d**k faltered in his stance, falling to one knee.
"Luck had nothing to do with it..."
Leaning back in the 'dance fighting' style, d**k was able to get his leg around in a kick toward Tads knee.

d**k Grayson d**k faltered in his stance, falling to one knee. "Luck had nothing to do with it..." Leaning back in the 'dance fighting' style, d**k was able to get his leg around in a kick toward Tads knee. (ooc: rofl , actually luck had everything to do ith it... Tad slipped on some dropped food, fell backwards and hit his head on a table, knocking himself out. When he woke up, d**k had tied him up. xp ) The kick connected with Tad, and he crumpled down tp the ground. H:e swung wildly hoping to grab something before he ended up flat on his back, but alas, he was staring up at the sky in no time. $!#@

Once on the ground, Tad shot his leg out to try and kick d**k, but he didn't connect. Tad hopped back up onto his feet and regained some semblance of a fighting stance.

This damn ice was getting in his way, and with everything back at his apartment with the exception of his mask, he was at a definate disadvantage against Tad. With his opponent back in a fighting stance, d**k rolled out of the capoerea style and onto his feet in a low crouch.
"Now isn't this just fun?"
Diggin' the toe of his shoe into the ground, it gave him better footing against the frozen streets. Using the advancements of his mask, d**k took note of his surroundings rather quickly and plotted out a course of action.
"You waiting for Don King to show up and sell tickets or what?"
With a push and sprint, d**k lept into the air and grasp a fire escape ladder and began pulling himself up.
"Follow...if you can kid."

Tad walks into the blustery scene, eternally on pause from when he was chasing that d**k from rooftop to rooftop.
He so had it comin', too. Well, wait;ll they get a load of me now, eh? Computer! Change scene! I still want it ta be Bludhaven, but Pre-Nuke. Spring. Somethin' nice for my soon-ta-be guest. Oh, and something that only I gots permission to enter and leave.
The scenery shifts and changes around Tad, to a slightly less oppressive temperature and.. surprisingly enough, a luxury version of his old apartment before he was arrested.
That'll do, Cyberdome. That'll do.

Tad carries the body of his charge inside and lays her down on a particularly plush couch. He then walks into the kitchen and grabs himself a bottle a soda, and starts making some cereal.. then realizes he's not alone.
Oh, hey, Iris.
Where the heck am I?
Yer in my place. Jaeger said they was gettin' too close to finding him out, so he asked me to take over. Somethin' about wantin' JUSTICE to be served. Don't worry kid. Yer safe. No one'll think I did it. 'sides, I have anything you want here to eat. So pull up a cereal bowl, and dig in! As if to punctuate his point, Tad dug in to breakfast.

Tad's sitting on the couch, slowly piecing together another ransom note; his plan was going perfectly. Hey Iris, it's time for another letter. Whatcha want this time?
Dad's crown. He think's I'm his little princess. Well, I think it's time I graduated to Queen. Here, lemme finish the letter, Tad.
Oh, uh, okay. Tad reliquished the letter, and Iris grabbed a pen...

Iris paces at superspeed, jumping when Tad storms back into the room.
I really wish I could see what's going on out there. Is my dad worried? Can we end this?
End it? Hell no! Your dad, uh...he doesn't care at all! Yeah, that's right. I went to go pick up the crown for you and he was totally like partying and stuff. And that STUPID WOLF was still sniffin' around!
Tad throws a sheet of paper at Iris.
Write a new note! We'll show 'em we aren't screwing around any more. We want the guild, the crown, a million gold...and I guess you can have a pony. Girls like ponies, right?
Um...
Just keep writing! Show that good for nothin' fleabag that he don't know anything about detecting...
Iris quickly adds a tiny postscript on the back of the note, hoping Tad won't notice...

I'm worried about Jaeger! Where is he? Why hasn't he come yet?
Iris yells at Tad as he finishes his Mountain Dew and tosses it on the enormous pile in the middle of the room. Tad sneers.
I guess that punk doesn't really care about JUSTICE.
Tad pulls himself up off the couch and checks the fridge.
Dangit, we're out of Dew. I'll go get some. Remember, tonight is the big return, so you should get some rest. Boy, when I run this guild, it's gonna be tight. First thing I'll do is boot out Grayson...
Tad puts on his coat and leaves, slamming the door and locking it behind him. Iris sighs.
Oh daddy...this is so wrong...

Iris's eyes snapped open at the sound of a hum...and a Cyberdome portal opening in the middle of the room.
Bigby!!!
Finally, I've found you, Iris. I had to trail that pipsqueak for days before I finally figured out which simulation he had you hidden in.
Iris hugs the detective, but then turns away.

Of course he is. But he's also your father, and the one thing he wants more then anything else is his baby girl back.

Not my position to be a family counselor, but I'd warrent to say that staging your own kidnapping isn't the act of a mature woman, either.
Iris's eyes well up with tears.
It seemed like such a good idea when Jaeger suggested it...but you're right. He never meant for it to get this far. If I could have left here, I would have...but Tad had the simulation set so only he could enter and leave.
Yeah, that's been disabled now. It's time to leave, Iris. Your father is waiting.
What about Jaeger? Is he in trouble, too?
Yes, but considering what he went through I think your father is going to be lenient.

And Iris exits the simulation with Bigby.
