The girl smiled sadly, looking down at the ground, "I wish my mums..would be around me more.." she whispered. As much as Moira loved exploring, meeting new people and making friends, she was still just a little girl. A little girl who was lacking something vital and something that would really be easy for her considering she had two mothers, a grand mother, grand father, and an uncle and his boyfriend... and three siblings.

"Well maybe you should invite them apple picking." Ask said while carting his basket back to the ladder. "Come on, help me pick more apples."

"T-they too busy wif brudders and seester...." Moira sighs a little before looking up at the boy, just wanting to talk to him more for some reason. "I has two brudders and a seester... so mums always busy." she says quietly, a little quietly, which was odd for her.
Maybe all her adventures were just to find someone who would listen to her.

"Wow, you have a big family. I have one Mom and her friends who're my 'aunts'. Why do you have two moms? Do you like your siblings?" He asked and tossed her an apple. "Come on up the ladder."

"I-I dunno..why I has two mums.. I just has two.. an I only liek my brudder Loosian.. but mummas hate uncle ..." She says before flinching a little before catching the apple and making her way up the ladder, apple in one hand. "Noones realleh listened to me.. 'sides from you.."

"Well that's silly, you clearly have stuff to say. I don't really tend to have much to say, so I like listening." Ask commented and began filling his basket again. "At least you have one brother that's ok."

"It's 'cause noone at home lissens to me.. and diawy doesnt work like talkin does.." Moira states before looking up at the boy and then to the tree, soon helping him fill the basket with the fresh apples, resisting the urge to eat one again. They were pretty delicious.

"That's too bad they don't listen, Mom says that's really impolite." Ask continued filling the basket but paused to show Moira a really pretty apple. "Look how pretty this one is."

Looking up at the apple, she stared at it, "Pretty... what.. what is pretty?" she asked, looking at the apple with a confused look. Moira couldn't remember if she had heard or used the word before but either way, she didn't understand what it meant.

"Well 'pretty' is similar to 'beautiful' it means that something is pleasing to look at." Ask told her and climbed onto a tree limb, balancing himself with his wings.

"Pleasing to look at.." Moira repeated what he had said, staring at the apple before looking back up at the boy, "Can pretty descriiibee flavur?" She asks, blinking her eyes slowly and tilting her head so she seemed rather cute.

Ask gave the cutey a smile. "No, 'pretty' refers to the sight of things whether actions or just objects or people. The adjectives that describe taste positively are things like: tasty, delicious, scrumptious, mouth watering and yummy." He sounded like Shiny when she got going on proper writing. Some of his first books after he got to a certain reading and writing level were dictionaries and thesauruses.

The girl nodded, returning her gaze to the apple and staring at it for quite awhile. "So.. pretty is fer looks..and yummy is for flavurs?" She asks, wanting to make sure that she got everything down right. Moira would read more if she wasn't out exploring, then again most of her books would probably consist of cook books and not much else.

"I think it looks pretty delicious." Moira smiles a little before laughing, "Dat counts, right?" She asks with a grin. It had been awhile since she had so much fun, more so with a stranger.
