Listen, all I wanted to know is how you or anyone else felt about what the Lord was saying in this verse or even the whole content of this chapter. For I know that sometimes, someone can read a verse and would have questions about it or view it differently. How else are we to learn about God's word unless we asked questions and share how we feel that God is speaking to us?

Then no offense, but you should have said that in the first place.

Why are you acting the way you are? It's reworded now, so let it go already. Lay off Misty, ok?

...words are such tricky things...

Misty the verse you quoted is I believe if reference to witnessing and how we should not be ashamed of our faith and not try to hide it, but show it to the world so that the glory of God can be known to all who meet or maybe even simply see us.

Yes, Si, I completely agree with you there, in both situation, for words can be tricky if worded wrong which I have learned my mistake in the manner. As for the verse yes I completely agree with you there for we shouldnt be ashamed about our faith and that we ought to go out and tell others about our Lord and what He did for us.

Ok guys, I have a question here. Well actually more of curiousity; I recently have been informed that our guild isn't a true Christian guild. Now my question is what kind of guild is this and if we aren't being the kind of christians we are supposed to be how can we improve and make this guild more Christ-like (which is the meaning of being a christian). So if anyone has any ideas please share them with us for I for one dont what this guild to have the testimony of not being Christ-like.

Well I'm actually interested in hearing this persons reasons as to "why" we are not a christian guild?

They couldn't take the fact that people may or may not have various views about things, but were still in overall agreement of the Bible, apparently.

This guild is a Christian guild, otherwise, I would've left quite some time ago. This is one of the few guilds I've been in and have actually felt welcome for my strong beliefs.

And Misty, to be more specific, Christian means to be Christ-like.

this is a very christ like guild in my opinion. we share our faith with all here. others of no faith in Jesus are welcome with open arms. no one has ever been turned down membership even when their join request stated they were non believers. some of these people wished to learn more & others were here for other reasons like a nice place to hang out & chat without all the flaming. i can honestly say even though i turned ownership over to you Misty that i followed my heart on creating this guild. everything that was originally put into place was done by inspiration. Jesus inspired me to go out & make a place where all were welcome to relax & talk. share their faith or to just chat. yes my ultimate goal was others that joined would grow stronger in their faith. also that those that joined with questions in their hearts would find answers in Jesus. forcing the bible on someone has never been my goal nor the goal of this guild. i feel all members have done their best to make others welcome & to feel at home here. i can't & wont say this guild is better than any other christian guild out there. i can say though that we allways welcome talking & debating an issue as long as we can act mature & not cut others down.

faith is exactly that the hope and trust in things unseen

without a visual God to see it requires us to have faith and believe with all our hearts that God is who His word says he is

Well Red, I do hope others will come here and feel at home here, with the Lord's help, I hope to make this guild, be the way you wanted it to be.

Ok, now for a different subject. In your understanding of the scriptures, what do you think the Lord is telling us in, Galatians 6:2..Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Why would he want us to bear each other's burdens?
And how is this going to fulfil the law of Christ?

Love your neighbor as you would love yourself.

He calls us to help each other out, if someone asks for your shirt, give him your coat. Stuff like that. I know what I mean, but I am not good at explaining stuff. sweatdrop
