Please put this as your status if you know or are related to someone killed on Alderaan when it was obliterated by the Death Star. My wish is that people will understand that the Empire is a band of murdering scum. The Rebel Alliance wants only to bring peace to the galaxy, but the evil Empire continues to kill innocent civilians. 93% won't copy/paste this.

CH1YO The freedom of speech and of the presses requires that there is some useful intended communication; entertainment media are specifically not that. CH1YO" Things can be done for the sake of personal gratification too, these things should not be protected and some are indeed criminal. CH1YO Honney Boy You've stated quite clearly in your own words that you think self gratification is amoral, possibly even criminal. No. I have said no such thing. CH1YO There are no contradictions. CH1YO All persons act coherently; in accordance with their style of life. All persons act to move toward the realisation of their fictional final goal; the impetus is afforded for through the masculine protest. CH1YO Honney Boy CH1YO Honney Boy CH1YO Honney Boy Yet another fine response, but you are once again not answering the question. Does insanity exist, and do clearly self destructive actions exist? You're saying they don't by saying that people always act with a coherent goal that fits with there life style. Of course they exist, hence why people evidently do them. So can they, like say everyone else is, be making coherent choices that fit with the life style that they would choose for themselves? One develops a style of life rather than choosing it but you are correct otherwise. So the insane are making coherent choices? Even if it's something they know they don't want to do? They do want to do it; that's why they decide to do so. CH1YO Honney Boy You seem to be missing the part where they can't function as a sane person can. Whyever not? CH1YO Honney Boy No it doesn't. You're trying to force your world view to fit everyone. I have limited other recourse. Honney Boy People who can't make the same choices you can because they cannot think in the same way that you do will not make choices in the same way you do. Wrong. People who think differently from me will make different choices. There is no reason that the process should be any different. CH1YO Perception>thought>decision>action. That is the process. CH1YO There are no contradictions. CH1YO I should note that I am not meaning to come across as judgemental in tone but personal example warrants such an approach. CH1YO I'm not judging, that is not proper CH1YO Claiming an exalted position is not good for you, I cannot encourage you to do so. CH1YO You act in accordance with your style of life towards a goal of imagined personal superiority. It would be naive to assume that that should be your best interest. CH1YO I have seen no evidence that you make decisions using some magic process, if there was such evidence I would likely have seen it long before now. CH1YO There are no contradictions. CH1YO You have never embarked upon an action that could not have been averted by your doing something else, correct? CH1YO Honney Boy No it doesn't. You're trying to force your world view to fit everyone. I have limited other recourse. CH1UO Honney Boy People who can't make the same choices you can because they cannot think in the same way that you do will not make choices in the same way you do. Wrong. People who think differently from me will make different choices. There is no reason that the process should be any different. Honney Boy No amount of saying "why can't they just grow up and be sane" will change that. When have I ever said anything of that kind? CH1YO You were institutionalised because of things that you did. You did those things under no coercion. Although you were aware that doing those things was unreasonable you persisted. Thus did you decide to deal with whatever stressors prompted the series of events in question. CH1YO Honney Boy So the insane are making coherent choices? Even if it's something they know they don't want to do? They do want to do it; that's why they decide to do so. CH1YO There are no contradictions.
