I've seen people that some how hinge the pad onto a wooden stand. If you're not that creative, then i suggest buying velcro...I thought about doing it but...never actually gave it a shot yet...

If you want to spend some big bucks ($300 O_o), get a CobaltFlux metal pad. They're metal pads that are thinner than the arcade pads. They're compatible with all systems (except maybe Gamecube). Several people have recommended it and now I'm saving up for one. They have a website but I don't know the address.

I have the mats move ALL the time, and so my suggestion is to cut out a square piece of wood about 2 inches thick, the same width and length of the DDR mat and stick some of that material that prevents things from..moving? Um, like the stuff underneath your socks that prevent you from slipping. Squared,...squishy cells in a mat like-pattern. Stick some double-sticky-sided tape on it and put it underneath the piece of wood after you've wrapped it in a cotton fabric. That's what my dad did for me anyways and it worked. xd (I have horrible vocabulary, I don't what those things are called sweatdrop )

You can buy pads that are almost exactly like the real pads but they cost like 200 dollars! xp

Well, here's something you can try, but I don't highly recommend it:
Duct tape your mat to the floor, then duct tape the duct tape to the floor, then duct tap the mat to the floor some more.
I should actually try stuff like that...
My mats break the fifteen mph speed limit on my street. mrgreen

MetalMaster2004 I recommend the Red Octane Afterburner pads. Why the ******** did you revive the thread only to recommend a really crappy pad?
