This damn moron! Jianyu thought with exasperation. He'll be the death of me.
"Ya friggin moron!" Jianyu snapped, stepping back and folding his arms over his chest. "Like I would ever let a Noble kill me. I'll be the one to run an arrow through that muscular chest of yours, not the other way around!"
Walking haughtily back over to the tree, Jianyu gathered up his things, strapping the sheath of arrows to his back securely. His peaceful moment was ruined by Bataar's somewhat rude entrance, but now he was not only irritated with him, he was flustered, his face feeling hot. Jianyu did not like feeling flustered.
"Damn brat." Jianyu grumbled as he walked past Bataar. "You're an idiot."
Pausing just before he moved away, Jianyu glanced back at Bataar. Then, in a quick movement, turned his head and pressed quick kiss to the Lunarian's cheek.
"Now we're even." he said. "Ya moronic lump of muscles!"
He'll be the death of me.

Bataar looked rather ruffled by Jianyu's declaration, although he appeared to be far from giving up on the idea that he would be the triumphant one in this particular situation. His confidence and, beyond that, his manliness would not allow such an insult to stand! "It'd be a lot easier to put an arrow through your chest, sissy!" Bataar responded haughtily, his green eyes narrowing as he made sure to define the difference between their muscle masses. Tragically for Bataar, his weapon worked best on horseback, from a particularly long distance. He was more of an archer because that had been the weapon his mother had supplied, and because he knew the ropes.
He was an idiot? As true as it was, it was an entirely unappealing idea to Bataar. He voiced his objections by means of colorful cursing aimed at the legionnaire who was apparently planning on leaving. It wasn't in Bat's interest that he should leave, however, and he'd be sure to let Jianyu know as much.
The kiss, followed by the comment, was the icing on the cake.
"YOU HOMO!" Bat shouted, before aiming a decisive punch at the other man. Of course, his accusation had no grounds besides the fact that he was well aware that Jianyu disliked his sexuality being disputed. He'd proven that much when Bat had gone to his house, and so the Mongol thought himself to be very clever in the insult.
