BTW, I do remember losing to Drac on purpose but just on certain games that have different endings in case there was a different ending when you lost the battle. Richter Belmont X At the moment, my favorite is Granfallon from SoTN. That giant ball of corpses scared the hell out of me as a kid. rofl That is one of my favorite bosses too dude!

I forgot to mention that Legion was also one of the most disgusting SOTN bosses. That one scared me when I first saw it. eek

And yeah, he was freaking huge...pretty easy compared to the rest of the bosses, but when I was little, I thought you had to destroy every single piece of him, it took me forever. rofl The screeches scared me to death...reminded me of my grandmother. o_0

Hey y'all, it looks like I missed this chat topic- then again I haven't been on in a few days.
I can't remember the things names fully but my favourite bosses from Symphony were the big corpse with all the flies on and around it and the other big Anubis-looking guy that fired lightning at you and took up the best part of the screen. I wish I had a guide for reference sad
Plus my favourite boss overall was Isaac from COD just because it was the only time I actually got to see my favourite character and what he could do with varous ID's and weapons. Is it just me or do you guys also notice how Isaac's ID's can be softer compared to Hectors?- Isaac has a giant fluffy yeti/teddy thing at one stage whereas Hector gets a massive skull knight. Your thoughts on this?

I think the fly-ridden corpse was Beelzebub, and the lightning-spewing demon was Galamoth (incidentally the main antagonist of Judgement)
Now you mention it, Isaac's monsters were either inverted to Hector (they were darker colours) or like the Iytei creature it was just randomly soft and cute for a vicious guy like Isaac to be using rofl he has issues...

My favourite boss is Carmilla from DXC. She was an interesting yet easy boss. Another favourite is Shaft...either on DXC or SoTN he is one of my favourites to defeat when playing as Richter Belmont.

Also I used to like to play the Succubus/Nightmare boss in Symphony of the Night because I liked how everything within the level was all sepia and how much of a devious character the succubus was. She wasn't your average drone of a boss.

It did kill Alucard on my first attempt though... couldn't get to my items in time it seems. Ah yes, Succubus in SotN was great, especially the way Al gets to seal her in the dreamworld and everything. And Galamoth was great! I don't think there has ever been a harder boss than that one, not in 2D at least. Well, other than the crab in OoE cuz that one is really tough not to get hit at least once. I know I had a really hard time getting its medal! That lousy sob... xd
