Well, at least that was something. A robber out the door (had there even been a door?) meant one less robber near an innocent teller.
"There you go!" he said, wishing he were close enough to give the girl a pleased shove, "Do that again!"
Unfortunately, his next attempt missed completely.

Pogo grinned happily and tried to slice it again. "This is really odd." she commented. "You'd think they'd see us up here by now. Or yell at us for messing up their lights."

"It's a little weird," Harley agreed, although he seemed undaunted. Truth be told, he was having quite the time destroying other people's property.

"Well, maybe we're saving them money by getting rid of robbers so they don't care if we break stuff?" she suggested, pulling the cord again and slicing the fixture once more.

Harley shrugged. The reasoning didn'tmake much sense to him; grown-ups pretty much always got mad when you broke their stuff whether or not it was worth anything. Dad's 'special cake papers' were perfect examples. They were perfect for mud pies, anyway!

Once again, Harley missed his target. Granted, there was nothing to actually target in the dark.
"Hold on..."
He stood then and both ears folded down. He pointed to a faintly swinging lamp and tilted his head.
"Try that one."

((lol that rollign was for nothing))
Pogo cheered loudly, watching the last robber run away at Harley's fallen light. "We don't have to! THey's gone!" she squeaked as the lights came back on.

"Hey, look at that!"
Of course, there were a few lights that did not come on. One held a hapless thief beneath it, and quite a few others were shattered on the floor.
Police had arrived (although Harley still couldn't see a door), and the tellers were cheering. He stood and waved, ears folding back again against the dull roar.
"You saved the day!" a cop cheered.
"THAT'S RIGHT!" Harley replied, chest puffing out.

"Yay!" Pogo cheered too and leaned over to hug Harley. It was about that point that she ended up rolling over and out of bed, landing on her floor with a "fwumph."
