"No, I can't'"with a slight pause Bug mumbled under her breath "I don't know how too."
It didn't take long for Bug to snap an anwser back for Vance "I named myself!"
Vance seemingly proud of his name, and so was Bug for her's

"Really?!" He asked excitedly. "I woulda named myself if I knew I could." He furrowed his brow a bit, but the disappointment didn't last long. He really liked the name he was given. "Bug is a cool name!" He exclaimed.
Vance looked around at the mess that had been made. He started to look worried, fidgeting with the fabric of his pajamas. "Daddy doesn't like messes. He'll be mad." He said with a small pout. He liked his new friends, but messes made daddy angry if they were outside his own bedroom. Could he clean this all up before his daddy got up? He wasn't even sure what time was a decent time. The concept of time was not an issue with a toddler, only that messes equaled bad.

"Oh? what would Vance name himself?" Bug was very interested in Vance's answer, most adults didn't approve of her name let alone comment that they'd wished to to have named themselves. Vance made Bug feel great full that she had that choice.

Wei made a heavy sigh, Bug copied Wei but she didn't know why they were sighing. Wei thought about it for a moment on what they should do, she really hated 'cleaning' it took too long for her liking. " Well it is almost sunrise, lot of people get up shortly after, Vance where's the biggest window that opens, that's not near you're daddy's bedroom?"

Vance stared blankly at Bug for a moment, his mouth slightly agape as he pondered what he would have named himself if given the chance. Now that he thought about it, naming was hard! "I like my name." He decided again after some pondering. No use in changing it now.
"Windows open?" Vance thought a bit about the nearest opening window. "I unno. We have a door that looks like a window. It has a pool behind it., but I'm not 'llowed in there. He said, pointing to the door in the living room that led to the back patio.

After intently waiting for Vance's answer was taken back by his reply. She really was expecting more than that, but what could she do. Bug shrugged and agreed "Yeah, it is."
"Most do anyways, it's how we get into places 14 times out of 10." Wei bopped Bug on the back of the head while saying " Don't tell him that, he might get ideas." "Ow, But it's trrruuuuue."
Wei put her arms on her hips and told the kidlets to sit nice and still, while she opened the door to the pool.
Bug leaned over to Vance and whispered in his ear."Wei's got magic, she can make water do things, watch, it's cool."

So windows could open. Why? Wasn't that what doors were for?
Vance turned curiously to Bug, figeting with his sleeves. "Magic?!" He asked with awe. He wanted to see! The red eyed boy's smile grew wide as his attention went back to Wei. She was a big kid, so she was probably allowed outside, therefore he felt no need to stop her.

Bug put a finger up to her lips "Shhhhhh." she commanded Vance. Bug wanted her new friend so see and what she meant by magic.
Wei closed her eyes while spreading her arms out wide, she started illuminating a strange blueish glow.
With a bright flash her body glow disappeared and the pool's water was now floating into the house wiping up the mess on the floors, cabinets, etc.
Bug started lightly nudging Vance with her elbow, "Isn't that cool? Isn't it?!"

Vance gasped and started jumping from foot to foot. This was amazing! Real magic! "Ooooh!" He exclaimed as quietly as he could. He'd never seen anything like this before. "It's so cool!" Vance gazed in awe at the incredible feat, moving around to watch the water clean his house.
"How'd you do that?" He asked Wei, looking over at the magic-girl with wonder. He wished he could do cool stuff like this! Maybe the water itself was magic..
"You should come over to play again." Vance asked Bug after the water show was over. "Bug is fun!" Vance never thought that Donovan might find it odd that Vance would know some girl without having witnessed him meeting anyone. After all, how would Vance have met others without Donovan to oversee him? Oops.

Bug was happy that Vance was interested in Wei's magic, she began to giggle as Vance started jumping.
Wei gave the little boy a grin "I can because I'm possessed by a dragon, I can heal people too. So if you're ever sick or hurt come find me, we live in an old boat house, but don't tell anyone."
Bug gasped, Wei never would willingly tell someone where they lived, she must have like Vance a lot to let him know where they lived. That made her happy, maybe she could even have Vance come over to play at their house next time.
Bug nodded to her new friend's invitation "As long as you come over to my our house after that!" Bug wrapped her arms around Vance and gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek, "Vance is fun too!"
"Yeah, you're pretty cool kid, you can hang with us anytime if you see us around."

A dragon?! Vance was in total awe now. He had the most AWESOME friends. He wondered if maybe she swallowed the dragon whole. He giggled at the thought, but said nothing.
Vance hugged Bug in return, but was mildly shocked at the kiss on the cheek. What was that for? Wow, she was just so friendly! He smiled happily and nodded. "I will! It'll be an adventure!" He didn't even know where a boathouse is or was, but he'd figure stuff like that out later, right? How hard could it be?
Vance grinned wildly at Wei's comment. He was....cool?! "Yay! I will!" He squealed happily. He waved at Wei and Bug, scuttling back to his room so he could go back to bed in time. All this secret meeting and food eating and magic was so exasperating, that he forgot he didn't need to look like he'd been sleeping, since he always woke-up before Donovan anyway.
He climbed into his bed, seemingly wide awake for a moment or so, before all the excitement of the night caught up with him, and he fell right asleep.

Bug was happy that their new friend wanted to come see them at their place too, and that he hug her back.
Bug and Wei waved back at Vance as he vanished into down the hall and into his room. The two girls stood there for a moment, slightly hoping Vance would make his way back to them, but he didn't so the two decided it was time to head home. as the were leaving Wei whisked the teacup that was left on the table off and into one of her deep pockets, and Bug took a pen. They slipped through the door and made their way through the town, they had a busy night and were ready to take a nap.
