Abygale is very keen on thin figures. *Gestures to the clothing on display - slim-fitting robes and gorgeous cloaks, expertly designed and crafted* Devlin's is perfect for her style.. *Slides around the student in question, gesturing to his shoulders and hips in turn* Isn't he just perfect, Abby? *Smiling near Devlin's ear, leaned over briefly*

Truly. *She replied to Circi, giving another slight smile to Dev before she gestured for them to follow her into one of the back rooms*

I keep all my supplies here... You're free to have a look, feel around, so to speak.

*The room was massive, magically altered so that what should have been a small store room was now nearly a warehouse of sorts. Rolls upon massive rolls of fabrics, all colors and prints were stacked about a metal shelving system along the long expanse of walls, work benches and tables littered the room in neat rows of two(six in all) and a multitude of manikins sat about the room with finished and half-finished projects.*

Devlin shivered lightly, feeling odd as the Professor spoke so close to his ear and complimented him, called him perfect.

"Th-thank you." He said, looking back at Circinus slightly, his cheeks constantly flushed red. He was feeling rather more like Lynn at the moment than Dev, timid and easy to fluster.

Justus bit the inside of his cheek and pulled Devlin along, away from the Professor. He followed after Abygale and smiled at her, holding Devlin close. "Thank you, I think we will."

He headed away from her and straight over to the fabrics, his eyes already catching sight of a few colours and materials he knew would be favourable. Devlin was dragged along with him like a handbag, but the other boy didn't seem like he cared or was going to protest.

*Flounces after them, cheerfully oblivious; brandishes his wand and goes about disinfecting every last breath of air around himself as he walks, giving the large room a rather strong strawberry scent*

*Scowls at the wand waving and strawberry scent*

Devlin couldn't help but sneeze, turning his head to do it on the sleeve of his shirt, the strong scent tickling his nose.

He sniffed and scrunched up his nose, but then started feeling the fabrics, expression drawn down into a small frown as he considered them.

With the vast array of fabrics and supplies around him he couldn't help but forget his worries for a few moments, fascinated instead with the shop and the process of it all.

"I like this one." He said, touching a shimmery goldish-yellow fabric. It was as soft as anything he'd ever touched against his fingers. "This would be nice and light."

He bet it would also feel good against his skin. He really loved soft, cool fabrics, they made him feel so beautiful and happy.

Oooooh~

*Croons as he touches the material as well*

Maybe you could make a companion piece in addition to their design, Abby - something short and girlish, like a sun dress. heart

"For... why?" Devlin asked, looking over at Circinus. "... not just for wearing?"

Devlin didn't actually have any dresses that were 'just for wearing.' They were all for shoots, and the only time he wore them usually, unless he was trying them on or Justus insisted he put one on for whatever reason.

I have that same fabric with a 'flat' shade of that color...no sheen so it won't affect the jewelry.

*Arches an eyebrow at Circi before giving a casual shrug*

I believe we've already discussed the terms of my services to you. If he's willing to sit still for two fittings then I don't see a problem..

Simple styles, honestly.

Maybe I'm presuming too much, but don't you.. occasionally wear such things just because you're alone and you can? *Glances at Devlin and studies him for a moment* Or is it purely for photography?

"I..." Devlin blinked at Circinus, and slowly shook his head. "Not really, I guess. I'm always too...... afraid of getting caught. Sometimes I do at Justus' house... but usually just to try on the dresses so he can see how I move in them."

Justus watched Circinus, unable to help but feel a twinge of jealousy at the confused yet awed tone in Devlin's voice. Sure, he had, at times, had Devlin put on a dress because he could tell the other boy was feeling down and that it would cheer him up. Devlin hardly ever initiated or asked to wear one unless it was for a shoot or something related to a shoot. But he'd never...

.. never thought to get him a dress just for him. Never thought Devlin didn't think the dresses they had still were his, even though they used them for shoots as well. Never thought something like that would mean a lot to Devlin.

"He can sit for two fittings." Justus said primly, and turned to Abygale. "And that sounds fine."

He set the box on a nearby table and pulled the top off, revealing the jewelry inside. It was a strange yet elegant design, swoop-y but meant to be worn higher on the neck, like some sort of loose Egyptian choker. The earrings of course matched, all shining reddish and sparkling and gold. "Do whatever else you want in the way of fabrics. I'm sure it will be wonderful."

He tried to say this as sincerely as possible, not wanting to come off as sarcastic when he really didn't mean to. He was just becoming a little pissy at himself for never realizing Devlin was thinking that way.

We must change that, Devlin. *Smiles fondly* You're obviously comfortable in clothes like this.. *pets the fabric* In your situation, discretion is important, of course, but so is expressing yourself.
