"Reading s'nice. Tori's been showin us how. Reading about a princess." Lily replied with a quiet nod, cocking her head to the side as she looked to the cover of the book. "what story?"

"OOooh," Lilah said, perking up. "Which Princess??"
She had read lots of princess stories so far. One of her favorites was the one about 12 silly girls who would dance the night away and wear holes in their shoes.

"A dumb one. She's mean to frogs and won't keep her promises." Lily said with a sour expression. They obviously hadn't finished the story yet. "I don't like her."

Lilah's brow furrowed.
She had read about princesses with lots of hair, and sleeping princesses and princesses with apples and geese herding princesses and princesses who dress up with a coat of 1,000 animal furs and even about one who kept her people from going to war.
But never one with a frog. She hated to admit not knowing a story either.
"What's it called?" she finally asked, admitting defeat.

Lily blinked a few times, scratching her head. What was it called again? When the memory returned to her, she blushed, feeling foolish for not realizing it immediately. "The Frog Prince - or the Princess and the Frog. Summat like that. Said it was what the movie was based on."

"There are movies based on BOOKS??" Lilah asked, her eyes growing wide.
Maggie said they could go see movies, if she wanted, or...what had she said? 'Rent' them? But Lilah had never been interested, because she hadn't imagined anything could be as exciting as a book.
"Do you see lots of movies? In the...the theater?"

The blue haired tot shook her head, "Nope. Not many movies. Mommy doesn't like them and Lily's too busy. Maybe when older." the girl said with a yawn, looking around for a bit. Man, she was getting so tired!

"We should go when we get older, den!" Lilah said, nodding. She wanted to see these book movies. Maybe Maggie would take her, or make older sister Cindy to take her!
She saw the girl yawn, and looked around. The playground had gotten rather empty, she could see only Maggie on the park bench off in the distance and it seemed like it was getting dark fast.
Lilah was used to staying up to all hours reading, but the other girls her age seemed to fall asleep hours and hours earlier.
"Does Lily need to go home an' sleep?" she asked curiously.

The girl nodded. "Yeah. Lily tired." she mumbled, heading over towards the main slide area. "Nice meetin you all." she called, moving to slide down it and land. Mmm sleepy sleephy.

Lilah (finally) moved out of the girl's way and she and her 'wats' watched as Lily slid down and walked off to go to bed.
"Nice to meet you toooo!" she called. Gathering up the pets, she followed down the slide, going 'weeee!' as she did and then ran over to Maggie.
The blond girl chatted mindlessly about the blue haired girl she had met, as her and Maggie walked home.
