Joanne Benson Inventor Extraordinaire Necessity is the mother of invention, it is true
Jo was dancing her way though the halls of Ouran High. Gracefully side-stepping the many people she passed. Techno music blasted from her large head-phones and she had a huge smile on her face and though her eyes were closed she didn't once lose her footing. Lot's of passerby's stopped to stare at her.
There were many reasons for this. One was the fact that she was a foreigner and this was her first day at Ouran. Another was the strange dancing and yet another was the fact that she was wearing a male students uniform... and the tie as a headband. Appearence-wise there was plenty to stare at but that wasn't the only reason for the gawking.
On her shoulder there sat a large shiny metalic spider about the size of a softball. It had multiple lenses on each side, all were scanning Jo's surroundings cataloging relevant information and discerning threat levels.
But Jo didn't bother to stop and answer their silent questions instead she merely began to moon walk her way around a corner successfully bumping into a black-haired boy. but its father is creativity, and knowledge is the midwife

Also called Hibari Kyouya!! Kira sighed. He felt a bump. "Eh?" Kira looked at the girl.
"Look what you did, Hibari-kun. You bumped into a a girl.", said Ryo. Of course, he was teasing him again.
"I didn't do it on purpose." Kira growled. Again he heard Hibari.
" Stop calling me that!"
"It slipped. My bad.", he said, apologetically. He chuckled under his breath.
"Whatever.", he stated. "I'm sorry, miss."
Kuro patted Kira's head. "Don't mind this one, he's only 15. Unlike us of 17." Strangely, Kuro's language style was a lot more correct than of the others.
Kira nodded. "I wouldn't listen to them, they like teasing me." Kira put the book in his book bag.
Kira then heard Daisuke start again with his Tamaki styled grammar. He admired him so much he tried to be just like him, except with Kyouya's looks."Oh great." Daisuke knelt on one knee and said, "Please excuse my dear friends. They just love teasing our young friend." He kissed her hand.
"Really, Daisuke. You don't have to do that to every girl that bumps into any of us." Daisuke said,"But then it wouldn't be polite to a beautiful lady such as this one." He looked up to her and smiled.

The red-head opened an eye and turned around. She pulled off her head-phones. "Eh? Oh hey s'no trouble." She said with a grin. Looking up at Kuro She laughed. "Hey now nuttin' wrong with bein' young."
When Diasuke knelt and took her hand Joanne bust out laughing. "Dude are you being serious right now?!" She pulled her hand away and left him to kiss air. She looked up at the guys. "Names Jo by the way. Who are you guys?"
As she spoke the little mechanical spider began clicking and whirring crawling on top of Jo's head to get a better veiw of the boys. Snapping photos of them and recording important information. but its father is creativity, and knowledge is the midwife

Also called Hibari Kyouya!! Kira tilted his head so that Kuro's hand dangled to his side. "Well, still, I'm sorry." Kira smiled in her direction.
Ryo smiled mischievously. "Do I see some chemistry?"He put his hand on Kira's head.
"Please stop that." Kira sighed to him. He smacked the large hand on his head. Kira usually got irritated by them, but they were his friends since birth. Except for Kuro, who was his cousin.
"Hey, Kuro-Sama, you're coming over today, right?"
"Yeah, my mom wants me to bring over some stuff for your mom. You know for the cancer." Kuro was very helpful towards Kira's family. He would always try his best to help out one way or another.
Kira then heard her talk."I'm Kira Sanada.", he said sadly.
"Ryo Mitsuoka."
"Kuro Yamada." He smiled i her direction with his thumb over his lip.
"Daisuke Nakamura."He stood up and looked at her. Daisuke was very tall compared to them, except for Ryo.
Kira turned to Daisuke. He looked at his gray eyes. It was amazing that someone who looked like Ootori Kyouya would want to be like Suoh Tamaki. Though nothing was wrong with Tamaki. It was just strange to Kira."Hm." Daisuke looked at him and smiled. "Hm?" Kira shook his head no.
"So how are you, uh, Jo?" Kira asked. He decided to start a conversation as there was nothing else to do. He didn't really want to go to his next class and find out that he was in the wrong one. ______________________________________________ ... Joanne watched in amusement as the boys talk but the humor left her face when she heard him mention cancer. Her own mother was long dead from the disease and she immediately felt a sense of commaradery between her and Kira. "Pleasure to meet you all." She said smiling at them.
She looked to Kira and said. "Well I'm still adjusting. You know new country and all that but I recently got a job and I'm doing fairly well."
The mechanical spider had made it's way onto the wall and was now crawling onto Kira's shoulder making more clicking sounds. Jo didn't seem to think this was odd at all. but its father is creativity, and knowledge is the midwife

Also called Hibari Kyouya!! Kira turned his head, inch by inch, looking at the mechanical spider. "Oh my god! Get it off me!!!" Kira was freakishly afraid of spiders.
Ryo laughed. "Come on, Kira. It's not even real."He picked up the robotic arachnid and let it crawl all over him.
"I hate spiders. They're freaky." Kira shivered at it. Ever since he found one crawling in his shirt, he was terrified by them. He stepped away from Ryo, not wanting to get close to them.
"So where were you originally from?"
Al four of them had lived in Japan their whole lives."Yeah. You said you were adjusting to Japan." Kira rubbed his eyes. He hadn't gotten much sleep from watching anime all night.
Kira said,"Man I'm tired." He hoped his mother was alright. Last night she had been coughing, that was another reason he couldn't sleep.
"Mom, still keeping you up?"
"Yeah. But it's no big deal." He yawned and fixed his book bag.
"Well, if you ever need help, you need to call us over." He suggested. Daisuke sighed as he hated knowing that people were ill.
Kira sighed deeply. "Can we please change the subject?" Kira felt a tear form in the corner of his eye. He was very sensitive about his mother.

Jo snorted and bust out laughing at Kira's Reaction to her invention. "No need to be afraid of little A.S.U. He's just catalogging. Gathering info for future reference." She recovered from her fit of laughter and said. "I'm from the U.S. born and bred in New York City."
At Kira's mentiong that he was tired Jo patted his head gently. "Not that it's my buisness but you should try to sleep more. Trust me. In my personal experience I realized I wasn't any use to the people I cared for when I didn't take care of myself." A bitter-sweet smile covered her face as the memory of her mom slipped into her mind. but its father is creativity, and knowledge is the midwife

Ryo looked at them. "It shouldn't be scary if it won't hurt you. Unless it bites for a blood sample."Ryo grabbed the spider and handed it to Jo.
"New York City, huh?" Kira tapped his chin thinking about the world map and the U.S map.
"Is that in, umm, New.. York?"
Kuro was still a little curious. "So why did you move to Japan?" I mean, new York City wasn't half bad. Kuro had been there as a foreign exchange student and thought it was fun.
Kira asked,"Yeah, why?"
Kira then heard Jo's remark about sleeping more. "I guess. But My mother is also a little immobile now so she can't really get around the house much and last night she tried to and fell out of bed."

Joanne smiled taking ASU. "Naw unless you send him into attack mode he's harmless." She laughed once more at Kira's statement. "Yeah It's in New York and I came to Japan as an exchange student."
She looked at Kira and nodded. "You know I have some experience in caring for Cancer patients. If you need help I'd be willing to pitch in. Here lemme give my number." Taking out a small note-pad Jo scribbled out her name and number and handed it to him. "Call any time." She said with a smile. but its father is creativity, and knowledge is the midwife

Ryo gave a mischievous smile. "Ohh, Kira.~~"Ryo nudged the boy with his elbow.
Kira growled. He said,"You know it's not like that, so shut up." Kira turned away. He thought of a comeback
"At least I got a number."
On the side Kuro was laughing at Kira's remark. He turned to Kira and said, "Good one, cousin." They turned to each other and gave a high five.
Kira laughed too. "I know, right?"
Ryo groaned, unhappily. "So?"
Kuro put the number into his bag. "I think I'm gonna skip next period. It's not like anyone notices me anyway." Kira sighed as he put one of his hands in his hair. ______________________________________________ ...
