"From what saw anyone on the train and within a 20 foot radius were either injured or killed. My bet is that it was the work of the union," said Tank. He took the radio from his belt and called the base for help getting everything cleaned up.

"damn, we really need to get someone out here right now, and this place needs to closed down ." valens took his own radio out and sent the message "we...are..not..alone" seconds later federation mechs shot through the sky at rocket speeds.
An investigation team was sent out to search for evidence the criminal might of left behind. along with investigators, medics were also dispatched to help the injured people. ...."Lt. lets see if anyone above ground saw anything."

"Yes sir," Tank said turning away from the captain and heading toward the stairs. Since he didn't know where the person had went he started asking around. After an hour passed he still had no leads and went to report back to the captain. " Sir I couldn't find anything. No one noticed anything suspicious so we're gonna be a while on this one."

valen yawned "dont mind me i was up late again.....Lt. lets call a meeting." he said then whistled for a cab. "come on" valen got in and waited for tank.

Tank followed Valen into the cab and give the driver money and told him to take them to the military base. "I never thought that we'd get bombed around here. I mean we farther inland and no where near any of the Union's borders. Then again I suppose it was only a matter of time."

"yeh it really was 'just a matter time' valen noticed the cab driver was going the wrong way "hey! cab driver! the driver didnt respond he just kept going "Lt. we need to jump out now..valen put his hand on the door handle then opened and rolled out with tank. The cab exploded a few seconds later.
"Lt. someone is out to get us...."

"I agree but I have two questions: who and why? Whatever the reason we've got stop them," said Tank as he stood up and brushed himself off. Using his radio he called. "This is Lt.Tank. Captain Valen would like to call a meeting. A bit more importantly though someone is out to kill the Capt. and me."

after walking for a bit they reached the base and headed inside
"it seems like everyone is ready to meet" he told the Lt.
valen sat down in a chair and waiting for the 5 star general to appear. all of a sudden a private burst through yelling the General is dead!! valen quickly took charge of the meeting
"everyone listen!.. the Union is attacking without relent and it seems that we have spies in our midst because the general couldnt of been killed by a union soldier unless he passed himself off as one of us!! Im certain that the culprit is still in the base... valen then ordered the base to be locked. No one gets in and no one gets out.

"2nd Lt. get a squad of men and start searching," Tank ordered. He took out his radio and sent a warning across the whole base. "Captain should we deploy a mech unit? It seems like the Union might be planning to invade soon."

valen heard the Lt. "it would be a good idea to get ready for an attack.... he pondered a thought for a second then ordered the remaining mech to guard the the cities. 'we dont need anymore people dying.. he siad quietly then headed for the hangar.

"Yes sir." Tank left the room and made his way toward the mech hangar. He saw the Frontier XT and thought, ' I didn't think I'd see combat with you again for a while.' "Sgt. prep my mech for combat." A few minutes later Tank was piloting his mech outside of the base fully armed.

valen was also in his mech and awaiting the arrival of the union mechs. then call came true from one of the privates "COMMANDER WE HAVE SEARCHED AND FOUND NOTHING EVERYONE TOOK A LIE DETECToR TEST AND PASSED over- Valen sighed "okay,reopen the base..."
he ordered then spotted tank and headed towards him

A siren went off in the Union space travel unit 1. A Voice went off saying "General Karth, please deploy a squad and yourself to reconsence mission of the Federation main headquarters. You are to leave immidiately!"
The Siren had woke Karth up from his nap in his bead. he whined alittle. "ugh... I always have to do this.... Damn, being the best sure has it's downsides..." he got up, put his Union Black uniform on and walked out his room. ((He lives in the living quarters on Space travel unit 1)) He turned on his communitactor watch. " Attention Bravo commpany Screamin eagles, 5th platoon, 3 squad, please report to the Mech garage, get ready to head out."
all at once the members who were being commanded all at once said "Roger that!"
Karth had put the code in for the Mech storage ficility to put out his mech. Karth got inside of it. he turned it on. the flashing lights and gizmos all turned on. "Good morning Sir Karth" the automated voice had said. "I have already revieved the message of your reconosence mission and have acurately found the weather for the area. high winds, but still sunny.." "whatever...." he said. He took a sip of his coffee. and walked to the hanger bay. Next to him was 5 mechas all the same J6-77 models. all with the same paint scheme. "Ok men its just a reconosence mission so dont get to hyped up, just because you are in my command doesnt make you that special. Lets head out, and remember, be sneeky, we are not looking for a fight right now, but have any weapons at ready."
he flew out of the hanger bay, and out to the icey coldness of space.
