Dear Diary,
Ayden... Came over to our house last week. He didn't say much, but he was without his mother. He didn't even use the front door... I believed he found where Elana's room was located, and came in through the window by means of flight.
At first, I thought he missed Elana badly and came over for a visit, and thus I called his home. Nobody picked up the phone, and I though everyone was out. However, he told me he was staying for a few days, and that he had his mother's permission to do so.
I didn't suspect anything, until he stayed on for a week. Today marks his first week here... I managed to ask around, and realised that his guardian had dissapeared. When I broke the news to him, Ayden seemed to have no visible reaction, and Elana seemed rather protective of him...
I wonder what's going on.

Dear Diary,
I found out what happened to Ayden's guardian... Or rather, his ex-guardian. Now it all makes sense... The sudden stay-over, Elana's over-protective nature during this time, and why there was nobody answering the phone in Ayden's house.
She's gone. By that, I meant that she no longer exist in this world, but is instead dead. Ayden told me that somehow, he had accidentally 'killed' her by absorbing her life essence, or something like that. I can't recall much from the chat we had last night. I'm really lost as to what to do now... Elana seem to like having Ayden around, but I have a feeling that he'll need a new home...
A home to call his own.
I can see that he's deeply hurt. To have 'killed' his own mother, even if it was accidental, must had scarred him for life. He seems to be withdrawn from all of the other children, keeping close to Elana all day and talking only to her. Other then the chat we had last night, all he could say were 'Thanks' and 'Sorry'.
I'll try to ask around tomorrow. Maybe I can find him a good home.
