 It had been a long night as Rune kept pace with Rene easily, instead of resting they were trying to head out to visit family members. Rene's idea of course but he was happy to follow with what she wanted, with in reason of course. He thought with an inward chuckle. " Are we almost there dear? We shouldn't stay up in the air to long, we don't want to exhaust ourselves. The sun is almost rising." He turned from watching her to look ahead, the sun was just peeking over the freshly grassed earth.

 Caelius was walking along with his friend and kind of herd mate, though he wasn't totally sure why the other stallion had felt the need to join him on his trip. But it was fine, Cael would go where he was going and Ab would carry on to wherever he was headed. Looking over at the green male who was still chuckling over the story Cael had told him. "Its not like you would have done differently if you found a foal lost in the woods." Smiling despite himself, finding he couldn't feel embarrassed for what he had done, it had been a good day and playing with the young filly had made his day. Which was why he was finally keeping his promise to visit, though he wondered how much she had changed in the time since he had seen her.  Abloec couldn't help chuckling, though it was more from the fact that he had trouble imagining his companion as a defender of the realm, though he could easily imagine him playing some fairy story out with a foal to bring smiles. Looking over at the pink male having gotten to know how much of a heart of gold he had under all those clouds. "Well sir knight, I must agree, anything must be done to keep fair maidens from tears." Smiling, knowing he would do little different. Looking round as the pair emerge into the herd territory, thinking he would stay long enough to be civil and then be on his way towards the coast. Looking back at Cael who was looking round to see if he could find Chandra.

 Zeda was layed under a tree, looking out at all the other members in the herd. Even though she had been here for some time now, she still wanted nothing to do with any of them. Joining this herd was for her protection and she had no interest in anything else. She watched them all go about there business. Do there own thing. As she laid hidden in the shadows. Long black and purple hair resting at the side of her neck. Youngsters. She stood up and wondered into the land some more, deciding to go for something to drink. She was tired and more so she was home sick, unlike most people, her home had legs and it seemed that she was not with him long anymore. She sighed and leaned down to take a drink, wondering why this was a good idea again, she was always so uncomfortable around large groups of people...

((I lied Dixie muahahah......!!))Kimi was intent on her hawk prey that she neglected to see the bat that seemed to come out of now where and stike her. Her wing crumpled under the force and she lost all balance and control for a moment. Losing alititude before catching herself again and continuing her pursuit. For the moment it seemed her attacker had disappeared, and that her prey was flying quickly away from her.
Growling deep in her throat she flapped her wings as quickly as she could after Reeva. ------------------------------ Maion looked to his daughter and nodded softly, "Go play. You deserve it." A wide grin was peeled upon his face as he walked towards his mate, Sengdroma. It sometimes suprised him that everytime he saw his mate she seemed even more beautiful. Her smile was enough to melt the ice from anyones heart and he felt he was the luckiest creature alive. Chandra beamed at her father and then playfully skipped away, the first person she saw was her brother Mal. "Hello stranger." She said with a wide smile on her face. Although there was a clear difference between them Chandra still felt a deep connection with him. While she had been learning to fly he had been learning to fight, part of Chandra wanted to do so too one day but she had decided she would prefer to be a gentiler soul and only learn to defend herself.
She was about to say more to Mal when she heard someone new entering the herd lands, instinctively she turned her head towards the new comers. There where two. And although she hadn't seen one of them for a long time she knew him straight away. "Cael?" She called, and in her mind she though - my childhoof knight has returned.New players ENTER: Renesme Carlie Cullen 
Renesme tucked in her wings on one side as she rubbed against her mate Rune, she loved him with all her heart and although he was a member of the allie herd - Padmapani - he would often return to the Miakoda herd with her. They had granted her a home when she had first returned to these lands after childhood and although she had found love she couldn't just forget them.
"I know." She said as she nuzzled him a little and opened her wings wide again, the fact that both of them knew was that her little wings had never been as strong as his two mighty ones. They where nearly there, she could almost sence the tranquil lake, the chatter and playful nature of the herd. She longed for it. "Lets land then." She beamed at him and started to lower her flight path towards the earth once more.

LeLu flew as fast as she could, her small body just barely able to catch up. Reeva was almost to the herd now, just one more move..... She beat her small wings as hard as she could, she got just close enough to bite and take hold of the eagle's tail feathers. This could be, a deadly mistake. "Just distract her, Lelu....just a moment longer..." she thought to herself, her small heart pounding away in fear. ---------------------------------------------- Reeva's wings beat as fast and as hard as she could make them, she was thankful for her small bat friend that had given her just a moment's time to think. Quickly, she turned her body sharply and dove for the herd. "Danger! Danger! Danger!" she squawked as she dove for the safety of her herd. She could only hope that small Lelu would be able to make it safely as well. Barreling down towards where her friend Sengdroma lay, she yelled out to her as her wings spread to come to a landing. "Sengdroma, it's Kimi! She's here!" the small hawk quickly made her way over to Sengdroma and Maion, trying to catch her breath. ---------------------------------------------- Sengdroma's ears perked and her head shot up as she could hear the cries of her dear friend through the night skies, her eyes searched until she saw the bright colored hawk heading her way. "Danger?" she whispered to Maion, who had been laying at her side. She watched as Reeva neared, her heart began to beat wildly when she mentioned Maion's sister. She was back...and she'd be back for blood this time. Sengdroma knew she had to get her herd to safety. ---------------------------------------------- Nos continued to wait, his golden eyes peering out from the bushes. Damned female had blown their cover... But at least they still thought she was alone. He waited patiently for the others in the herd to react. It would be easier to target his prey when the herd was in confusion. Right now they were too alert...too aloof. Once their leader told them of danger, they would panic and spread... Or so the thought. A growl escaped his throat out of excitement, he didnt' realize it, it could give him away...

Malchediel snorted in seeing his sister Chandra's reaction to the cerynei stallion approaching. "Tell him that if he doesn't treat you right I'll kick his teeth out," he muttered softly enough so that only Chandra could hear. Though Mal might sometimes feel separated from his angeni sisters he certainly loved them and was going to keep a close eye on any of their mates.
Some movement caught his eye. Mal turned to see Reeva diving towards his parents in a hurry. On the breeze he heard her voice shrieking, though the words were inaudible at this distance. "Hey Chandra..." he said slowly. "What do you think that is about?"

Rune let out a quiet hum of agreement with enjoying the gentle nuzzle Rene gave him. "Alright, landing sounds like a good plan." That being said he dove downward, all the while keeping his eye on Rene. He was just into landing when further paniced noises were heard in the distance. Rune froze, a frown upon his face. "Do you hear that love? That doesn't sound good." Rune moved infront of his beloved protectively just incase.

Caelius looks around hearing his name, giving his grinning friend a subtle shove, hoping he will shut up rather than keep laughing. Cael liked the stallion, his sense of fun was refreshing and he was pleasnt to be around but sometimes like now he wanted to keep walking. Smiling as he sees Chan, able to recognise her easily, giving her a formal courtly bow and a smile, happy to see her, surprised at how much she had grown. "As promised lady Chan." Pleased she was doing well, though his attention was soon snatched by the noise coming from the sky, tilting his head seeing the hawk coming down fast. Abloec went from laughing to grinning, looking over at the young female that called to his friend. She was pretty, though from what he had grown to know of Cael he hadn't been thinking anything like that. The other stallion could be a little blind about some things, but there was nothing wrong in that. Looking up his smile fading hearing the hawks crys, not sure what was going on but something about the sound didn't bode well. Looking over at Cael, both their expression more serious now, not sue if this would mean that they would be asked to leave now or something else. Not prone to melodrama Ab turns enough so he could see what had been behind them, rationalising the move as he makes it, telling himself that its just him being cautious.

Chandra giggled at Mal and nudged him playfully on the shoulder, she loved her father and brother but sometimes all they saw was a possible threat to her and Io's 'honor'. She wouldn't have them any other way but sometimes it made being friends with stallions young or old very difficult. Whispering back to her brother in a tone that no one else but him could hear she said, "Don't worry Mal, he is just a friend." She gave him a wide grin as she focused on Cael and his companion. He was pretty looking, but what held her attention was the horns upon his back and the thing upon his back that seemed linked with beads and strings. Interesting. She titled her head a little as if trying to get a better look at them both. "Who is...." she froze as another sound cuaght her attention.
Her brothers near frantic words told her that she wasn't imagining it -something was wrong. "I dunno Mal.... sounds like Reeva." She turned towards their parents and sure enough there was her mothers familar appearing very upset. Panic filled her eyes as she looked to Cael, the stranger and then back to her brother. "Danger?" Her mind was fumbling with ideas and notions but she had no idea why anyone would want to attack the Miakoda herd and their friends, after all of all the herds they where peaceful and gentle. Hesitating she spoke, but this time it wasn't directed at anyone in particular. "Should..... should.... we go see what's...." she gulped, "happening?"------------------------- Maion's whole body tensed to attention as Reeva spoke. He growled in anger, "Kimi." Why had she come? Usually their encounters took place away from the herd, she had never before been this aggressive towards them mainly because there were so many of them. Yet she was here.... "It seems so Moon." He spoke as his mate looked for confirmation, part of him knew she wanted him to tell her it wasn't true but he couldn't lie to her. Especially if there really was danger. Standing to all four hooves in one sleek graceful movement he scanned the area in an effort to locate all the herd. Chandra and Mal stood together with two others, one he recognised as Cael Chandra's friend the other as a stallion he met once a long time ago. Zeda seemed to be hiding in her usual loner fashion. From the forest he could make out Renesme and her mate Rune, and to their left in the sky there seemed to be Haishan and Tuli -most likely coming to visit Sengdroma. It would mean more to protect but also more to help fight and protect if it was needed. Io was no where to be seen and his heart began to panic. "Io?" He asked turning back towards his mate, if she had gone somewhere it was likely her mother would know. Closing his eyes to compose himself he said, "What do you order Alpha?" As her guardian he would die to protect her and any herd member or guest to their land. Part of him feared that his time had come, that death was already whispering to him. ------------------------- Kimi snapped and snarled as Reeva escaped her to warn that pathetic brother of hers. How dare that hawk have the courage to fight against her. Did they not know what she was? Who she was? She was a pure Skinwalker, a creature to be feared beyond all others. And with 'Nos she would make them see that once and for all before their blood ran cold before her.
All too soon her thoughts were stolen from her as that annoying little rat of a bat bit her tail- it didn't hurt because it was only feather that she grabbed but it caused Kimi to lose her balance and start to plummet to the ground. Rolling in an effort to catch herself and dislodge her foe she moved faster and faster towards the ground.
Towards her prey.....------------------------- ((Since Sparrow has quit I will have Renesme leave this RP with Rune.. she will go get Scythe though first when Sengdroma orders it.)) Renesme looked to Rune, it seemed he had heard it too. Tugging on his mane she felt an utter selfishness run through her. She wanted to leave so that her and Rune would be safe, but she couldn't just leave her herd. "Lets go Rune." Her eyes caught hold of Maions as he scanned the area. Officially Renesme was part of the Miakoda herd, she had joined as a foal once she returned to these lands. Back then she never believed she would meet the stallion beside her ever again. But she did. Making her believe that sometimes things could never be altered or changed. Some things had to happen.
Nuzzling her mates neck in an effort to steal some comfort she turned and began running towards her Alpha and guardian.
After a long run her breath came heavy and hard. "What do you order." She spoke quickly, unaware that her words echoed those of the guardian Maion. Haishan walked towards his mate, she was the only one he had ever been again to talk to with such ease and love that his heart swelled at being so close to her. She had wanted to visit her sister, Sengdroma, and so he would indulge her and travel to the Miakoda herd. Part of him respected the herd, their guardian was one that demanded nothing less. Yet another part always feared that entering their lands would end up with him being injured.
Turning to Tuli he smiled, never speaking of his fears. "We're not far now my darling." Bumping softly into her side simply so he could feel her heat, feel her burn his skin as she always did. Branded in the best of ways.
It didn't take long for them to break the tree line and see the figures that made up the now familar herd, but the instant he did his body tensed. He looked to Tuli, he could sence something wrong and in that instant was torn. He needed to protect his mate, but at the same time he could not willingly leave innocents in danger, especially since their three newest additions were only just teens.
A tear flowed from his eye. He would have to do something that went against his very being. He would put Tuli in harms way so that he could help protect her and her sister's herd. "Something is wrong." He said at last, he eyes never leaving her delicate mist coloured features. He was scared that if he blinked she would disappear. After another long instant he spoke again, "I have to help them Tuli." And it broke his heart.((Ok, since Sparrow and Tebiki have pulled out of the RP the order is now as follows. Faid >> Sya >> Dixie >> Ron, this means Ron will now tag Faid. Thanks guys. Enjoy!))

LeLu had done her job, she quickly tucked her wings and twirled down at lightening speed towards Reeva and the leaders of the herd. She knew she could hide quickly in their cover. Tucking her wings in tight she made like a bullet for Maion's locks, only stopping when she bumped into Elijah. "Oh, sorry, Elijah!" she said, quite out of breath then sprawling out on Elijah's side, ------------------------------------------- Sengdroma quickly made her way to her hooves, looking around taking count of her members. She spotted some coming in, some in their normal places, then heard her mate question of one of their daughters. "Io!" she called out into the dark, "Io, quickly!" she continued to search the area for their missing daughter. Turning back to Maion for a moment, she didn't hesitate to answer his question, "Gather everyone quickly. We will take the children and the few non fighters to Father's lands." She nickered loudly, calling all of the herd members to gather. "Everyone, everyone quick!" she lowered her voice so that Maion was the only one who could hear, "Gather our fighters... we will need to you to protect the herd from the back... We dont' need Kimi following the trail." Sengdroma's thoughts were whirling inside her head, what had Kimi been thinking? Her eyes fell on Renesme and Rune. She leaned over to Maion, "Have Renesme and Rune fly ahead to warn Scythe. Rune would know the way better than anyone to his grandparents...." ------------------------------------------- (Enter Io) Io's ears flickered as she heard her mother's call in the distance. She had been a bit off, stareing at the stars over head and thinking of the stallion she had met. Her mother's plea sounded urgent though, breaking her from her thoughts. She nickered a response, "Coming!" she yelled and began to run back to her herd, wonder just what was going on. As she topped the small hillside she saw her herd gathering at an unusual pace. Something was wrong... ------------------------------------------- (enter Tuli) Tuli laughed and nuzzled Haishan, she was so happy that she had found a stallion to call her own. She loved him immensely and found joy in even the silliest of things with him. She looked over to Haishan and nuzzled into his white mane only for a moment before she felt his body tense. Her head shot up in an alert stance. "I"m afraid you are right..." she whispered to Haishan. Indeed, something was wrong here... Her eyes searched for her sister, as soon as she spotted her coat she took off in a trot to find out what was going on. ------------------------------------------- (Enter Scythe. Ron and I are tieing in a rp we just finished into this rp. Scythe has just announced to the herd that Hayagriva will be taking his place as protector of the herd in the near future. Scythe was on his way to the Miakoda to invite them to a celebration in Haya's honor.) Scythe was about halfway to his daughter's herd. The night sky was bright, the moon and stars shining in all their brilliance. Luckily the lands of Scythe's herd were above the lake, he could glide the majority of the way to Sengdroma and her herd. His large wings spanned out, he was enjoying the silence and thinking of his son and how proud he was that he was stepping up to the responsibilities offered him.

"I'm going to see what's going on," said Malchediel. He could hear his mother shouting for their final sister. Something was definitely wrong. Malchediel could read the tension in the bodies of his parents and the soquili gathered around them. The beating of his heart quickened. His thoughts of teasing his sister were gone.
"I wonder what it is," he muttered before trotting up to his mother's side. "Mom, what's wrong?" he asked.

Cael smiled as she looked at his companion, knowing how unusual he seemed, but then he had gotten used to his friend so hadn't thought about it. Opening his mouth to introduce them as she started to ask, not getting that far as her question died on her lips. Watching as her smile vanishes and the scared look replaces it. Looking round to Abloec as he bumps him. "I think there is trouble." Abloec having turned so that, he was watching their back, picking up on the tension faster than his friend, giving him a little bump, nodding in agreement. "Yes I think your right, question is do you want to stay and see if we can help? But if we do there might not be any leaving afterwards." Not sure what the danger was but something was making him think that if they stayed there would be no leaving till the danger had passed. "Its your call." Not sure he could see his friend cutting and running if there was trouble.Cael nods looking back over at Chan and the others. "I cant leave them if there is trouble..." Not sure if he would be of any real help but there was strength in numbers so 2 more couldn't really hurt. Starting to walk towards Chan and her companion, that he was guessing was her brother or other relation. Ab nods happy to stick around and help, keeping his eyes behind them as they start to move over to the others, not sure what was bothering him but something was putting his fir on end.
