Toshusai Manami [Genin] [Ranmaru] [Konoha] When the breeze had blown again, Manami was going to rely on the subtle ring of the bells to once again confirm the position of Misuki, however, what he got was more than he had suspected. While the ring of the bells was as clear as spring water, there was also movement in the leaves of the trees as the hokage seemingly dashed out from her hiding place, back in the direction which he had come from. It seemed she didn't want to perform the hide and go seek game, since as she landed, the bells gave off another ring, confirming that she had moved towards the clearing. With a sigh, the willing mute turned on his feet and started jogging towards the clearing, performing a few hand signs on his way. A clone appeared at his side when the small sting of seals was done, jogging alongside him. He took a moment to explain his plain to the illusionary copy, and after a curt nod, bolted into the clearing by himself, leaving the clone within the trees. Gradually he began to walk towards his teacher, relying on the tactic he had told the clone in order to pass this bell test. It really wasn't something that he could do one his own, being a genjutsu user, but he would try anyway.
With a calm face, but untrained eyes, he looked Misuki directly in the eyes with determination, performing another string of hand seals, hoping that she wouldn't catch on to what he was doing. Misuki Sindoue Sindoue clan | Konohagakure | Hokage (Sp.Jounin) | Clone Smiling as she spotted Minami entered back into the clearing, Misuki noticed him taking the range attack route and deciding to really test him, charged forth. Going at a pace that wouldn't be too hard to follow and still slow enough for her to alter directions, the clone waited till she was within two meters of the boy to leap into the air and aim a drop kick at him.{It's cool. Toshusai Manami [Genin] [Ranmaru] [Konoha] Despite what the clone thought she was going to do, a few moments before she could even prepare herself to jump, she froze in place. It seemed that the girl was ignorant of his genjutsu ability, although that thought was not meant at all slanderous towards the Hokage. He had often heard that they were weaker versions of the creator, but if it was really this easy to catch the clone in a small genjutsu like this, he wondered if he would be able to take on the Hokage herself. Of course, he would never do that, since it would be an insult to both her pride, and her rule, if a Genin thought that they could take her on. The thoughts moving through his mind nearly caused him to blink out of carelessness, which shook his mind awake as he focused on the clone before him. The bunshin that he had created earlier came running out of the forest, heading straight for the genjutsu-ensared clone as he waited for it to near. Once it came within grabbing distance, it reached for the bells upon her waist, and Manami blinked, deactivating the jutsu.
Just after he had done so in a planned move, his hands sprung into action. A kunai appeared in his hand seemingly out of nowhere, the time between it being in his hand being little, as it was thrown with precision towards the strings of the bells which hung at her waist. Immediately after he dove after the weapon, hoping the catch the bells before they struck the ground if his kunai hit. If it didn't, he would look rather foolish, and probably get a kick to the face. Misuki Sindoue Sindoue clan | Konohagakure | Hokage (Sp.Jounin) | Clone Just as her feet pushed off the ground, Misuki felt herself momentarily froze in place. Her eyes widened a bit in shock but it was immediately contained as she stared challangingly at Manami 'Interesting...this isn't any particular technique I'm aware of...genjutsu...' Of course even if she was able to figure out the truth behind the technique, as a wind clone, she doesn't exactly pocess the ability to "kai" out of it like the original, so if anything, she can only hope for Manami to end the technique himself. 'Which I doubt...'
Back in reality, the clone was completely frozen and unable to break out of it without disbursting herself, Minami's attempt to reach for the bells was almost successful except for the fact that Minami blinked and ended the genjutsu moments before the grab. Quickly blinking out of it, Misuki raised her left hand quickly as she brought the bells just out of the clone's reach. The kunai though was unexpected so Misuki had to result to thinking on the fly. Bending backwards, Misuki formed a bridge using one hand and as soon as she was confident that the kunai flew passed her, Misuki pushed off the ground using her feet and kicked upward. Left leg before the right. She wasn't really aiming to hit Minami but the chances of her actually hitting the second Minami was possible too.

Toshusai Manami [Genin] [Ranmaru] [Konoha] An audible curse slipped from Manami's mouth, and that was all he could manage before being forced to maneuver out of the way of Misuki's kick. The clone, having failed in it's task in being able to sufficiently distract Misuki, dispelled on its own. Unable actually move himself out of the way of the kick since he was in mid-lunge, he forced one of his feet into the ground and pushed his body to the side, allowing him to narrowly escape getting a solid kick to the face. It probably would have broken his nose, and that wasn't exactly a look that he wanted to wear for the next few days while waiting for it to heal. He brought his palm upward and used it as a pivot, and stopping point. Again, due to his rather shady specialty, another kunai appeared in his hand, and was through once more towards the bells as he spun on his on his hands, throwing a kick towards the clone's back at the same time. (( Manami couldn't move until he ended the genjutsu, so he blinked. Also, blinks are instantaneous, so it's kind of hard for it to create a delay. =P )) Class: Genjutsu Primary Attribute: Agile [+1 Rank to Evasion] [Evade] Secondary Attribute: Intelligence [-3 Posts] Tertiary Attribute: Great Chakra Reserves [+1/10 Chakra Points]

Misuki Sindoue Sindoue clan | Konohagakure | Hokage (Sp.Jounin) | Clone As she swung upward with her feet, the clone heard the sound of a clone disappearing and as she kicked through air, knew instantly that her attack was a miss. 'tsk.' Having chosen to swing her legs up seperately, the time it took for her to plant her feet on the ground became longer than usual thus providing Minami with the opportunity he needed to attack Misuki's clone. Unable to twist her head to see Minami, the kunai flying past her arm, took her by surprise and the clone grunted as the two of the bells were cut loose. As one foot landed, the clone procceeded to push the rest of her body up only for her back to be hit by Minami's kick. 'D***,' Thought the clone before it disburst and the last bell fell onto the grassy ground unscratched. As the smoke from the clone cleared, a folded slip of paper can now be seen on the ground in the exact spot where the clone once stood. When opened, the note will review this small riddle written in the center in delicately, cursive font.
The eyes that contantly watch over the village...
{I guess so...sorry about that. Thought I chance it. If you want I can edit. And it was more of a instant reaction kinda thing like if you feel a bug on your hair (even if there isn't) and your hand shoots upward. But yeah, I can edit.}

Toshusai Manami [Genin] [Ranmaru] [Konoha] Nothing but surprise was in Manami's thoughts as the kunai actually cut the bells from the clone's grasp. He had thought that she would be smart enough to maneuver in such a way that wouldn't trap her if he followed up with another attack, since she opened up a blind spot merely by doing a backflip. However, she didn't. He wasn't even expecting his foot to solidly hit the clone, but it did, and what momentum was left when it dispersed threw the boy over into the grass face first. A moment was taken for him to absorb was just happened, and he raised himself from the dirty ground, spitting out a piece of grass. Slowly, he slid into a sitting position, glancing at the glass bell which had landed in the grass. The other two had broken from the fall after being 'rudely' awakened by his expertly thrown kunai. It would have been nice to boast about having snatched all three of them, but it seemed that he would only be able to take one as his reward. A sigh escaped Manami's lips as he snatched up the glass bell, his eyes spotting a piece of paper that he hadn't seen fall onto the grass, if it even did. The clone must have left it behind, probably some clue as to what he was going to be doing next.
Lo and behold, he was right. Upon the paper was written a riddle, if it could even be called that, and even the most daft person could figure out the location from reading it. The fact that she had written such a simple made Manami frown, was she underestimating the intelligence or her students? It was likely, since in his experience, the superior shinobi were awfully full of themselves. He crumbled up the paper and threw it back to the ground, looking towards the giant hokage mountain the distance, and frowning even deeper. There was a long jog ahead of him, and he would have to listen to the ringing of the bell. Even if it was a sweet sound, listening to it for the next 10-30 minutes wasn't what he had in mind.

____________________________Sindoue Misuki_______ Konohagakure / Medic / Hokage (Sp.Jounin) / Sindoue Clan Sunset, the time where the work day is almost finished and everyone is making their way home after a tired day of work. For two such people, sunset was their time of momentary rest as there were still numerous things to do for the fallen village. Silently following her leader, Misuki uttered not a sound as she trailed behind the blue hair kounichi through the near-empty village streets. They soon took a left and entered the forest, the sounds of rustling grass being the only indication of their presense in the woods. Eventally the pair arrived at a clearing that Misuki instantly reconized as the Konohagakure Memorial Area. 'Why are we here of all places...?' Never one to question her superiors, Misuki could only follow Kage as she walked over to the stone and went down on one knee before it. Stopping 5 paces behind her Captain, Misuki watched intrigued as Kage silently fingered the stone, her face hidden from view as her position behind her, prevented her from seeing the woman's expressions.
"Misuki, have you ever thought about how you would die?" The words were sudden and solemn; they pierced through the silence like a small rift. Head snapping up, Misuki was completed taken by surprise at the woman's words and moistening her lips, Misuki tried to form some sort of decent of answer for her teacher. "I...I don't know Kage-sama...I've never really thought about it..." Glancing down towards the stone flooring, Misuki didn't know why, but she felt kinda bad all of a sudden. As a shinobi, her life was constantly on the line. Yet, she never really gave death much of a thought...other than how she had to survive though each battle...what did that reveal about her...was she too confident in her abilities to live...no...though it did show that she never really bothered to consider her life, and what she wanted and expected from it..."I see..." The calm, commanding voice of her teacher brought Misuki back from her thoughts and once more raising her head, Misuki continued to stare at the broad and strong back of Konoha's leader. This was the back that shouldered the weight of an entire village. This was also the back of the woman, Misuki had grown to know and come to admire over the months of being under her service. 'Such a strong and capable woman...'
"Well I for one, expect to die in combat. To lay my life for my village in the midst of battle...that is the greatest honor any shinobi can achieve, to die for one's village...and if I do die, I can only hope to be buried here, where my name will be etched into history among the many others who bravely died for their beliefs..." The words were soft and her voice was never changing but Misuki could almost hear the emotion set into each word and each word just drew her in more and more. This was a side of Kage that Misuki never saw from her teacher before and it surprised her. It also scared her though...to speak of death...why she choose to do it now and only in her presence...Misuki will never know...or at least, she didn't ever expect to...Entering into the tranquil clearing that was the Konohagakure Memorial Area, Misuki headed straight for the memorial stone. The stone itself was a symbol. It was a symbol of all the brave souls that fought and died for this village. It stands tall and pround, carrying the names of all those who fell for the goodness of Konoha through out the ages. Multiple names were etched onto the stone's smooth surface but only one stood out to Misuki. Stopping approximately a meter from the stone, Misuki took a moment to stare at it and reminisce. 'Even to this day...I still can't get over how this stone makes me feel...sadden...yet at peace...'
Taking a step forward, Misuki dropped down to one knee and set the bouquet of white lillies against the stone. She then gentle set the bouquet of orange ones off to the side for later. Gaze locked onto the stone, Misuki raised her left and and gently fingered the names etched onto it, freezing at one particular name - Kage. The name of the previous Hokage and Misuki's mentor. She was the one who one day arrived unexpected at Suna and established 'ROOT'. For the past year or so, Misuki had be under her direct supervision and guidence. She was taught many things and was shown what being a shinobi really meant. 'Seems I'm in your position now eh Kage-sama...? Releasing a sigh, her figers never left their spot by her mentor's name as she parted her lips to speak. "You taught me so much Kage-sama...and I have nothing to show for it other than taking up your request and becoming Hokage..."
Her voice was soft and it held a tint of saddness and yearning, "...You know, I always wondered why you kept me close at hand more than you did Deil and Hikaru...and as smart as I was, it wasn't until your will was mentioned that everything came together...had you expected to die for this war?...Those words you said to me that evening...they still ring clear in my head, but I can never seem to figure out just what exactly you wanted to tell me...I figured most of it but a part of me tells me there's more to your words..." Forcing her frown into a small, gentle smile, Misuki let her fingers slid from Kage's name down to the very last name before bringing her hand back to her side. "I'm sorry Kage-sama, I'm sure listening to me belittle myself is not something you want to hear. Afterall, you taught me well..." Falling silent, Misuki took a moment to just stare at the bouquet of white lillies. 'Purity, majesty...I hope you enjoy these flowers...I'll bring the usual ones on my next visit...'
Switching her thoughts from the past, Misuki decided to focus on the present and all that it represents. "I did a bell test today...seems the next generation thinks I went too easy on them...they're...they're an interesting bunch...Deil's Mizukage now...Hikaru is still back with Kanzo-sama in Suna...other than that..." Hands clutched together now, Misuki countiued to chat softly to the stone about the more recent events. It might seems strange to some but for Misuki, speaking to a grave made her feel as if the person was still alive. It gave her a sense of peace.[Chakra Pool: 54/60] [Stamina Pool: 69/69]

Setsuna twirled about and around as she sang a smooth and jazzy tune with the word, " Nyan" repeated over and over. To keep beat, she snapped her fingers as she twirled about. Her business at the memorial? No one knew. The girl had no reason to be at the memorial, she was an orphan because her parents abandoned her, not because they died in battle. She was just there because she was there. Setsuna began circling the large stone memorial as she continued to twirl, sing, and snap. A shy smile was on the girl's peaceful face, contrasting sharply with the absurd actions her body was performing. With each twirl she made, Setsuna's hair would whip around gently, undulating up and down with the wind like the flakes of white ash that they resembled in color. As for the girl's eyes, the were closed as the girl sang. "Nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan," Setsuna sang smoothly, the whisker-like marks moving with each word her mouth formed. The girl kept up this strange dance around the memorial, disregarding any strange stares that came her way. Suddenly she stopped right besides Misuki. "Hello previous-assistant-hokage-now-current-hokage-sama," the girl started off with an absurdly long title, "What brings you here today?". The girl's eyes were still closed and while her feet weren't moving, her body continued to sway in whatever direction it could sway in. The same peaceful look and gentle smile were still on Setsuna's face and her hair continued to move gently with each movement of her body.

____________________________Miho_______ Konohagakure / Assassin / Genin / Iron Sand Jumping from tree, sweat beading on her forehead as she pushed her legs, making them burn as he breath got heavy. Miho was almost done with here run, she had been at it for almost two hours now, moving as fast as she can, running, climbing up building, jumping from tree limb to tree limb. Each time her feet touched the ground she made sure not to let them make a sound. She made it through almost the entire village without anyone noticing her movements. Granted most the guards were lax, as they repaired damage from the Bijuu attack, but to Miho, it was a accomplishment with her being a fresh Genin just outta the academy. Then again, with her being 16 she was still a few years away of her graduating class, and a few years behind her peers, but she would make up for it, it was why she was pushing herself now, so when the Chuunin exams came she could pass them first time around. Landing on a tree branch that gave a clear view of the memorial stone Miho saw to girls, one seeming curious, and utterly uncaring or effected by the sad aura the area carried, while the second seemed to carrier her head low with the flowers in hand as she seemed to be talking to the stone. Quickly entering stealth Miho decided to see how long she could stalk to the two before they would be able to pinpoint her. Miho didn't know either of them, but she knew they were nin because of the head bands each on branded, but being rather reclusive during her time in the academy faces, and names never stuck with her so the fact that Misuki out ranked her drastically wasn't apparent in her mind as she watched the two girls like she would a target. ____________________________Sindoue Misuki_______ Konohagakure / Medic / Hokage (Sp.Jounin) / Sindoue Clan "..well, that's bascially it. We're still in the reconstructing stages of things but with any luck, we should once more be able to reopen our gates by the end of the week." Done, Misuki brought her right leg down as well, so that she would be kneeing on both legs instead of one. Pressing both hands together, Misuki closed her eyes as she began to recite a light prayer in her head.
Not long after the first sentence of her prayer did the soft singing of the word 'Nyan' reach Misuki's sensitive ears. At first Misuki choose to ignore it but the sound got closer and closer within in moments. 'Argh...can't think properly...' Doing her best to ignore the strangly catchy, jazz tune, Misuki willed herself to finish the realitively short prayer set in her mind. It didn't help though that the sound of it was close and was constantly circling her without any signs of stopping. Giving up after forcefully whispering the second line of her original prayer, Misuki sighed and opened her eyes. The sight of a petite girl with ash-colour hair twirling around the stone's location caught her eye and when she finally stopped next to her, Misuki instantly tensed. 'Setsuna-chan...'
Face still neutral, Misuki willed herself to relax but memories of the day she executed the 'host retrieval' mission kept resurfacing and though Setsuna was a unique child to begin with, the changes were still relatively obvious and for Misuki, it caused her to feel guilt. Willing her body to relax as the girl spoke and addressed her with the insanely long title, Misuki turned her head to face the girl, a small forced smile on her face. "Hello Setsuna-chan. I'm well, just paying a visit to an old mentor. And you?" Misuki eyed the girl softly, keeping a look out for anything out of the ordinary. For a girl like Setsuna, expected the unexpected as the girl is a mystery. She can say one thing and mean another. Misuki herself has yet to get over their first meeting and knowing to never reveal too much in her present, kept as neutral as she can without seeming rude.
As she waited on Setsuna's answer, Misuki's sensor abilities took hold as she once more locked onto the presense of another shinobi in the premises. At first the chakra signature was strong but then it dimmed, making Misuki assume that the person had entered 'stealth' without knowing of her rank. 'Whoever this person is, they got guts to try and sneak up on us. Sure this person might be able to fool Setsuna, but I'm a entirely different story.' Releasing another sigh, Misuki spoke out in a casual, authoritive, tone of voice to the approaching shinobi. "Best you exit your stealth mode, there's no point in using that against me. Though less strong, your signature still burns like a flame to me." Keeping to her kneeling position, Misuki made no move to get up. Instead she waited on a response from both shinobi.
{@Havik: Misuki placed the flowers down already so they're leaning against the stone and not in her hands.
@Kage: Curse you. Made me listen to that song twice. TWICE I tell ya! You're getting me addicted to this constant, catchy and repetative beat! heart } [Chakra Pool: 54/60] [Stamina Pool: 69/69]

____________________________Miho_______ Konohagakure / Assassin / Genin / Iron Sand Despite her dark, cold, personality Miho felt a chill of sadness cool her throbbing body as the older women knelled in front of the stone, she herself knew loss, her father died on the Gobi attack in Suna, him being one of the stronger Sand Shinobi he was on the front lines. The memory's of him, and of the fast move to Konaha after his death filled her mind as she watched. Then suddenly her sadness was replaced by annoyance as the women seemed to automatically know her presence was there even before Miho herself knew Misuki was there. "Your good at that, how?" Said a stern, but smooth voice as Miho fell out of the tree and broke her stealth. Even with Misuki's sensitive hearing only a small rustle of bending grass would be heard as the young Genin fell to the ground lightly. Standing and walking toward Misuki Miho's pale brown skin tone would be bright under the dark purple of her hair and eye liner. The tight black dress swinging with her thick hips as she took each step, the ruffles, and large bow on the back making the scene adorable cute. The loose white sleeves of the dress which Miho used to hide thing made the outfit even more irresistible as the sleeves cover part of her hand, only showing the small tips of her fingers. The head band tied into her hair would catch a beam of light and gleam as she stopped, just a few feet from the two waiting for her answer. [Chakra Pool: 25/25] [Stamina Pool: 25/25]

____________________________Sindoue Misuki_______ Konohagakure / Medic / Hokage (Sp.Jounin) / Sindoue Clan Misuki's eyes shifted to the side as she tried to catch a glimpse of the shinobi. She couldn't see anything but from the sound of the voice, it was a female. Her question made Misuki smirk a bit but it was quickly reverted back to its straight line. As the girl broke through her stealth and jumped, Misuki didn't move an inch from her position and simply remained there with her eyes focused on the memorial stone. 'Hm...she must have been trained well in stealth, her footwork is superb. I can almost not catch any of it...' Once the shinobi was close enough, Misuki decided to give the girl some form of response. Opening her mouth, Misuki spoke in a cynical tone of voice. "Lets just say being a sensor and of a sound base clan helps."
Raising her right hand, Misuki fingered her earphones for a bit before standing up and turning to face the girl. Looking at the girl, she was dressed rather cutely and her skin was rather pale compared to her dark purple hair. 'Such a contrast...' Offering the girl a small smile, Misuki tucked back a strand of her raven locks before speaking again. "Sindoue Misuki." Misuki had never been one for titles, as such, she didn't offer any information regarding her rank and title. If this girl becomes interested and questions further than Misuki will respond but if it was dropped, then Misuki will allow for her to figure it out on her own terms. Afterall, to bluntly announce oneself as both a Special Jounin and a Hokage was a bit much. That and Misuki knows that there's bound to be some 'wall' if her identity was revealed too soon to those who still haven't a clue as to who she was.

Miho's had a odd tone to it, she wasn't sure how to respond to someone who was meeting with a lost one, she wished she could go to Suna and see her father grave, but the villages were sealed, and it would be along time before she felt the heat of her home land. Miho looked to the other girl who was nodding along to some tune in her head set, what that tune was Miho had no clue but decided to ignore the girl for time being seeing as most of the time she did not like aloof personality's. Giving her attention back to Misuki for after a moment Miho tried to be helpful, and consul her for he lose, but there as a good chance it wouldn't come off that way. "Wanna fight? It is what I do when I am down." The offer was sincere and not hostile, but the tone was still rough and forceful, and Miho's dull, blank stair had a hard time changing to that of one of compassion. ____________________________Sindoue Misuki_______ Konohagakure / Medic / Hokage (Sp.Jounin) / Sindoue Clan When the girl spoke, Misuki couldn't help but feel that something was off about the 'tone' in which she spoke. Maybe it was just her but it sounded strangely strong yet soft like she was offering some sort of condolences or something. '...could it be that she saw me praying in front of the stone and just assumed...' Following her gaze to Setsuna it was apparent that the girl was once more lost in her own world. Ever since she started keeping tabs on her, Misuki was shell-shocked everytime at her inconsistantcy and unpredictablity. Releasing a sigh, Misuki turned her gaze back to Miho just as she spoke again.
At her sincere offer, Misuki couldn't help but produce a small smile. With a shake of her head 'no', Misuki proceded to explain why. "Thank you for the offer, but I'm alright. Though, I might take you up on that offer some other time." Her words weren't a lie, as Misuki was interested in seeing what other skills this girl poccessed. That and she needed to personally see each of her student's fighting styles if she was to properly give them guidence. "I'm about to leave actually but before that, may I get your name please?" Misuki had wanted to ask for the girl's rank but she herself had yet to offer hers. To ask for something she herself was no ready to release, that would be impudent. Left hand resting on her sound device, Misuki changed the beat once more to something more smoothing.
