"Lo mein and orange chicken and mongolian beef with steamed rice, veggie spring rolls and chicken pot-stickers would be great," she said, unapologetically ordering way more than she should, especially if he was paying for the date. She hadn't eaten much that day to prepare herself for the date, and now she was starving. "And a large coke."
Only after ordering the coke did she realize that was a lot to ask for. However, instead of trimming down her order or laughing it off, she decided the best route would to be just to thank him - and in his own fashion. "Thanks, babe."

Damian managed to keep his eyes from bugging out- barely. That was a lot of food. He wasn't sure he could eat that much, well wait that was a lie. He'd eaten three large pizzas on his own after he'd gotten high for the first time. When he had 'babe' thrown back at him he laughed, girls did that too him a lot. Grinning he swooped down kissing her cheek. "I'll be back in a minute." The red head walked away from their table and into Koala Express, getting in line.

There was a fountain nearby, situated there on the whim of whomever had done the landscaping. It was a fairly shallow one, not even knee height on an average person. This was, however, deep enough for the youma lurking within to successfully hide itself. It helped that it was dark, as the shadows conveniently covered up the long yellow legs that would have been a little more noticeable in daylight.
That was all irrelevant to the little youma's mind as it waited patiently for it's chance. As it got darker, fewer people were sitting outside until eventually only Devi and her date were the only ones willing to do so. This was all part of the plan - it wasn't very large, or very strong, and surprise would be it's best weapon. A really determined group of people could probably beat it off with a chair, an entirely unproductive waste of time and energy. As Damian walked off, the blue spider-like youma launched itself upwards, landing on the table in front of Devi. It peered at her for a moment, single slitted red eye inspecting her before it launched itself at her chest.

As Damian left, Devi had just taken a seat at a table and peered at her cellphone for the time. However, she never got quite a good glimpse at the time because, well, she was attacked by a giant tarantula-creature. An ordinary occurrence for some, but this was only Devi's first time, and this tarantula wasn't being either slow or gentle.
The tarantula jumped onto her chest, pushing the seat back and knocking her straight to the ground. She screamed - no, she shrieked - for help as she flailed her arms and legs trying to slap or kick the monster off of her. This effort did not seem to work much, so she tried another method. She barrel-rolled over, slipping away from creature's legs and quickly crawled to underneath the table and hid behind the fallen chair, building a fortress of furniture to protect herself as she continued to cry for help.

Getting the food was slow going, first of all he had to remember exactly what it was Devi had ordered, and then he had to make sure they got it right. And after all that he realized he had forgotten to order his own food so he had to get back into line. It was halfway through ordering his Sweet and Sour Chicken that he heard a shriek. On instinct he whipped around eyes searching for the source. <********> Of course it was his date. Leaving the tray on the counter he made a dash for the bathroom, the servers yelling at him that he still needed to pay.
The second the bathroom door closed behind him he ducked into a stall and dug in his pocket for his henshin pen. Lifting it up he closed his eyes. "Orion Power, Make-Up!" There was a familiar woosh of warm air and a few long seconds later he was no longer Damian Cole, but instead Sailor Orion. Running out of the Koala Express he almost yelled out his kinda-sorta-but-not-really-girlfriend's name but swallowed it just in time. Orion wouldn't know her name.
"Don't worry, miss!" He was trying to be comforting but he just sounded stupid. Rolling his eyes he ran to the table, kicking the spider youma as hard as he could. He'd try for physical force before magical, he didn't want to slam Devi with meteors. He watched the youma tumble backwards, momentarily dazed, but not defeated. Taking the scant seconds he had while the thing was distracted he crouched looking at the younger girl under the table. "Hey, you should try and get inside, I'll take care of this thing." Really he should have been paying attention because right after he spoke he was thrown forwards, the spider youmas weight on his back throwing him off balance. "Ugh, get off!" He stood up and backed up, trying to twist and get the little monster off him.

The youma had been trying to get to Devi right up until Orion managed to kick it. With a squeak and some angry chittering, it jumped onto the senshi's back as soon as he was distracted. While it didn't possess much in the way of thought processes, clearly a senshi starseed was far more important than some mere human.
However, after releasing a couple of legs to try and beat the new prize with, the youma was easily thrown off and sent flying back towards the fountain it had been lurking in. Another round of angry chittering ensued, ending with a very loud howl, as if it was calling for reinforcements. It ran forward right afterwards, aiming for Orion's knees.

Vivianite was standing next to Uranophane, as per usual. Well, not really next to her. More like behind and slightly to the left. They were on patrol again, one that looked to be entirely devoid of anything to do. Again. The corrupted senshi was idly contemplating the odds of success if she ditched her keeper and went to go find Spinel when the youma's howl reached them. They had, of course, noted it's presence earlier but hadn't really been paying much attention while it went after prey; it wasn't really their business to interfere.
But now..."A senshi?" she said thoughtfully as the energy signature came into focus. "Should we go?"

There was a clear advantage and a clear disadvantage to any uneventful patrol, Uranophane had figured. The advantage was that there were no senshi on the street -- it was a clear and safe place to get some work done without worrying about being interfered. However, the disadvantage that a clear street was usually sparse in people... which meant it made it hard to fill the star seed quota, which meant that she would have to be out later the next night to try and catch up.
So in some ways, the energy signature was a relief to pick up.
After Vivianite pointed it out, Uranophane gave a nod. "Yes, we should. If that youma got to it first, that means they'll be at a disadvantage."

Devi didn't hesitate very long when Sailor Orion told her to get inside. She crawled out from under the table and sprinted for the doors of Koala Express. Unfortunately, one of the bystanders inside the restaurant was being perhaps too cautious, and was holding the glass door shut and refusing her entry.
"Open the door you mother ******** a*****e or I will come in there and rip off your d**k!" she shouted, flicking him off with one hand and pound on the other window with a closed fist. The man didn't seem to mind and certainly didn't budge from his stance. "******** you!"
Well, now where the hell should she go? Under the table sounded pretty appealing. Instead, she just froze in shock, leaning against the closed restaurant door as the only way of supporting herself as her legs trembled in fright.

Finally Orion felt the spider youma fly off his back and after shuddering and brushing himself off (he didn't particularly love spiders) he turned looking for Devi wanting to make sure she as safe. Of course because he had the worst luck ever she had gotten locked out. "s**t." he moved to try and grab and get her out of there, but then he was being attacked again.
"Damn spider!" He kicked the youma hard and then jumped back, flinging a finger out pointing straight towards the spider thing. "Meteor Rain!" Hopefully Devi stayed behind him and didn't get in the way. He took another step back watching the meteors rain down on the youma. That would take care of it, or at least he hoped it would.

That would indeed take care of the youma, who let out a positively ear-shattering screech at it's defeat as it turned into a pile of dust.
"Well?" Vivianite said to her partner after uncovering her ears. They had arrived just in time to see Orion's attack take out the youma and the pink-haired senshi's ears were still ringing from it's death cry. "Are you going first, or shall I?"
