metal tomb. If they didn't share what little body heat they had, Misunebo and Adonis would very well freeze to death. That was when he wrapped his arms around the rabbit and shared his warmth with the other.
There was only one problem with this situation; they were completely alone and that scent that Adonis had been releasing lately was clouding his mind. "Flat tire. Driver went to the last gas station we passed to get some help." Misunebo felt the chill that bit at them and shivered lightly. "You're freezing."

It's not that I don't love you..... Adonis' eyes were wide with shock and he was rather stiff in Misunebo's arms. Yeah, it was cold, but was it that cold? He could barely breathe, and it wasn't because he was being squeezed too tight.
What do I do now?
Adonis didn't want to push him away and hurt his feelings, but this was embarrassing-! His cheeks burned with color, flushing with blood already. It was cold, though, and that was probably Misu's excuse. He could use that excuse just as well.
And he would.
"It's not that cold, you know..." he mumbled, trying not to sound as embarrassed as he felt. He shifted a little, to put his hands on the fox's chest, so it was more comfortable.
".....y-you don't have to hug onto me like this....".....It's just that I'm afraid. (Okay, I'll modify my layout now. It'll look prettier. >.> Yay~)

"It gets very cold in the desert at night." Misunebo explained softly. He didn't know what was over coming him but it felt soothing. "Besides, if I didn't hold you like this, you would probably get away from me again."

"G-Get away?" Adonis flushed deeper.
What did he mean by that? How did he ever get away from Misu? The fox boy would just sniff him out. There was no way to escape him. Plus....
He was just using the cold as an excuse to hug him. Adonis was sure that was it. Misunebo was a person of opportunity.

Misunebo chuckled a bit. Maybe he was weird, no, scratch that. He was most definitely weird. But having Adonis so close, it was all he could do to not take him right there. Slowly, Misunebo brought his lips to Adonis', gently nibbling on his bottom lip, a hand beginning to roam the rabbit's body. He could feel the others reaction to it as well as hear it and smell it. It was amazingly erotic. That was when a clang came from the front of the bus as the doors opened and the bus driver appeared.
"We'll be on our way again in just a minute. Here, I'll turn the heat on for you guys. You must be freezing." With that, the heat roared to life, blasting hot air at them. The fox boy scowled and released his hold on Adonis, his excuse for holding him in the first place now gone. Mentally, he cursed the bus drivers timing and debated on taking his frustrations out on him.

It's not that I don't love you.....
Adonis's eyes were wide, even after they separated. The heat felt good against his skin--cold from the air, and clammy from the sweat that had broke over him at the touches and the kiss. His heart was beating erratically and his breath was short and uneven.
How could Misu tease him like this? It was unfair, and extremely embarrassing. He was feeling like a rabbit alright: trapped by the fox, no where to go, a spot of prey in a small field waiting for the end to come.....
He would not be his own for much longer. Adonis knew it. Misunebo would not resist his own desires for much longer.....and that was a very scary thought.

Misunebo mentally scolded himself, well, more like mentally beat himself up for doing that to Adonis. It was just difficult for him to control himself. And, damn it, how long could he keep it up especially when Adonis gave him all those adorably sexy looks?! The fox boy sighed heavily, leaning back against the seat. This was going to be a long, LONG week.

It's not that I don't love you.....
Adonis remained quiet.
It was awkward. The silence was thick, heavy, and nearly unbearable. He desperately wanted to break it, but didn't know how. He didn't know what he could possibly say that wouldn't lead to any sort of embarrassing conversation.
Adonid really didn't want to talk about anything concerning anything between the two of them, if that made any sense.
Misunebo seemed a bit stand-offish now.
How unnerving. He could always rely on Misu to be more upbeat than himself, but they seemed evenly matched this time.
The ride continued on; silent, long, and awkward.
It was a long time until Adonis felt drowsiness pulling on his again. He sighed a little, and leaned over, resting his head on the fox's shoulder and letting his eyes fall closed.
If Misu could use freezing to death as an excuse to hug, then Adonis could use sleep as an excuse to lean his head down on Misu's shoulder.

Misunebo looked down at Adonis and smiled softly. Slowly, he put an arm around the rabbit's body, drawing him closer so he could be more comfortable. It wasn't long before the movement of the bus and Adonis' warmth had Misunebo's own eye lids drooping. Yawning a bit, he rested his head atop of the others, his eyes slowly closing and he drifted off to sleep as well.

Adonis slept pretty comfortably, but woke with an uncomfortable crick in his neck. He frowned as he rubbed it, scooching away from Misuenbo to get up and stretch his legs. He was stiff from the hours of not moving.
"Ugh.....where are we?"
He pressed his face to a window, good ear up straight. He didn't recognize anything, of course, as he hasn't done any travelling in his life time.

Misunebo leaned against Adonis while looking out the window, effectively pinning the rabbit against the glass and making it seem like he didn't realize that he was doing that. "Hm ... I think we're in the first city. I think it might be called Vegas or something like that."

"Las Vegas?" Adonis stared around at the expanse of desert that slowly faded away into skyscrapers and casinos, hotels and places of entertainment. He had never been in such a big city before.....and he was automatically filled with fear.
The rabbit's flight response overtook him, but the only place he was able to go was further into Misunebo's arms.
"S-Scary--" he muttered, embarrassed.
If he couldn't live peacefully in such a small town such as the one in which he was born, how could he ever get along well in such a huge city-?!

With a teasing chuckle, the fox boy dipped his head to gently sniff at Adonis' scent that had the highest concentration at the boy's neck. "Well don't worry, I'll protect you from the big bad city." Man this little rabbit smelled so good, it almost made him drool. He wanted to do things with him that was almost scary with the way it made Misunebo want him. He couldn't help it as he moved their bodies closer and a pink tongue snaked out, licking Adonis' neck lightly. Almost as quickly as he had did it, Misunebo put distance between himself and his rabbit friend. "Sorry."

It's not that I don't love you.....
Adonis flushed deeply, embarrassed at the tiny touch of the fox's tongue on his neck, flinching away on simple instinct. He rubbed at his cheeks, looking elsewhere, back out at the city.
People would look at them funny, and there were bound to be plenty of people in such a popular city. He just hoped that he could cope with it.

They would be staying in the New York New York hotel...a large structure that was built to look like the many important buildings of the northern city. They were lead by a bellman (who pushed their luggage on a trolley) up to their floor and shown their room. It was large and spacious...with a two bed room, a living area, a nice bathroom, and a kitchenette.
Adonis immediately went to the window that overlooked the rest of the busy city....this was just the main part, the tourist attraction known as "The Strip". All the casinos were on this one road and it was everyone came to have a good time.
Both of them being under 21 years of age, they wouldn't be spending much time drinking or gambling. But each casino was built differently and had spectacular attractions for all ages.
"Hey, Misu-!" Adonis turned his head to look back at his best friend, "Come see the veiw from here! Look, there's an M&M Museum! I bet we could get a lot of chocolate there, huh?"
It was the most amazing thing he'd ever seen, and he was excited. The desert sun had set and left the city sparkling...and tomorrow they would be able to explore. They would have a good time.
Adonis smiled at him when Misunebo came up to the window with him, and he gently brushed his hand over the fox's,
"Look how beautiful it is~!"
