Kunx the Mighty- Are you kidding? I've been loosing for the longest time! Spirit is the only thing that's making me not quit!
-Online, in person, just for the fun of battling.

X Dark Serge X- I do get what your saying. My first plan was really to get some better ideas, and then connect the pieces. I guess it is a bit much asking for a WHOLE team. And I've been facing this dilema since I was little! It just.....took like 5 years to finally get to me. I don't have a way good strategy. I always liked the pure type advantage- No specific favorite pokemon, Max Sp/Att (other EVs vary) and then powerful 100% accuracy moves of 4 different types for each pokemon. I havn't tried any other strategy for a few years because when I did, they just failed completely for me. Rain dance teams, earthquake teams, etc. Whether it's me or my pokemon, I somehow am always winning by a few HP *literally won with just 1 HP once*, or I get demolished.
I can't stress enough that I'm not just some noob who has no clue what he's doing. I pretty much put my heart into training my pokemon.
And unfortunatelly, most of them aren't hax. The person that bothers me most (in pokemon) is my GF...she somehow pulls out the best strategies I've ever seen from out of nowhere! She even made smeargle to where it KO'd 3 of my pokemon in a single battle! I don't know where the hell she gets it! It makes me feel freaking useless...it pisses me off...and god I hope she doesn't find this thread because she gets pissed when I get pissed because it's just a game and I don't want her to get mad at me because I love her soooo much...so I keep this on the hush hush ninja yea, sorry for another life story.

Kyrenx- Yup ;P Can't stress the pride thing enough.
And I really don't have a personal favorite. I don't really face the same opponents all the tiime, which is why I want a well rounded team that doesn't have a certain weakness through the whole team. Like all flying pokemon, no chance in hell I'm doing that XP Like I said before, I'll just take some suggestions first and then work from there.

Hollow Revolution- ....that's deep.....thank you.

Kyrenx-Oh wow, that's pretty damn good! I like it!! And yea, I should just rewrite the part of the post that asks for a whole team DX

---And thank you all. It's just the start of the advice I need but I feel grateful...Most people just ignore me when I need something! So please. Name some kind of price if any of you need something in return.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you aren't using pokemon mainly of the tier you're battling in, then I don't believe you should expect to win all the time (not that you should anyway). Now, originality is what makes the game fun, so don't just use all the biggest baddest OU pokemon while playing standard battles, but it still may proove useful to have a couple of them. In other words, use Pokemon that you like, & that can be competitive. For example, I sometimes use my Uxie & Poliwrath (both UU pokemon) in standard battles, because they can compete when you used properly on the same team (thanks to Dual Screens, Memento, & Belly Drum.)
Also, don't just go by just what you see on a helpful site, add your own little spin on it.

Kyrenx
Like what Serge said, I'm not going to build the team for you, but just to get the ball rolling around here, this is a rather interesting Double Battle combo that I've played with before with moderate success.

Kingdra @ Wet Rock
Nature: Modest
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Special Attack, 242 HP, 16 Speed
~ Rain Dance
~ Surf
~ Ice Beam
~ Dragon Pulse

Toxicroak @ Black Sludge
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 Attack, 240 Speed, 18 HP
~ Substitute
~ Focus Punch
~ Sucker Punch
~ Stone Edge

Despite what most might be thinking, Toxicroak won't go down easily in Double Battles. Dry Skin (w/ Rain Dance + Surf) + Black Sludge = at least 3/8 HP recovery a turn. So you can Substitute up and pretty much get healed immediately. Kingdra's Surf doesn't mess up Croak's Focus Punch thanks to Dry Skin, making this a fairly safe Focus+Sub combo benefiting from STAB. Kingdra shouldn't need very many Speed EVs as it will outspeed the majority of the metagame with Swift Swim in effect and if Kingdra kills one of the opponents, then Toxicroak will be able to get off his Focus Punch without worrying about being ganged up on.
Lol, that reminds me so much of one of my old teams. I had a Surfing Empoleon with rain dance & aqua ring, then I had a hard-hitting yet defensive Toxicroak with dry skin, protect, & black sludge. I didn't think to use substitute. lol
On a side note, I thought of a cool little way to force your opponent to struggle.

Maybe you can do what I did~ Battle until you know which Pokemon work and what don't. It's how I made my team, and spend hours on Marriland and Serebii looking up movesets and countless breeding fun! <3 Don't go with Smogon picked movesets if you wanna' be original.

Well, what I basically said is what everyone competitive does but you can start by battling me biggrin

Archolite- Tiers? UUs? Oh god that's something I need to be educated on...could you tell me what you're talking about? I think I know what Tiers are but...not in the way you were talking about them.
And I will put my own spin on it. I'm going to find a way to which each pokemon can work with each other.

Wasbewwy- aahah...hah....yea I need to do that like half way through training instead of waiting untill the pokemon's finished

Uhh ya, tiers are where pokemon are placed at & it just says how usable the pokemon aswell as when they can be used. It goes like this:

Uber: Pokemon banned from standard play, such as Rayquaza, Mewtwo, Arceus, etc.

OU (Over used): Pokemon that are good, but aren't too overpowered. Like Salamence, Tyranitar, & Blissey. (I still believe these three are a little too good, but at least they have their flaws & you can only use 1 of each. With the exception of the Big 5 clause (only 1 of these 3 & 2 others [Dragonite & something else that I can't remember] can be used) in which is often used in this guild.

BL (Borderline): Pokemon in between UU & OU, in other words, they're too good to be in UU battles, but are often found to be a little weak for OU. Pokemon such as Crobat & Abomasnow lie here.

UU (Under used): Pokemon that can be used in Standard battles, but are found to be more fit for UU battles.

NU (Not used) These are usually the weakest pokemon, but also have their usefulness.

And here are the battle types that I know of:

Uber Battles: Any pokemon can be used

Standard Battles: OU, BL, UU, & NU

UU Battles: UU & NU pokemon.

NU Battles: NU pokemon only.

Hope I was helpful.

I've never heard of "Marriland", could you show me a link?

Sorry if I am being lazy friend. But here is a link that will help explain what the tiers in pokemon are.

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Tier

The tiers vary from community to community. Most however follow smogon's tier list. Though for our guild, we only follow the uber ban list with also adding Latias to it.

Our guild usually doesn't care about classifying the other tiers unless its warrented. (Ex: Tier based tournaments) After all, any well placed pokemon in calculated team can really become a threat. (EX: Jumpluff in an uber Sunny Day team)

Edit: Heres the link friend. http://pokemon.marriland.com/index.php

Well, Salamence and Metagross are two of the Big 5 (or is it Big 4 now?) which are sometimes known as "pseudo-legendaries".

Youtube.. search for battles... watch and learn... you learn a lot by just watching if you get the meaning of the moves being used
