Immortality would indeed suck, if you couldn't permanently die somehow. (IE: you get stabbed, alternatively, you need a special type of stabbing thing to "permanently" kill you.)
"Curse" immortality: Nothing kills you, and if you can die, you just regenerate, meaning if the end of the world happens, you'll burn/whatever, and feel it, many, many times.
The "kthx"/"Good" immortality: You can die, but not through aging/disease. Alternatively, being able to die only when you get sick of it might count, but that would mean suicide...

(Has Christian views, so... Yea...) How about immortality where you can keep coming back as long as there is a life-supporting environment somewhere and if you get killed you respawn in such an location? But this isn't an immortality thread, it's a "what character do you want to be" thread.

Remilia is quite happy with her immortality; she has stated in one of IN's endings that she wishes to live forever.
Anyways, she's probably the weakest among the immortal Gensokyo inhabitants. She needs to keep drinking blood in order to keep living and, very much unlike ladies Fujiwara and Houraisan, she can still be slayed by ordinary means.

Mmm, I would like to be Daiyousei.
Odd as it may seem, being someone who isn't always the target of being "the person" to take out would be beneficial. Having wings to fly is nice too, even if I would be following my beloved squad 9 leader around doing bogus things. No one blames the follower, after all.
Still wish ZUN would give her official art. Fan art is nice, and even renders me speechless, but it's only interpretation. I like things set in concrete, firm.

Well, since we are talking about a vampire, she might be slayed a bit easier with a holy weapon, say I don't know, some sort of blessed shot for example. ...then again, she needs to get hit by one first confused

Hah, this is a no-brainer, Koishi or Satori, hands-down.
Think about it, either Mind-Reading or Mastery of the Subconcious.
With Mind-Reading I'd be unstoppable, and with Mastery over the Subconcious.....Well, let's just say that life would be easy.
And I'd be able to say such lines as "That~ Is~ A~ Secret~!(Koishi)", and "You're like an open book to my 3rd Eye.(Satori)".

Also, about Remelia, I heard the only reason she can visit Reimu's place is because it's "Power was weakened, since Reimu slacks on her training." So yea, holy weaponry is probably effective, and, depending on the strength, may weaken her without touching if it's "Holy enough".
And I keep seeing jokes about her not liking blood's taste. (Sakuya: Drink my blood, not those nasty instant noodles!

Sakuya: eek , crying )And in semi-related news, it seems that something like "Mastery of the Subconcious" runs in my family. Everyone but me and my cousin are masters of the "Stealth Hi-Bye". Hmmmm.....Reimu has been slacking off...... But not quite as much as Komachi tends to. Had I been present for that exchange, I would be simultaneously arguing with Sakuya about how instant Noodles are pretty damn good, and having a debate with Remilia on what Instant Noodle flavor's the best.

The mention of the Komeiji sisters has just made me wonder something. I'm majoring in Psychology... why the hell Koishi isn't my favourite character, or at least one of my top five? Judging by her spellcard names, she even works under my favourite psychological school of thought...
