All of the ice quickly melted and the ice that Ninotchka had slipped away and back to the main puddle. Zack reformed and grunted with pain as he grasped his right arm. His right arm seemed to be suffering from really back burn marks and was obviously hurting quite a lot. He growled in frustration as he put his sword away and pulled out his secondary weapon, the black trident. He firmly grasped it and was furious with the teacher for using heat on him. He pointed the spear like weapon at her threateningly as he tried to formulate a plan. Unfortunately he was to outraged to think clearly and so he lost himself in the battle and began to charge at her.

Instinct, drilled into Ninotchka as a child, took over and she drew a short sword from its sheath at her hip. Charging advances were rather easy to stop, and, swinging her sword saber style she deflected the blow. An easy enough movement, all that was needed was for her sword to be held up then moved to one side as the other weapon, though this was even easier when the other was also a blade, passed. Rather happy with the spar and mildly worn, Ninotchka did not counter after blocking. Instead she pushed Zack away with a pleased grunt. Then she waited to see if he would do anything next. It seemed to her that he struck out in rage when hurt, either emotionally or physically, or when he became frustrated. Normally this would be fine, but it was not fine-hence her having to take him aside-for he seemed to have a rather short fuse. Very dangerous.

Zack was growing continuously frustrated as all his attacks seemed to not do a thing to the teacher. Taking a deep breath, Zack tried to calm down. He did not know how far this teacher intended to allow this spar to go and so he needed to concentrate. Slowly he started to twirl his trydent around, he closed his eyes and the twirling started to pick up speed and he stretched his arms out to the side. His hands slowly and smoothly started to swing to the front of him while he continued to swirl and twirl his trydent. Once his hands met the trydent switched hands and he moved his hands back to their own sides. Finnaly he opened his eyes and startded to switch hands more frequently. He startded to switch hands behind his back, over his head, and even through his legs. All of this was not for show boating or even to threaten her, all he was doing was distracting her while he calmed down and made a plan of attack. In other words, it was his strategy.

Ninotchka's eyes ignored the spinning of the trident, it wasn't very hard for her to do. Instead she watched the student, observed him as he spun the weapon around. With the click of her fingers she sent the trident out of his hand, playtime was over. Thinking and strategy were over rated in her old line of work, and she'd found that in waiting for the paper work on your strategy to go through precious time was lost only to be spent waiting in the open.

Sighing lightly as his weapon was launched from his hands. He took a deep breath as he made the hand signs that her was taught by Raine. He then clearly said "Ventus calamus" A wind tunnel shot from his hands and straight at Ninotchka. Zack smiled happily as he finally managed to do the spell. He drew his sword and charged at her while she was distracted by his spell. But of coarse there sas a draw back, he was now exhausted and needed to end this quickly.

Putting her arms up Ninotchka blocked the wind from hitting her busty chest straight on, instead it hit her wrists and knocked her back a few feet. Looking at the charging boy, and quickly judging how close he was she leaned back and allowed herself to fall down onto the ground then she rolled to the right.

When Zack missed with his sword he fell to the ground, he breathed heavily as he said "I'm done. I am way to exhausted to continue."

Zack grabbed her hand and got to his feet. He gave a low bow and put his sword away. He grabbed his trydent and put it away as well. He wave to the teacher and headed off for his dorm.

Zack sighed as he looked down at a sheet of paper and said to himself "Well it tells me to come here to catch up... but where is Rain?" He shrugged and decided to wait, she would probably turn up sooner or later.

"You know the first spell correct? I suggest we start with that one considering the next is parallel to your powers and if I remember correctly you had troubles with air spells-perhaps earth is more your thing, but I don't know," Raine began as she entered the room with a faint smile on her lips, "Thank you for coming in, I'll try not to keep you very long."

Zack nodded and said "Thank you for your time... and I am very sorry about my little scene in your class, I hope you can forgive me." He bowed slightly at Raine as a sign of respect.

"Time means almost nothing to me. As for the incident in class, thing's like that used to occur all the time in the past-however then they had different effects. Now, I suggest we begin reviewing that spell. You remember the words and action correct? If it is so, then I want you to try and hit that target," Raine instructed as she pointed at one of the nearby targets.

Zack nodded and looked over at the target she pointed out. He sighed as he prayed that he could get the spell right a second time. He held his hands out and made the motion she showed in class as best as he could and clearly said "Ventus calamus" Wind shot out of his hands and knocked the target back a small distance before it fell over. Zack smiled at his success and turned back to the teacher hoping for a bit of praise, but in no way did he expect to get any.

"Wonderful! A bit of practice later on and perhaps and you'll have that spell mastered. I'm going to need your opinion now though, there are four more spells I need to teach you-but one deals closely with heat and fire. I want to know if you'd be alright with learning the earth spell next followed by one of the alchemics, then the fire and topped with the final practicable spell," Raine asked as she observed.
