At first I was all set to hate him, what with David Tennant leaving and Ianto being...gone *cries* and everything changing but I watched him and I found I didn't hate him. He just has that Doctor charm that makes me like him, and he's actually kind of a happy Doctor who doesn't have the pains of the past like Nine and Ten did (well except for maybe the Rory thing). He seems to be the Doctor starting fresh. I wish I could say the same for how I think Torchwood is going to go, but I won't go into that...
BTW, does anyone else think the Doctor is getting younger in his generations? Ten looked younger then Nine and now Eleven looks younger then Ten and the first Doctor looked older then most of the other Doctors? I keep thinking Twelve is going to be a child or something XD.

Haha, yes! I thought the same thing, except I've been thinking that ever since the ninth Doctor showed up. I bet Twelve will be a teenager or something. The master has gotten younger too.

they say that you never forget your first Doctor, then again I've seen 9th, 10th, and 11th, and I really like the newest one, he's quirky and fun, and you never know what he'll do. And that's why you need to run to keep up with him, and watch him carefully.

i have different caterogries for the Doctor
9th: B.A.
10th: Sexy hot wink
11th: cool and cute
but i have to say that i love Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor, a very good choice that they picked him. ^^ (in my option any ways)

I believe I am one of the few whose first doctor happened to be Eleven. I love his quirky attitude and sheer excitement and energy, plus that note of innocence and childishness that I've noticed Tennant has much less of. If not for him and his fez, I may not be here at all, or have watched the rest of Dr Who. ((I saw The Big Bang first.))
Still, Ten has grown on me enough that I can see why everyone is so up in arms about him being better. He was a very good actor and portrayed emotions unlike anything else I've ever seen, and under different writing he might have become my favorite over time. But his situation was just so sad and downbeat that his happy, hyper side had trouble shining.
All in all, Eleven will always be my first Doctor and I love him best, but all of them really shine as the character.

Ziggyboggydoo I don't like him that much.. He is so harsh on her and he doesn't have Davids spark to him.... Bowties are cool (sadly) I don't think David could burst out of a cake and look like its a perfectly normal thing to do xD

My favorite Doctor thus far is definitely 10, but I still have yet to see the older episodes (which I will get around to eventually). I was hesitant to watch series 5 starting with Matt Smith, but I did...it took me until the episode with Van Gogh to accept him, and oddly enough this last Christmas special (series 6) I think I like the best out of all of them so far.
