The King wasn't happy about this! He tries to place GBL on his side so he can boot his spine a few times!

No doubt that GBL could do much at the moment. He was kicked in the spine a couple of times before finally managing to roll himself away.

Kartwright smirked with each kick, the grin widening after each hit, he was enjoying dishing-out the punishment!
He follows GBL as he rolls! He tries to lift him to his feet and hit him with a back-breaker!

GBL was lifted, and it was unfortunate on his behalf that he was hit with the backbreaker. He landed on the mat and turned himself over, grasping his back.

The King then attempts another cover, trying to keep a constant pressure on GBLs spine!

Not the one to give up, GBL managed another pin escape at two. He was getting frustrated with himself due to the two close calls, already.

He lifts him up and attempts a back suplex bridge!

Feeling himself being lifted up, GBL would attempt to flip over him and land on his feet rather than take the suplex. Unfortunately, he wouldn't be able to keep on his feet as the pain shot up his spine. He stumbled back and ended up against the ropes.

GBL escapes! Kartwright quickly turns around anticipating retaliation, but instead he sees GBL lying on the ropes!
For even daring to escape, The King attempts to clothesline GBL over the ropes, to the outside!

GBL watched Kart make his run toward him, and he held a feeling that he was going to be sent over. With his back how it was at the moment, he couldn't afford that. For a counter, he stepped to the side to grab the back of Kart's head to push him against the ropes. With his own spin from that push, he would finish his rotation by aiming his Roaring Elbow to Kart upon his bouncing off the ropes.

GBL sidesteps The King, who ends up clotheslining the invisible man to the outside from the looks of it!
Kart can then feel his head being grabbed from behind! He is turned around and is struck by an elbow that drops him to the mat!

After the elbow hit, GBL went against the ropes before collapsing to his side. His hand went across his back as he kicked at the mat, frustrated in his own pain. There was no way he could cover up in time, so he focused on trying to pick himself back up.

The King awakens and begins to crawl to the opposite ropes so that he can pull himself up too. He shakes his head and holds his jaw from time to time.

5 minutes later.
GBL went for a roaring elbow, but as he was spinning Kart went for a school boy catching GBL off guard. The ref went for the count and Kart pulled the tights of GBL.
One!
Two!
Three!
The bell rang as Kart slide out of the ring. The crowd was stunned as we have a new Intercontinental Champion. No one was really expecting this as GBL has been knocking people out left and right with that Elbow. Kart clutched the title while smiling that he outsmart GBL.
