Lazerous, the first to the tower, is standing near the sign scrawled into the stonework. Pondering the meaning behind the word found having be scratched out, and the word ground over top of it, he kneels down, and begins to search the ground in front of the scrawled message.

The ground itself amongst being littered with debris has shadows cast by the full harvest moon. Carefully disregarding the fact the moon had been new when you entered the gate you continue your search but cant help but feel a presence watching you from somewhere close. Your shadow and the shadows of the rest of the party are nowhere to be found.
(One more full player round to do whatever you need to in this area then I'll begin the real fun stuff, there may be a few things around that could prove useful later on. Be sure to let me know where your searching or what your taking so I may add it to party loot.)

Mitzka’s eyes narrowed as she glanced at the gate. As Eulalie entered the place, the entrance disappeared into a seamless stretch of wall. “It seems the decision has been made for us, for we appear now to be trapped. We all took the bait admirably.” Mitzka noticed Eulalie slump to the ground with her face in her hands. This seemed to be a strange place for the likes of her, but she’d answered to temptation like the rest of them. She was a relatively new resident to the town of Myir and, unlike most of the other adventurers, Mitzka knew very little about this girl. Well, she did bear a powerful curse. That much was obvious to Mitzka. Perhaps that explained her timid nature. Still, the girl seemed weak. Things had just started and she was already losing it. Nevertheless, she had helped Vincent in his time of need. Mitzka therefore would return the favor. She walked over to the girl. Her face still bore a cool expression, but her voice was a bit softer. “Though I do not know the nature of this place or the game we are meant to play, we will see this through to the end.” Mitzka offered her hand to the girl to help her get back on her feet. Then she noticed something strange. “Oh, unlike our surroundings, it appears our shadows have fled from us.”

Lazerous takes out a small knife, and begins to chip away at the grouting around the message, wondering if maybe there is something behind the stone. He glances back at the surroundings, and smiles at the others, "Oh, hello there. It seams I am not the only one that was intreagued by the tower. Perhaps you can help me understand the meaning of this message on this stone here."
He smiles, as his fingers continue to chip away at the stone.

*Firu turned his attention to the tree, being the single most distinguishing feature in this room perhaps it has something to hide. He started at the bottom of the tree and slowly worked his way higher, closely examining the ground around it and the bark along it's sides. He even gave the noose a good searching.*

((Gonna pick up the pace))
For a moment it felt as though the ground was rising. The landscape became darker and a hideous shriek could be heard from seemingly everywhere. The darkness began to take form becoming odd parodies of animal-ish humans. Claws, beaks, teeth, and eyes glowing yellow like the moon above all looked ready to eat the intruders.
((Four lesser Shadowlings and one greater shadowling have formed but you have first actions. Good luck! P.S. I'll add their stats on their turn I'm cruel but not a complete jerk mwahaha.))

As the shadow creatures began to form out of the darkness in the courtyard, Miztka closes her eyes and lets out a long drawn out sigh. “I guess our entertainers have arrived.” She then turned around to face the shadowlings, a look of mild annoyance in her face. “I don’t suppose you guys are friendly" Mitzka states as she lookes at the yellow eyed assailants. "No? Very well…”
Mitzka will use SA sonic scream on lesser shadowling (14 special damage)
Mitzka will do one of the following actions based on what the shadow creatures do.
Mitzka will cast either, Pounce, Stuning blow, Spellblock, or Special block, which ever will block the most damage. If no attacks are directed at her or the attacks cannot penetrate past her defense, then she will pounce an attack dealing the most damage to someone else or cast stunning blow to stop a spell.

Bristling at the odd creatures the Ice cat breathes a freezing breath at one of the lesser shadowlings. Eulalie having taken Mitzka's hand spotted the threat and began preparing her rituals of healing in case someone was badly injured. "Everyone please stay safe..."
Ice Cat: 5/5
Spell: Chill
Targeting lesser shadowling.
Eulalie: 30/30
Healing: (Whomever is at lowest health by the end of the round.)

Lazerous smiles, twisting his hands in an intricate patern, and thrusting his palms outwards. A light blue ball shot forwards, forming into a long, sleek diamond shape; sharpened point hurtling towards a shadowling.

"Now the fun starts." Varnis smiles evily as the shadowlings appear in front of the group. Holding out his hand, a stream of light shoots forth from the ring smashing into the greater shadowling as he feels his own strength being sapped away.
Placing the same hand on his sword, he draws it and looks at the one he had just hit with the power of the ring. Focusing his mind, he could feel his strength slowly come back to him. "Prepare to die!" Running forward into the fray, he charges at the first shadowling that is in his sights. Pulling his blade back, he swings it in a horizontal motion towards the midsection of his target.

Mp: 0
Action: Power up (+3 str)
Item: Demonic Ring (-4 strength, 4 damage to Greater Shadowling + 1/4 per round.)
