HippiePeaceLover Personaly,I believe In Global Warming. I believe Global Warming started with the Industrial Revolution,With all the coal,oil,etc.But got worse over the years with cars running on gasoline,Air Polution,etc. Even If you don't believe in Global Warming you still need to protect the enviroment because we only have one earth and thats all were going to get. My opinion about the whole climate change thing... People try to push their opinions on me while i remain neutral on the IZ GLOBAL WARMINGZ REALZ?! topic.
I care about the planet a lot, and feel that we should take care of it. Reducing what you consume and consume more wisely, reuse what you do, and recycle once its worn beyond beleif/no longer useable.
Thing is, people who either do or don't beleive in global warming in real life have a tendency to try to push their beleifs on me. What will get ANYONE to shut up about climate change is to simply say "I don't know if global warming/climate change is real or not, and quite frankly, if it does or not, i don't give a damn. What DOES matter is why are we as a species not taking care of the planet in general and harming it as little as possible in living our lives?"
That will end any debate and get people liekly start caring about the planet, even if it dosen't mean they beleive in climate change or whatever.
IMO thats the best posiotion to take on it because theres no defensive or fear mongering.
But that's all my opinion there, I have enough to do to defend my veganism as it is, i don't have time for arguments over glowbal warming. xD

jedinightwing TrutherMay your sig is why i made this thread lol. i need to get some up to date links though, these are all old ones from my favorites list. haha...It's good to know i've influenced someone. I think one notable person on this subject is Lord Christopher Monckton. He is on top of this subject. and that said, I will join the cause and become a pirate for real. *Commandeers a ship o' her majesty's fleet*AVAST YE! Also, Climate Gate is a topic EVERYONE should look into. It's one of those topics that only takes one quick google search. If people are too lazy to type 2 words into google...well, i think my piratical arse might 'ave ta keelhaul em. pirate oooh a pirate hua that would be awesome but well need a show on this topic i have this highly specific view the politics of it stink....period. however we should really not rely on anything like coal or oil. alternate techology needs a fair playing field. and do away with these mega grids there just loseing power through excessive distance, these things should stay on smaller scales casue our nation should not be like X-mas lights. oh and ice is an expanded form of water. its why roads crack when they freeze. even if the icecaps melt thered be less space taken by the water. ill come back agian if i think of anything else

Global warming is real in some point of Earth's life time.Its not overexagerated like Al Gore's explanation though.I just use my energy wisely because I don't want a high light bill,or electricty bill.

The climate is changing is nothing new. It always does. So is it like to live on a planet that is full of life. In contrast to the situation here on earth there are many planets and moons, even in our own solar system, which is completely dead. There is no reason to be afraid. Do not replace the joy of anxiety. Replace these 'prophets of doom' against anyone. It may sound a bit naive, that "everything is peace and joy". No, not really. There are more people who are starving to death than those who die in natural disasters.

Seriously? its still stupid, i live in alabama and i missed a whole week of school cause of snow, the last time that happend was in the 90s.. so :L Weather patterns are erratic and hard to read at the best of times, freaks of nature happen constantly. All I know is that it's ******** been getting hotter where I live every year. Also be happy it snows, I've seen snow once in my life for 5 minutes.

Actually, it being colder doesn't mean anything at all. Those are the winds coming from the bubble in the north hemisphere. Remember all those cold temperatures we got last year? The bubble kinda popped and sent rushing winds down on us. So, it snowed when it combined with our precipitation.
The same is pretty much happening this year. Northern winds are coming down on us.

All kinds of theories will be created. A new one just depends what you pay a scientist for. Wanna pay a scientist to prove or disprove global warming? Either way, you will get a theory or two.
