After a short amunt of time, and a pleasant walk, the 9th division captain entered the labs, with a wrinkle of his nose, at the sudden scent of the room. He never had liked the smell of the labs, too many chemicals in the air for his hightened sense of smell. His arms were folded behind his back in a respectful manner, as if to say, this was not his domain, and he was grateful for the permission to be there. he instantly sought out the voice of the soutaichou, moving towards him with careful, measured steps.

The Sanbantai taichou mentally facepalmed as she was singled out by the scientist. Why did he feel the need to say all of that? It didn't matter, since he did mention that this would be important to her and she'd get to do the honors of talking with the first thawed shinigami. However, she wished that the pink-haired man would shut up every once in a while. He talked entirely too much for the violet-eyed woman's liking.
Finally, she was led to the room where the newly reanimated man lay waiting. Everything Ritsuka said went in one ear and out of the other as she moved past him and to the man's side.
Part of her was fascinated by the fact that this man was once frozen and is now living once again. Another part was drawn to the slightly glazed azure orbs that were looking over each of the figures. He seemed lost and confused, the poor guy. Mikoto immediately felt attached to him. Like... an adorable puppy who was just picked up from the rain.
"Hello," she spoke as she stood at his side, a kind smile on her face and completely ignoring everyone else. "I'm Hibiki Mikoto, Sanbantai taichou. You are?"

Rin had followed, silent and watchful. She had said not a word, but watched them with her odd-coloured eyes. The young Captain looked rather perturbed that it seemed to be more of a show. Sure, sure, whoever it was had been sleeping for an ungodly amount of time, they were still a person, and in her opinion should not be made a show of. But she remained silent- though didn't restrain herself from shooting a disdainful glance at the person that was making it into some sort of spectacle. "Well? Who is it then?" she said sharply after a long pause, her thin arms still folded across her chest. Feeling for reiatsu, she quirked an eyebrow. "About Lieutenant-class, I'd say. Is that wrong?"

" It would be hard to say... His spiritual power does not seem to have returned yet, and as im sure you know, I could not tell you based on his physical appearance." echigo said plainly. the man smelled of the reeking liquid he had been stored in, so Echigo kept a bit of a distance, not to be cold, or distrusting, but to save his nose from the burning acrid smell of the chemicals.

Yuji arrived shortly after everyone else had. He got a little turned around when he forgot to make a turn because he was day dreaming, He quickly looked at everyone and then he looked at the one who just woke up. “Whoa is that him?” Yuji was looking him over, he looked like a normal guy. For some reason Yuji didn't expect that.
Omori had just heard about what happened. With out hesitation he got up and left his own division heading for 12th. It didn't take him long to get there so he arrived just after Yuji asked his stupid question. “Everyone stand back from him,” he said as if he was in charge. He walked right up to the man who just woke up and grabbed his face, looking him over with sharp eyes. “I'm Omori-Taichou of Yonbantai so don't worry I'm just making sure you're physically okay.” His voice was a little softer when speaking this time but not much. He took out a small flashlight and turned it on. The light was rather dim. “Try to follow the light with your eyes will you?” he said as he flashed it into his eyes and slowly moved to the left, to the right, up, then down. “I'm amazed that you call for all of them but not me.” he said to Morioka “He just woke up from being frozen like that for how long? The first thing that needs to be done is a medical exam, I mean really.”

Kira looked over the gathering crowd, brows drawn together in confusion and...sorrow? "K-kira Izuru.." He stopped before he gave his title; with how many people were claiming themselves as taichou, he didn't know of what merit he held anymore. The woman speaking to him, he'd all ready forgotten her name, was soft-spoken and kind. The blonde decided that she was pleasant enough. He felt his stiff muscles trying to relax- that is, until another figure came abruptly into view, grabbing his face and assulting him with light. "What...wh-where is Unohana-taichou??" He did as he was told and followed the light, though he had to squint from its brightness. "..Fro..zen?"
Ritsuka bristled as the Yonbantai shoved past and began examining his experiment. I don't recall inviting you, Omori-taichou. I gave him an examination all ready, inside and out, so you're a bit late to the party!" He pointed a finger accusingly at the other doctor before pouting and crossing his arms.
Watching the spectacle, the Soutaichou rolled his eyes and rubbed a temple. "Would you two idiots knock it off?! You're starting to irritate me and you're giving the poor guy a shitty first impression." Sanzo then looked to the frail-looking blonde and heaved a sigh. "She's dead. Along with a majority of the others. Only eight survived the Winter War. They're still in the same state you were. Should have stayed that way, in my opinion.."

Ignoring everyone else around, including the grumpy soutaichou, Mikoto went on to speak to the man since she was the only one who wasn't scaring the crap out of him. Really, some people didn't take into account that the blonde was obviously scared and confused. The medical division's taichou didn't make that any better with this invasive tactics.
"What was your rank and division?" she asked, her voice remaining soft and kind. It's almost like he's a newborn baby... except full grown.
At this point, the Sanbantai taichou felt it was best to ease the man into the information of what had happened. In due time however. There was still the issue lingering that... this guy was still nude. Looking to Ritsuka, she spoke to him. Hopefully some of the loose change around here would be able to fetch up something for him to wear.
"Morioka-taichou, can you please send for some clothing? Kira-kun may catch his death if he remains in this state."

For some reason, Kira felt compelled to answer the redhead, eyes locked on her. "Sanbantai fukutaichou, ma'am.." He felt like he were lost in a completely different world- one that had to be a dream. He was lost in a torrent of thoughts until he heard the small fact that he was naked. In all of the confusion, he hadn't noticed; but now that he had, he curled in on himself, cheeks flushed in embarrassment.
Ritsuka tilted his head slightly, looking over the blonde fukutaichou. "Ahhh, right. Forgot about that bit~" Turning around to address a few members of his division, he barked at them to bring anything they could find for the reanimated Kira. "Here, kid, put your skivvies on," he commented as he unceremoniously tossed him a spare pair of hakama and kosode.

Rin rolled her eyes, scoffing. Rounding her sharp, odd-colored eyes on the people that insisted on crowding the poor chap, she walked closer and waved her arms at them. "All of you, back off some, would you? He just woke up- do you want to suffocate him?" her tone was harsh and sharp, hetero-chromatic eyes then flitting to the former Lieutenant of the Sanbantai. Realizing that she had not yet introduced herself, she gestured at herself, giving a slight toss of her head to remove red locks from her face. "Kurosawa Rin. Captain of the Tenth Division." she stated coolly. Somehow, she was rough and oddly graceful at the same time- some of the learning from the higher class family that adopted her had rubbed off- but as they say, the street never really left the kid.
She then turned to the Twelfth Division Captain, folding her arms across her chest. "Now, sir, where to you intend to keep him? He's no different from the rest of us anymore, albeit slightly more confused- where did you plan on keeping him, hm?" her tone was once again harsh, now, as she rounded on her fellow Captain.

" ...Captain Kotsuke Echigo...of squad nine... also a pleasure to meet you...kira." Echigo said in a voice just loud enough to be heard." Mikoto- taichou, if he is still held in the ranks of squad three's records as a lieutenant, that makes him your acting Lieutenant does it not?" the blind captain remarked to the red head, with what might have resembled a grin.

As if it were a moment of realization, Mikoto's eyes lit up as she heard Kotsuke-taichou speak up. It was true that the newly awakened man was still logged as the fukutaichou of her division. She also recognized that she didn't actually have an acting fuku, so she smiled and nodded, "It would seem that way, wouldn't it?"
Inwardly, she danced happily. All of this meant that since Kira was still technically her fukutaichou, he would be in her care. This was something that she was definitely looking forward to.
"Sanzo-soutaichou," the woman turned and faced the man, bowing deeply. "Please allow me to have Kira Izuru act as my fukutaichou. It would be a heavy paperwork burden to shoulder should he be removed from the records, ne~?"
Mikoto hope that the "less paperwork" option swayed the man to allow her to take the blonde in her care. She wanted to be sure that he took in everything slowly... while still enjoying life and getting back used to the hustle and bustle of Seireitei.

Omori backed off slightly “Well, Kira was it? Your reflex's seem to be normal witch is a good thing.” he nodded his head. “I would like to give you a better look over later though, to make sure that you are okay. So when you feel up to it please report to yonbantai.” he looked at Ritsuka “I don't care if you gave him your examination or not you pink hair twit. I am the one that has training for that not you, your examination is not good enough.” he said with a flat voice, clearly angry that he was not called to do his job. He then brushed his hair out of his eye and it fell right back into place again. “Ether way my job is done for now, Kira Izuru, forgive me for being rude at first. I hope I will see you soon to make sure that you are still in good health.” With that said he walked away headed back to his own squad.
Yuji walked a little closer to Kira and held out his hand for a hand shake “I'm Yuji Shoda, Fukutaichou of squad 5.” he said with a smile. Yuji took it as a great honor to be able to meet one of the old gotei. He would rather it be a captain, however, he was just as honored to be able to meet Kira. “I hope that we can become friends.” he said, after all he wanted to make a good impression.

Ritsuka glowered at the Yonbantai taichou, arms crossed. Something about the man rubbed him the wrong way, and he didn't like how invasive he was. "Listen here, Omori..You've got no business butting in here onto my work. A medical exam is no good at this point, since his body has yet to purge itself of all the toxins. But you wouldn't understand any of that, would you? Don't let the door hit you on the way out~" With that, he promptly flipped his middle finger at the older shinigami.
Now dressed, Kira realized that he was exhausted. He took in the names and faces as they addressed him, but couldn't keep track of all of them with how fast things were happening. However, when Mikoto requested to Sanzo that he return to his duties as fukutaichou, his lips tugged into a small smile.
Sanzo didn't care what happened one way or another as he lit up again, rolling his eyes at the building headache everyone was giving him. At the mention of how much paperwork truly went into taking someone out of the records, he made a face of disdain and a curt nod of his head. "If he's still enlisted as Sanbantai fukutaichou, then that means that he's still under your command as taichou. Do what you want, but if so much as one file shows up on my desk, I'm kicking both of your asses."

Violet eyes lit up and sparkled once the words left the soutaichou's lips. The redhead tried her best from glomping the man after he allowed Kira to remain in her division. Mikoto was ecstatic! She wanted to break into a happy dance right there in front of everyone, but she refrained from doing as such. However, when no one is looking, there was definitely going to be a celebratory "booty dance" later on. For now, she bowed deeply and expressed her gratitude.
"Arigatou gozaimasu, soutaichou!" she said unable to keep her tone from sounding overly excited. "I'll make sure that you won't have to kick our asses!"
Approaching the blonde, Mikoto gave him a polite bow along with a smile. Her face was glowing with happiness and if one would look close enough, they would be able to see a very bright and pleasant aura around her. This was definitely exciting and she couldn't wait to show her fukutaichou around and give him updates on all that's happen while he was "sleeping". For now though, he needed to rest... and probably eat as well. He would also need his zanpakutou and she was sure that Juunibantai were able to preserve those as well.
"Morioka-taichou," Mikoto began with a light sing-song tone. "The zanpakutou of the 'sleepers' have been preserved, yes? When you have the chance, please send his to Sanbantai. It's..."
Turning to Kira, she gestured to him with her hand. This obviously indicated that she was asking him to speak the name of his zanpakutou and describe it so that it may be retrieved.(( The celebratory "booty dance" LMAO! ))

Omori was about to walk out of the door when he stopped and turned around. He walked as close as he could to Ritsuka and talked in a quiet but harsh voice. “Now you listen to me, I don't tell you how to play with your little experiments because I don't know about them. You know nothing of my work and how I do it, so don't you tell me whats going on with him medically.” He was clearly pissed off at this point, as he often was. “If he were to die because you were the only one to do an examination on him then what, huh? I'll leave the science to you but you damn well better leave the medical stuff to me, is that clear?” he said, his left hand was where his zanpakuto would be if he had it with him. “I don't like you and you don't like me, it's clear, but be responsible and let me do my job.” With this last thing, his voice wasn't as harsh. It sounded like it had more concern in it than anything.
