The rock collided square with the back of his head, dangerously close to the place Virgo had first hit upon her appearance. The pain laced through him before he slipped off the girl, having lost his bearings and balance. His damaged hand came up to grip the side of his head in an attempt to get everything around him to stop spinning.
To no avail however.
The pain throbbed through him, and soon enough, nausea and fatigue, coupled with with the most recent hit to his head were too much. Rhodizite collapsed on the ground, groaning softly; he wouldn't be hurting anyone anytime soon, it seemed.

There wasn't really much urgency, compared to before. Virgo might have laid there, straining against the chain until Rho had her starseed in hand. But there was a sudden invasion of Rock to the back of the lieutenant's head. He fell sideways and she was quick to disentangle herself from his weapon. There would be interesting bruises tomorrow to deal with--
If Tony hadn't been there, bleeding, she would have killed the Negaverse officer. But it was the fair-haired man's luck that the librarian was there, and that Virgo placed Tony's welfare now to long-range planning. She got to her feet and practically bolted the short distance to Tony. He was much taller than she was, but she was many times stronger than she had to be for this. It was her turn to have an adrenaline rush as she gathered the librarian up--"Tu es bien, tu es bien"--and then sprinted away.

She'd watched them in silence, having arrived on the scene far too late to assist her friend. By the time she appeared from the shadows, the young senshi had made off with her civilian companion, leaving the lieutenant helpless and limp on the asphalt.
Captain Nealite stood there, for a moment, looming over the motionless form of Lieutenant Rhodizite. Arms rose to fold themselves up across her chest and she glanced up to watch the fleeing forms of the senshi and older man. It was only after their silhouettes disappeared from around the street corner that her arms unfolded themselves and she knelt down, one gloved hand reaching down to feel for a pulse.
Shaking her head, she muttered under her breath before moving both hands out to reach beneath his arms. The smaller woman groaned her displeasure at the older man's weight, but she managed to lift him up, steadying his body with her own.
Within seconds both figures were gone, leaving nothing in their wake but a red stain on the pavement.
