Durzo stared. What in the world.....He wished badly that he could see what the hell had just happened. The vampire was gone. wow....that was easy. He didn't even put up a fight. Eh, not my problem. I'd have hated to get bitten. That would've sucked. The kid had said he'd left, but it never hurt to be sure. Durzo lifted his head into the wind. He listened as the footsteps quieted and then stopped. He sniffed the air. Yeah, he's gone. He started sniffing around for his throwing knives. The sent of the metal was a stark contrast to the forest and wildlife smells. He walked over and glided his hands along the ground until he picked up all of his knives. Now where the hell did the boss go? he wondered, only slightly annoyed. He marched off in the direction he'd heard his master walk. Durzo caught up and began to murmur the events of the fight to his master while they looked for a place to rest

Teishoku said nothing for a while. When Aiko reached him, he nodded to acknowledge her, then turned back. He was listening to Durzo tell him about the wimpy vampire running away. From the way he told the story, it sounded like the kid almost pissed his pants. It made Teishoku grin a little bit. Shame, I was hoping he'd be made of tougher stuff....I need more people. Teishoku thought distantly.

They continued to walk until they reached a very broad tree. It had bright orange and pink trees. This seems like a good spot. Teishoku put his back against the wall and slumped to the floor. He let out a sigh as Durzo stopped talking and sat down as well, cross legged. Teishoku watched as Durzo's head slowly weaved back and forth, a habit he probably didn't know he had.

Teishoku looked at Aiko, who was following him. Sigh, better set the boundary now, otherwise I might forget to. Alright....um...Aiko. This is the deal, by following me, you've just agreed to my terms. You're now bound to me. Our relationship shall be one of master and student. I will teach you whatever you wish to know, but I should warn you, if you do anything to cross me or my friends, or ever disobey my commands, I will kill you. Teishoku paused, his face the definition of seriousness. Then he cracked a smile. Then broke out in laughter.

When he'd finished, and wiped a tear from his eye, he continued. Sorry, couldn't resist. No but seriously, you belong to me first and foremost. I'll permit you time to do your own thing, but you can never forget that you are mine. His face relaxed and he sighed again. Then he sat up and cleared his throat.

My name is Teishoku Kobushi. He gestured to the softly snoring bandit. That's Durzo Blint. Teishoku turned to look at his new companion. Wow, why is he so tired? he's barely done anything all day. I need to talk to this guy.... He turned back to Aiko. As you can tell by the rags, I'm a beggar. What you might not know is that I am of a special sect of beggars. These beggars are taught a secret style of martial arts and magic. As far as my history goes, that is all you need to know.

Teishoku showed her his right hand. He was sort of nervous. He'd never actually 'told' anyone what his hand did. It was sort of a demonstrative type of thing. And usually the person he showed had no time to appreciate it because it was being used to kill them.

Something happened to my hand a while back that gave me an abnormal set of powers. The runes on the tip of my hand activate when they taste my blood, and deactivate when they taste another. Whenever I wish, I can boost my strength, heal my body, and even make fire. Teishoku took a deep breath. He never talked this much. It had been a long day. He'd almost died....again. He wanted to sleep. But it would probably be better to finish this now.

The people of this forest are giant tree men called Ents. They protect all of the living things in this area. Recently they chose me to help them protect this forest. They.....um....'gave' me some powers to help with my task, and while these powers haven't quite surfaced yet, they are beginning to affect the powers I already have. The Ents have declared that I and my company shall be safe from them and the predators in this forest, but this boon was not given to everyone that enters. If you are not with me, you run the risk of attack and death. My current goal is to get stronger, and maybe find a little religion. It seems like I need some what with all thats happened to me. Teishoku yawned deeply. So thats all there is to me. I'll be wanting to hear your story in a bit. I'm going to get a few hours of sleep. Don't disturb me. Teishoku closed his eyes and started breathing deeply. If you try to run, the next time I see you, I'll kill you. If you try to hurt me in my sleep, my bandit will stop you and kill you. You're welcome to rest, or perhaps just sit there and be quiet for a while. Just don't wake me. Thank you. Teishoku fell asleep, and dreamed of the night his parent's died.

Jurak felt a odd shift in the balance of the forest as he sat in mediation. He was in his human form at the moment resting under the largest tree in the forest. He sense the presence of Teishoku he disciple and the next Naturia Sage but that wasn't all that he sensed. He felt the presence of an undead filthy vampire. He jumped up quickly and soon the other elders began to notice. They transformed into their human forms and began to dash quickly to the location of Teishoku, everyone of them armed with their bows and swords. They arrived to the area and seen Teishoku on the floor with his eyes clothes. They also seen a bandit armed with many knifes. They elders quickly surround the vampire and the bandit, pinning then down and holding daggers to their necks.

Jurak ran over to Teishoku, slapping him in the face repetively, "Teishoku! Wake up you foolish smelly beggar! For the sake of all that is holy in Eden. Arise!" Jurak continued to smack him until he heard on of the elders start to make a commotion about the vampire. Jurak turned around and the elder was hysterical. Jurak instantly realize why. It was Jinsoku's sister, Aiko. "Get off of her you barbaric fool! Get up before her brother has us killed!"

Kaname Jumped into the forest once agian "Why hello there..." the stops and looks at everyone "Oh there seems to be a party and I wasn't invited. Kaname smelled the tree people and the beggar what a fowl smell they put off.
