 Altair woke to the warmth and comfort of his chamber within the safe walls of the castle. Yawning he turned his attention to the window, the light of dawn shining through. He stood and began stretching his limbs loosening up his tight muscles. Once finished he stepped off his little makeshift bed that consisted of a few pillows and a blanket or two here and there.
Walking over to a small shrine in the far left corner he sat down, lowered his head, and closed his eyes. He sat in silence paying his respects and thanks to 'The Maker'. After a few minutes of silence he opened his eyes and bowed before standing again and making his way out of his chambers and down the hall.
It seemed to be another cold morning and like always he seemed to have woken up before anyone else. He knew this because every morning he had a habit of checking on the others living with in the castle. Walking down the hall of the guest quarters he stopped and peeked into one of the rooms to find Flynn and Drake still curled up and sleeping. After a quick peek he moved on to another room further down. Looking in he only noticed Kina. He tilted his head to the side. This meant that Farah was up... how he missed her he had no idea.
He turned and walked back out into the hall. He had made it a rule that each gender had there own quarters. This meant that Males were not aloud into the Female quarters at night and the same went for the Females... only they weren't aloud into the Male quarters, Unless of course the foxes were mated. With this rule there could be up to 5 or more foxes in one room. Brining himself out of his train of thought he found himself standing outside in the keep looking over the rest of the castle and the beautiful land that lay before it.

Farah had woken up early. It was unusual, but for some reason she couldn't sleep lately. She attributed it missing her brother and sister. She sighed as she walked through the castle ground, moving down into the training area. She placed her paw down into the soft soil and looked up at the sky. Flynn smiled in his sleep, then rolled over so far that he slide right off his bed. He clunked against the cold ground and immediately shot up, "Woah! that's cold....cold, cold...." He shivered and picked himself up, "Mm..." He looked up and noticed it was barely light out, "Man....and i woke up early..."

 Frey winced as pain lanced up his side again. He had made the mistake of taking on a wild cat a bit bigger than him and had barely won the fight by driving the creature back. Now all he had to do was find a place to rest for a while and help his front shoulder heal. Realizing he should probably look up to see where he was going he came face to face with a castle. Frey let out a slight groan/whimper as he recalled those fur less things called humans tended to live in castles.

 Kina slowly opened her eyes after noticing it had gotten rather cold out. Looking up she realized it had been because Farah was gone and rather then go back to sleep she figured since she was already awake she mine as well get up. Standing she stretched a little then began making her way down the hall when she heard a yelp coming from the boys quarters. It sounded like a yelp of pain and her, being the head Priestess figured out she had better go check it out.
She ran down the hall and stopped somewhere inside the hall. She knew Altair wouldn't mind her being in the boys quarters, especially if there was an injured Modi to tend too. Walking into the room she Flynn.
"Flynn are you alright? I heard you call out in pain..." Drake had been fast asleep lying on his back when he was jolted awake by someone yelping. He jumped as his eyes flew open.
"Who?! What?! Where's the fire?!"
He flared around panicked until his eyes rested on none other then Flynn on the ground. He stopped moving and comically glared at him and he turned so he was lying on his stomach. He couldn't believe what just happened. Did he just really freak out cause of a cold floor?
"Flynn what the heck are you doing?" He tilted his head to the side as he watched Kina run into the room. "Tech... he's fine... the moron just fell out of bed is all..." Altair was brought out of his trance when he heard the soft sound of paws down toward his left. Looking over he noticed Farah down near the training area. She seemed to be longing for something... or worried. He grew concerned considering he wasn't use to seeing her sad like that. He turned and headed down toward the training area.
"Farah..." He slowly walked up to her. "Something is troubling you..."

Farah continued to look at the sky for another minute before realizing his presence, "Hm?" She blinked then smiled, "Elder...Mm...." She looked downward, "Oh...it's nothing really....just...It's been a long time...since I've seen Xinder and Kian..." (her sister and brother) "I guess I'm just worried....Silly huh?" She chuckled.
Flynn looked over and gave Drake a funny look, "What....the floor is cold..." He jumped slightly when Kina came in, "Woah....Pain....I wouldn't really call it pain Kina..." He laughed, "It was just the usual case of cold floor syndrome....Hey!" He glared at drake, "I am not a moron....and need i remind you...I am Head Rogue." He puffed his chest proudly.

He smiled as he inclined his head. "Please... call me Altair..."
He sat down next to her. For some reason he didn't like being called Elder... he always thought himself on the same level as all the other foxes. Just because he was the conduit to The Make he always thought himself on an even level as all the others.
"I see... You miss your family..." He looked off into the reaches of the training grounds. "Its not silly at all..." He gave her a comforting smile. "If you didn't I would think you mad... Everyone misses there family sooner or later and I'm sure they miss you as well." He wanted to comfort her by wrapping his tail around her or nuzzling her neck but he wasn't quite sure on how she would react.
"Well of course its cold..." Drake scoffed at him. "Its the floor and its the morning... what did you expect it to be hot?" He smiled at there little argument. It was always fun to have little fits with Flynn. "Yeah... a syndrome you seem to have like almost every morning... maybe we should strap you to the bed..." He laughed as he rolled back over onto his back. This made Flynn aper upside-down.
"Hey Kina..." he smiled as he spotted her. "Yeah, yeah we all know... not that your ego could get any bigger." He said in response to his outburst of being Head Rogue.
She sighed glad that no one had been hurt. Though she did give him a rather nasty glared. "You had me worried... I though you were hurt... again." This had been about the third time he had done this and each time she thought he had been hurt. She was getting rather tired worrying over nothing. She didn't blame him though, the floors were rather cold in the mornings but he could take more care not to fall out of bed all the time.
"Hello Drake." She smiled at him and couldn't help but laugh at the way he was lying in the bed. "Hmmm..." She smiled at Flynn. "Maybe we should tie him to the bed... at least that way we know he's safe..." She joked along with Drake.

 Tokala followed the prints through the forest. He could tell there was a fight and was following the fox that was injured. The trail was faint, but he followed it just the way Riku taught him. Getting to the end of the trail, Tokala spotted the castle. He stayed back, hidden in the forest and sniffed around the forest edge. Smelling other foxes, he stepped out and waited to see if they would be coming outside.

however when Frey sniffed the air he realized instead of smelling humans he smelt other foxes. Even as that fear was laid to rest he didn't exactly know the temperament of this foxes so he couldn't relax his guard just yet. As he looked around he noticed a tree. He could hide up there for a while. Just until he felt a little better.

Her cheeks colored slightly, as she shyly looked up at him, "As you wish....Altair...." She smiled softly and leaned over and nuzzled against his neck gently, "Thank you..." She whispered.
Flynn comically glared down at Drake, "Shut up....you tie me to the bed and I'll kick your butt..." He lunged at him and tackled him, pinning him to the ground and swishing his tail in his face.

Altair smiled as he leaned his head into her, nuzzling her back. He was glad he at least helped comfort her a little. "Your welcome..." He closed his eyes letting her lean into him. "i'm sure your mother misses them too..." He touched his nose to her forehead. "I'll tell you what... if we ever come across your brother and sister... or they find us... they may join the tribe..."
Drake chuckled as he rolled his eyes. "Oh yeah... sure..." He shook his head as he looked away. They always fought and no mater what they ended up in a tie. "Hey!" he called out as he was tackled to the ground. "What are you doing?! Get off me! Aw come on!" He struggled below him. "Get off meeee!"
Kina sighed as she shook her head watching the two fight. She always thought they were a couple of dorks. "Don't come crying to me if you hurt yourselves..." She turned and left the room. She figured she would go for a morning walk before the usual breakfast.
She made her way outside into the court yard where she stopped and admired the beautiful morning sky. Looking around she spotted Altair and Farah. She had wondered where she had got too.
"They must have went for a walk." She smiled but it soon faded as she caught a sent on the wind... the sent of a wounded fox and it was close. Worried she quickly made her way outside the castle gate. Outside she sniffed the air trying to track down the injured fox.

Farah smiled happily, leaning into Altair and soaking up his comfort, "Really?" Her tail wagged happily as she pulled back and looked at him. "Thank you so much." She licked the side of his face gently in a gesture of gratitude.
"Say uncle!" He laughed as he dangled his tail over his face, tickling under his nose. "Ha! Come on, say it!" He laughed.

Frey caught wind of another smell as the direction of the wind changed a bit and looked back down towards the forest. However before he could do anything about the new fox a closer fox smell caught his attention again and he looked towards that direction to see... "ah its the lovely sparkly maiden" he smiled looking down at her.

Tokala watched as a fox came out of the castle. He turned his head to the side to watch where she was going. His ears perked up at the sight of a couple of twigs out of place near a tree, so he peered up and spotted the purple and white fox. He moved through the forest to get closer to the tree, careful to make no sound so he could get a better look at the fox he trailed.

He blushed slightly and bowed his head to her. "Your welcome..." He stood looking around the area they were in. It was still early morning but none the less it would be time for breakfast soon and having no rangers meant that he would have to do all the hunting. Which he didn't mind it would just take more time. He looked back at Farah and smiled as he bowed again. "Excuse me... but it will be time for breakfast soon... and with out rangers I'm afraid it may take me a wile to bring back food... so i just be going..." He turned on his heals then stopped and looked back her. "Your in charge until I get back..." He smiled. "I'm counting on you." He walked off toward the gate.
"Ahhhh!" Drake screamed in annoyance and frustration as he threw his head from side to side in order to avoid Flynns tail. "Nock it off!" He finally managed to get his back paws under the purple and black fox and push him off. "Your such a freak!" He blushed slightly before jumping off the bed and quickly running off through the door blushing wildly.
Kina sniffed the air and managed to track the sent and blood of the fox to a tree. She looked up and spotted the purple fox. "Uh!" She was a little surprised to see the injured fox up a tree. "What... What on earth are you doing up there?!" She called out to him. With his wounds she was surprised he had even managed to get himself up there.
