Zac sagged slightly relieved to see that rage wash away.
"I'm fine... I'm fine..." he assured. "It's just a bruise..."
had he forgotten their conversation? Or just pushed it aside?
Willfully forgotten?
"I brought tacos... you should grab them while their still warm..." He said testing the waters.

"Tacos! But first you need to sit down and rest, I'll bring the tacos over! Go ahead.."
Demy gave him a gentle push towards the bed, trying to shoo Z over to it so he could rest. That done he gathered up the bag of tacos and followed.

"Your... something else Dem... " Zac said but obligingly made his way to the bed and flopped. Actually there was a box of dumplings in there too, he'd never admit it but god he was getting sick of tacos.

It's a good thing he'd never say that out loud, because Demy would be horrified at such a thing. Content that the other had sat on the bed, Demy brought the bag of food over and sat next to him. Or, rather he got out his own taco and faceplanted on the bed in such a way as to curl around the sitting Z.
He was a lot more exhausted than he really wanted to admit. Being angry really had drained any energy he had left.

Zac blinked down at the exhausted Demy...
"...or we can...reheat them later so you can sleep?" He offered and carefully prodded a finger into Demy's side below the ribs in a sort of vague attempt to tickle.

"Sleep sucks"
Demy mumbled a reply half into the sheets and half into Z's leg. The 'tickle' earned a tiny snicker and a bit of a twitch.
"Don't wanna sleep, wanna eat the tacos."
He moved just enough to carefully unwrap the taco. Then he sat and stared at it for a long few minutes.
"....any minute now. Gonna eat it. Swear."

Zac chuckled...
"You better because if I find it petrifying in my bed I will tickle without mercy..." He poked again relieved to have devolved into such harmless 'threats'

Demy moved again, taking a bite out of his taco. It wasn't being devoured in a matter of seconds...it was -odd- really.
"Might even sleep for that...or try to at least..."
It was odd just how quick he could shift in and out of 'crazy' mode. If Z could ever find a way to control it it'd be a really useful tool. For now it was just dangerous.

He pushed away what was left of the food and made Dem move a bit so he could lay down too. The problem with being shorter was it pretty much meant that Demy 'had his back' when he promised lay down cuddles... otherwise it was just sort of... wierd.
Not that cuddling wasn't wierd... but it was wierd-er...
But Mister Hyde... how... how could he put that to -use- he wondered. Well...
At least he could 'sleep on it'
"just don't punch me again ok?" he said a tease in his voice... "Sleep well dem..."

He had managed to finish his own taco before Z moved to lay down. There was a soft sigh noise, perhaps in content, but little else from the blonde. In fact, he didn't even really reply when Z wished him a good night's sleep.
Mostly because he already was asleep.
