He'll kill the whole saga if he ever does. More male characters mean a higher chance of stupid love stories happening.
Not if said love story is done correctly.
And besides, ZUN never has much of a plot to what he does, so the odds that he'll actually bother to create one are relatively low at best.
The closest thing ZUN's come to having a plot was the 10-11-12 line, and I highly doubt ZUN will try to add more plot.
Especially since he knows for a fact that his fans don't play for the plot, they play for the music and the insanely hard challenges.
Closest thing I can see to a plot would be one that has Akyu, Rinno, and Tokiko more involved.
Since they've not canonically appeared in the games themselves, just supplemental works.
Imagine the Danmaku that those three could have.....Rinno would have spellcards related to collecting, buying, and selling stuff.
Tokiko would have Bird-Themed cards like Mystia.
And Akyu would have Historical cards, similar to Keine....But those spellcards would have been PASSED DOWN IN THE HIEDA FAMILY LINE FOR GENERATIONS!
I know that spelcards came out in the gap between MS and EoSD, but it gets the point across, since Akyu retains the memories of all the past Historians, Ya?
