Sai simply stared in wonderment at the two before him, his left eye twitching rapidly as he did. The child he could understand and forgive... the boy had been poisoned for a long amount of time and it would obviously take a heavy toll on his body, something he would not be prepared for or capable of moving on from but...

His jaw tightened, the muscle visibly flexing from beneath his skin, as he slowly approached Soba's sleeping body. This was a trained shinobi and he easily went to sleep while him and his student was under Sai's hostile care? After what? A simple shot to the gut... If there was something he despised more then the fool hearty young that always had their eyes on glory and fame were those who ended up in a position of trust and respect but abused it.

The man had just said that the two being alive was all based on his judgment of their capability, and yet Soba easily fell asleep to leave both of them helpless to an attack? No questioning of how they could prove useful? No responsible action what so ever?

"You know...." Sai whispered softly to himself as he kept his eyes trained on Soba's sleeping form, his gun firmly held in his hand in case the man was feigning his sleep to attempt an escape. "... I can't stand irresponsible, pathetic, incapable, unintelligent, worthless, pieces-of-s**t sensei's like you." The man grunted in a soft whisper as he started with a kick to Soba's nose and continued to reign kick after kick to his body with each insult before ending with his foot tightly pressed against his throat and his gun aimed at the man's forehead.

Taking a moment to recompose himself, Sai turned to look at Notwen's sleeping body. His jaw was still clenched as he turned to look back at Soba. He truly wanted to shoot the man a couple times and shout but the whole point of him grunting and whispering out his words was to make sure not to disrupt Notwen's sleep, the boy needed it and with the amount of fatigue in him that much of noise wouldn't bother him in the least. "Some sensei you are. Aren't you supposed to accompanying this child to make sure nothing happens to him? Yet you fell asleep right after I tell you the conditions of your survival, tch... Pathetic. And just out of curiosity, why the hell did you allow such an inexperienced kid out of the main village when your country is in high alert?"

Vyrin sighed softly to himself as he shifted in his seat to rest normally, his eyes dully watching Sai interact with Soba. Personally he thought they should have just killed them right off the back from the start. Whatever use or service they could provide could and would be better off being done by either him or Sai, as they would be able to do it faster, better, and wouldn't cause some annoying backfire that these two were more then likely to cause... but maybe that was what Sai wanted. It would not be that far fetched to believe Sai wanted to set these two up for a big fall and draw some of the heat and attention off of himself... even though it seemed as though it made little difference in the first place.

Shaking his head softly to himself, Vyrin pulled his hat from his head and ran his fingers through his dark hair. Whatever it was, Sai knew what he was doing... he always did, so he was probably better off not worrying about it so much and just let things go as Sai wished.

A small smile began to etch its way across his lips as he let his mind wander around, his thoughts finding themselves back on the fateful day he first met Sai...

-Flash Back-

Now a little ways into is thirties, Sai sat quietly in a dark hut with his eyes trained carefully on a young boy. The child's deep seated red eyes blaring with a devious curiousity that was only kept at bay from the fear he was holding for the man. With a gruff laugh Sai turned away from the boy, his hand gripping the sides of his mouth and stretching it in a stressful manner. The boy could have been no older then perhaps eight? Possibly nine. More likely the kid was nine. It wouldn't be strange if he was younger but it was ten years ago that his mother and Sai's brother had became intimate, though out of the eyes of the public. And it was also ten years ago that the woman had almost but completely disappeared from the shinobi world when taking residence in whirlpool. It was very likely that Vykin had choosen to do so because she had become pregnant with Sorain's child.. This being kid before him being that very child.

A sigh pressed it's way through Sai's lips as he took another look at the child. He had his mother's eyes and her deep, powerful fury that had been her strength through everything in the world. Even though he was only at most nine years, his frame was muscled and slightly bulky. His stance, the way his face contorted ruefully when he thought he was correct or knew something someone else didn't, the manner he held himself as though the entire world owed him something... It was all Vykin, his mother's entire being was sketched into him and yet everytime he looked at him he couldn't but see his brother. He couldn't but see those red eyes that held pupils just as easily being without, that at any moment the traits of the Byakugan or even perhaps the Sharingan would shine through. That perhaps the way he seemed to take in everything he looked at as some sort of threat or the way he kept seemingly collected even when he was on the edge of imploding with anger. But it was to little... He still wasn't sure if the kid could be Sorain's, he wanted to believe it wasn't and take the kid in without any form of guilty conscious... He wanted to know it was so he could reunite the child with his father... But either way came with consquences, some that he would never be able to bear but had no choice too...

"So... Are you hungry?" Sai asked, instantly feeling the huge age difference between him and the kid. He was thirty-three and the child was nine, twenty-four years. Twenty-god-damn-long-four years difference and he was feeling the difference as the child turned his eyes on Sai, redness in them that wasn't from his pupils showing that he had just been crying while Sai was thinkning to himself. With a grunt Sai turned away and sighed yet again to himself, he had lost touch with his child like self during the war. He had lost his country, his friends, the love of his life, so much... So much that had all turned him into a hard veterain warrior that did nothing more then learned to survive. "I'll take that as a no..." He mumbled to himself, feeling the an awkward barrier forming and strengthening between the two. He couldn't imagine why he had wanted to be a father all those years ago, he didn't know a thing about taking care of a child. He had had plenty of apprentices but that was surely different, wasn't it? He couldn't exactly do that to a child could he?

Turning to look at the boy again, who was no curled up on the corner of his bed with his little chest raising and falling gently, Sai pondered the question. The boy was the son of Vykin and possibly Sorain, there was no doubt that the woman had trained him incase he was faced with the dangers of her enemies chasing them... But he was still only a young child and most definitely not prepared for the mental trails of Sai's forms of training, he knew for a fact Vykin may have trained the boy hard but there was absolutely she hadn't pushed him to the point where his bones broke and his mind could shatter. That was a definite... Vykin could be cruel but she would never be as sadistic as he could be, at least not to someone she cared about let alone her own son. There was absolutely no alternative in this situation, he would simply have to do his best as a father figure... Or at least be a gentler sensei... That, that could be do able right?

"Well, if you do get hungry let me know... Your going to need your strength, it'll be a long trip from here back to Water Country." Sai said softly before stretching on his own bed with a tired yawn, his bright blue eyes training on the ceiling above him as he shifted his currently long main of hair to rest on his chest. Sighing he made his final attempt to make conversation with the boy, "You know... Me and your mom were really close friends and used to fight alongside each other back in the day? Way back in the day, around twenty or so years ago actually. Mm.. Well I suppose you don't care, but if you ever want to know about her just ask." He finished slowly as he realized that the boy hadn't even bothered to even slightly give him any notice. "Anyways, what is your name?"

"...Vyrin."

-Present Time-

Clicking his tongue against the side of his mouth, Vyrin pushed himself up to stand and took a few steps from the fire, his eyes staring off into the distance. The group was currently resting on a beach that extended from the main ports... "I'm going to check out the area, k?" Vyrin spoke softly as he walked past the Sai and Soba, noting the man as he gave a silent nod before continuing on to walk to the ports.

Vyrin's red eyes flickered from side to side every so often as he made his way to the ports. A large ferry stood quietly there, the crew obviously disturbed and anxious to leave. For a moment Vyrin watched them, curious to why they were still there and making guesses at how long they would leave behind whatever they were waiting for, that being Phaeton and Aya who had arrived much earlier. With a sigh he turned his attention to the rest of the port, the docks loomed all along the coast line and boats were tied to their posts everywhere he looked. It was rather strange to see them all there, not a single one missing but Vyrin shrugged it off and made a simple note of it in his mind so he could report it back to Sai later.

Letting a grin play against his lips, Vyrin shifted his goggles to his face, buttoned his coat closed and pulled his gloves securely onto his hand. It was time to do some recon and the last thing he needed was for anyone to spot him now of all times.

Pressing the palms of either of his hands against each other, he bent them against each other until his fingers let out a soft pop from their joints before throwing his hands to either side of him and waving them loose as he jumped up and down in the same fashion a boxer would do right before a fight. Checking his goggles one more time, he took in a deep breath and closed his eyes, his teeth gritting tightly as he allowed his technique to take effect on him.

From the center of his body he began to collect and condense his chakra, allowing it to manifest for a short moment before imbuing it with both his wind and water elemental chakra. It was originally a process that took many hours to finish but now Vyrin was capable of doing it in a matter of seconds... and within a matter of seconds the chakra took form as multiple small crystals within his body. Rapidly the chakra washed over his body as it took form, and the crystals formed within his muscles, taking on a dark black hue as the muscles spasm for a split second before returning to normal.

His smile stretched proudly across his lips... and then he was gone.

Oasis couldn't help but take note of the quiet of her allies. She took a deep breath in and looked at her surroundings, she enjoyed the appearance of the trees, but she was concerned by the fact that she could not feel the presence of any animals. Why could she not sense them? She took note of the silence of the people that she didn't see, but she was able to excuse away the quiet with thinking they were sleeping or something along those lines. However the lack of animal presence was really confusing her. She paused and sat down on the ground crossing her legs and closing her eyes, it was odd Oasis being so quiet suddenly, however she was attempting to reach into her senses and see where the animals had gone off to, she hadn't seen so many animals before as she had on the caravan ride to the ferry, and now that she didn't see any more of them it was disturbing to her, she figured if there were that many in the forest there had to be a lot of animals here too right? As she focused she was more clearly able to hear the lack of sounds around her. When she opened her eyes after a few inutes she was ready to scope out the scene and see what was really happening.

Aya move along a little down the dock they were on, and looked at what seemed to be a information sign, it had welcome to Marky written over a map of the town, the town it self seem rather small when compared with other village Aya had seen and heard about, looking at the map, Aya was able to learn that the village was built in such a manner to protect the inland a little more, it seem that there was a forest and some farm on the other side of the town from where they were. Aya looked at the boats and the town, only to get another shiver run down her spine, she looked back at Phaeton as he walked back to her, he had told the captain to stay or something, but just looking at the crew she could tell they wanted to leave, and it was more then likely that the would before they got back, if so it would be up to Aya and Phaeton to get off another way, looking at the boats in dock a few would be good for them, seeing as they only one person to use them.

Phaeton began to walk on without talking to Aya, it seemed he really wanted to get this underway, or a least get this over with fast, Aya followed after Phaeton as he walked off into the town slowly, Aya was really uneasy as they walk along the road, she was looking at the buildings and at the ground as they walk. That lack of sound was the thing really getting to Aya at the moment, any noise would be good at the moment would make her feel better, but at the same time that would creep her out. As she looked at some of the building a little closer, she notice that that had no real damage on them of any kind, maybe a little from aging near the sea, but they was no damage that would suggest a disaster like they had been told, or of them being taken off by someone, and they weren't any drag mark on the dirt around the house of on the road. As she thought back she remembered that all the boats had still been tied up in the dock, and how unnerved that sailors had been, when only a few hours ago they had been in a good old mood on the boat, something was really wrong here, and Aya only wanted to run away at the moment.

Phaeton soon stopped and allowed Aya to catch up to him, as she did Phaeton spoke up on her 'Byakugan', she had forgotten to use it due to the eerie nature of the village, and he began to teach her how to use his 'Mind's Eye of the Kagura', as she practice with it she notice that it had a different feel to her 'Byakugan', and it had a different effect on her ability, her 'Byakugan' gave her greater insight then 'Mind's Eye of the Kagura', but 'Mind's Eye of the Kagura' gave a greater search range at the moment and better accuracy. "Well I'll begin my search, and you do another search, but this time, let not look for people but more things that are out of place alright". Aya say as she calmed her mind and used her Byakugan, Aya and Phaeton had seemed to make it near the center of the town.

Aya Hyuuga Used
---Base Skill Used: "Byakugen"
+5 from it's accuracy

---Base Stat: Intelligence
196(x2) = 392

---Buffs: "Calm Mind, Calm Spirit"
+105 awareness

---Innate Clan Buffs:
+100 (Hyuuga Sight), and +50 (Tracking Bugs) = +150

So 392 + 105 + 150 + 5 = 652. Or a +65.2% chance on top of your normal 50% chance, this gives you a 115.2% chance.

We then apply the vs of 300 (or -30%)
1152 - 300 = 842 (or 84.2%) or 84%.

This means you have to roll 84 or lower on 1D100 to succeed.

---Base Stat: Intelligence
255(x2) = 510

---Buffs: Glasses

---Innate Clan Buffs: none

So 510 + 0 + 300 = 810. Or a +81% chance on top of your normal 50% chance, this gives you a 131% chance.

We then apply the vs of 300 (or -30%)
1310 - 300 = 1010 (or 101%) or 101%.

"I was feigning sleep, but not to get away." whispered Soba, with his eyes still closed, "I would let nothing happen to Notwen, not after all he's been through." He raised himself on his arm and looked at Sai dead in the eyes. "It happened three years ago, so the memory is still fresh." Soba continued in a hushed tone. "A band of five rogue shinobi attacked the village during the night. The four underlings created a diversion at key points in the village, while their leader came and laid waste to what was left Notwen's family. Notwen witnessed the deaths of his siblings. In order to keep him from going wild, we had to convince him that his mother was killed in an accident trying to protect innocent villagers. The man behind her death is the same man responsible for his siblings'. He goes by Dokuro, but in truth his name is Necrai Uchiha, Notwen's father!" stressed Soba paused, trying to contain his rage. "That day he had already made the oath of vendetta, and in order to keep a close eye on him, for he was my student in the academy, i asked the Kazekage to let me have him in my care. Over the three years that followed, i've been training him how to use this technique..." Soba gathered the heat in the surrounding area and accumulated it in his palm, shaping it into a rotating sphere. "This is the basic form of Calormen, which Notwen perfected in one year." Soba let the glowing orange orb evaporate into the night. "It can cause massive damage and burns. I was going to begin teaching him the 'Endan' variant that launches the jutsu in a cannon-like fashion when we saw your dragon." Soba looked over at the sleeping figure of his beloved student, then back at Sai. "I left the village with him to make sure he was okay and to further his training. He wasn't getting along with any of the academy students or genin. He has no friends. I know what kind of people those situations tend to breed..." he said, half to Sai and half to himself, remembering the incident that cost him his right arm. "I'm the only one Notwen trusts. Now i see why he tried to attack you, lord Orasaki. He sees Dokuro in you, a pinnacle that he has yet to surpass. How may we be of service to you, lord Orasaki? I myself am an experienced chuunin."

"Perhaps I should explain the mission now, it should explain things better for you both..." Hatsuma stated after Oasis had surveyed the area. "the mission, in addition to searching for the missing nomad shinobi, is to investigate the recent destruction of this island nation... we are to report our findings to the elder on our return should we do so." Hatsuma said bluntly her explanation to the point with no sugar coating on it. "first thing is first we should get our bearings on the ruins and see if there is any life left, though I doubt we'll find much of anything..." Hatsuma began making her way down the vacant street looking about to see if she can find anything.

Fuyu looked over at Hatsuma and quirked his head. There were two missions? Why weren't they informed before going here? It could have made things a little easier for everyone since they'd be ready for it. But then again, it was sort of similar so it was not that bad. "Alright, well I'm going to go check the left hand side. I think to get some clue's we'd better split... If there are any objections let me know..." And with that, Fuyu jumped over to the left hand side and started to slowly wander the street. It was time for him to use his eyes for a change. With that, he focused his chakra to his eyes and light flooded his brain. While looking around the streets, there were a few things that he noticed; The only movements were theirs and that it looked like everyone just left and walked away. There was something not right, he just couldn't put his finger on what he was missing. Hopefully everyone else was having a better search of the village.

Oasis nodded lightly as she stood up from her meditation and listened to what Hatsuma had to sa, she was bothered by the apparent lack of evidence as to where the people had gone off to, from what she could tell thy had all just vanished into thin air or something. From what she was able to tell so far, everyone just vanished, there were some telltale signs for where they had been, and where they were at last, but there was no evidence of where they had gone off to. Oasis looked over to Hatsuma curiously. A double mission? So they were searching for a missing nomad, Hatsuma's father? She tipped her head to the side as she explained the second half of the mission, so then they needed to figure out what happened to these people. She didn't hear anyone, or see anything that gave any sort of clue as to what happened here. "Thats a pretty good idea." she states as she followed Hatsuma, "I... do not think we should split up right away Fuyu, we should stay with our team, while we don't see anyone now it would be bad if we ran into someone namely the one responsible for whatever happened here." she states as she stayed in stride with Hatsuma. "I've got my eye on this side so yea." she states with a short smirk, while she was acting more calm now she was still very much so a spazz.

Vyrin-
(Int [50+50(Genius)](x2) + 545(C.C. Sniper) = 745
745 vs 300 = 94% Success, 74% and 54% for bonus.

God damn it... Just barely missed all three >__>

EDIT: I corrected the numbers above. I used the level of C.C. Sniper instead of using it's accuracy.

Vyrin's body blurred quietly through the small town, his bright red eyes scanning the area around him intently. The town was really beginning to give him the creeps. It was way to quiet, there wasn't even the awkward silence breaker of a shingle or something being shifted by a wild animal scurrying by. Just complete and total silence and it was accompanied by a heavy pressure that pressed hard against Vyrin's chest.

Shaking his head softly to himself as he came to a stop by a small house at a cross way, quickly pressing himself against the wall of the house to avoid being seen by anyone. He wasn't going to allow such a stupid thing as a bit of quietness to effect him and screw up his search. He was a far better shinobi then that and also had the utensils with him to make sure and avoid ever allowing that.

With a grin he pulled out one of two capsule scrolls, - what Sai didn't miss wouldn't hurt him right? - one of which he quickly opened to reveal a strange syringe and a vial of orange liquid. Squatting down, the boy carefully inserted the syringe into the vial and extracted a portion of the liquid, pressing down on the syringe's prong slightly to make sure it functioned. With a deep breath he brought the syringe to his neck and pushed it's long needle into his own vein, pushing the substance into his bloodstream quickly after.

Pulling out the instrument from his neck, quickly cleaning it with a set of peroxide that he carried, and returning it to it's scroll, Vyrin allowed the substance, otherwise known as Genius, to take effect over him as it ran it's course through his body.

Still with his grin spread widely across his lips, Vyrin rose back up to stand against the wall. His blood red eyes took another sweep of the area around him, this time the red orbs taking the time to truly devour what he was seeing as his mind ran at an alarming rate... The town was empty and seemingly void of life, as though everyone had just ran out of it but their was absolutely no disturbances anywhere. The boats were still tied to the docks and there was no other vehicles that were operational to take them either... However, some how... some way... information about what had happened here had gotten back to the main land, meaning somebody had to have escaped and their would have to be some sort of trail. If not it was all a set up and ploy to bring people to the island... Something that had to be successful, there was a large ferry at the docks that wasn't there originally when Vyrin and Sai had first arrived. Which meant there were other people here, possibly other shinobi that were after them or ordered here. If that was so he would need to locate them, access their abilities and avoid them until otherwise noted... or they proved to be a threat and needed instant removal.

Letting his grin fade away, Vyrin turned around and peered into the house that he was standing against. Through the window he spotted a desk chair left askew from it's table, a cup and plate of food left untouched on the table. A book laid nearby, opened and left on it's spine so not to close... There was definitely people in this village not that long ago... Frowning the boy turned away from the house and quickly darted to another one, keeping care to stick to the ones shrouded in the most shadows. Each one was like the last, something was abandoned in the middle of something and just forgotten.

It was definitely curious... Sighing lightly, the boy quickly gathered himself and approached the closest set of buildings that were positioned close to each other. Leaping towards the first he hopped onto the wall before kicking off to spiral to the next as he reached for higher ground, ending up finally with him on the roof of the building.

Crouching low quickly, Vyrin glanced in all directions to make sure that he wasn't spotted. Once assured that he was safe from any peering eyes, he retrieved the other capsule scroll and released it of it's contents. With a small smile, the boy held his father's long barreled sniper that he had swiped along with the Genius syringe and vial. Carrying the weapon close to his body he ran across the roof in a squatted run, his body leaping and hurtling itself from one ledge to the next before stopping abruptly as he landed on the roof of a grand church. With his eyebrow's tightly pulled together, the boy glared earnestly at the roof he stood on.

The tiles and shingles were cracked and destroyed... Tilting his head slightly to the side he rose his foot up slightly before slamming it down against the roof. Sighing lightly again, he crouched down to the tiles and pressed his fingers against them. His stomp had no effect yet the these tiles were utterly crushed... Something heavy had to have been placed here... the possibility that whatever it was, was several hundred pounds being a high likelihood at that as well... Maybe this was how the village escaped? Leaping from one roof to the next? But why wasn't the other rooftops ruined like this then? Though it could have been possible this was the rendezvous point. But with little children and elderly people... such a feat couldn't have been done so quietly and without traces.

It was definitely strange, but what he needed to do now was search for the other people that were in the town. Possibly he'd even pick up some more clues. Still keeping the sniper close to his body, the boy ran farther along the church roof. His slight form leaping from one arch to the next with a elegant and stealth like form before finally stopping and pressing himself against a tower that rose up from the church's body and was surrounded by various arches.

Keeping himself hidden within the shadows, the boy took a deep breath and preformed a few handle seals. He chanced bringing attention to himself by doing so and he knew it but it was necessary to do so. Swiftly the wind picked up around him and spun around his body as invisible whips as he dashed from one arch to the next and then back to the tower at the base. Each time he would bring the sniper to eye level and search out from it's scope for any others in the area, the weapon making detailed searches each time he did. There were foot prints in the ground, all of them ending in abrupt stops but none actually leading to a person... yet.

"To make this blunt. I see you as a waste of life, and a failure as a shinobi. You've failed your student, your reasons are pathetic and measly to say the least, and your experience is very, very questionable." Sai said simply as he watched Soba and listened to his annoying bitching. Gritting his teeth tightly, he reached down to grab the man by the scruff of his neck and yanked him close to his own body, the razor instantly being pressed against the man's temple. "Now... I think it's time I find out just how much of trash I've brought along with me. you have a few choices, shut up and watch or... Struggle, die, and die knowing Notwen will follow after you." Sai said softly as he pulled Soba away from the camp fire and into the dark distance.

Soon after a figure shrouded in a dark cloak limped towards Notwen's sleeping figure. In a slow and anguished manner, the figure reached down to the boy with a shadowed hand and gripped the front of his shirt. From behind the figure, the glint of a steel blade could easily be seen arched behind it.

The user may target a victim and use this puppets accuracy as one would any other jutsu/item attack. If successful it places a de-buff on a foe, while that de-buff is on this puppet has THAT enemies stats rather than your own and may use their Jutsu!
While copied the Puppet may not use your Jutsu, but may use the enemies Jutsu by spending 2 uses per jutsu used and you paying x2 the Chakra cost.
...Puppets are completely immune to Genjutsu or any other sort of mental assault.
...Puppets, unlike items, DO cost Chakra to sustain despite being an item, this represents the "Chakra threads" controlling them. However they cost nothing to activate.
...Puppets can not be loose bonuses to rolls or to set rolls from de-buffs (ie no minus accuracy, no minus in a stat, etc). Rather anything that effects the user in that manner in turn effects the puppets stats and rolls.
This represents a puppet not loosing accuracy from blindness as long as the user can still see, nor them loosing bonuses to strengths from poison unless the user is poisoned, etc.
...A Puppet user may remain stealthed while controlling Puppets. However sneak attacks are not continually possible if the puppet your attacking with is exposed (basically treat them as another player when it comes to whether or not sneak attack would apply to them specifically).
Noticing the Puppet master is the normal contested roll of Intelligence(x2) + + Jutsu Accuracy (if used) + Notice Buffs vs Agility(x2) + Jutsu accuracy (if used) + Stealth Buffs
...A user can control as many puppets as they wish to at one time. They only get one extra turn as you would with a summon or ally (this counts towards that limit). However extra puppets can "aid" another puppet with attack or defense, and in turn doing so gives a bonus equal to the total combined level of all active puppets being used/sustained.
So using 300 levels of puppets grants +300 accuracy as one buff to said puppet to any attack or defense roll that puppet is making. Doing this makes all puppets, both the main used and the ones aiding, loose 1 use so it is costly.
...Puppets can not use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu Jutsu nor any other ability that requires the expenditure of Chakra.
...Puppets do not suffer fatigue from Taijutsu techniques (rather they suffer from use loss normally as a balance).
...A user can not take attack actions of his own during combat, instead he gets his normal turn given to the puppet and can have one more puppet take a turn as well as one would have with a Summon or Ally Item.

Sorains boat arrived after a few hours on the sea. He was feeling back to his normal self though he was not sure that his ability had come fully back. He could feel the chakra coursing through his veins but he could not really feel it seeping out of his pours like it normally did. The moment he took his first step off the boat and his foot hit the dock he could already tell that he was feeling a little sea sick. But none the less he pressed on forward. He sighed to himself, this town was clearly empty but he knew that there had to be something on or else a message for help would never have been sent. Sorain strolled alone through out the town, he for the moment wondered rather or not he should have brought some Hunter Nins with him, or at least a Jounin or two but he was already here and he had no intention of calling back for help. "Where the ******** is sai?" He questioned out loud. His mental connection with Sai had not returned, he had a strong vibe that Sai was here or at least was aware of the situation in this town but he had no information further than that.

Sorain sighed one more time as he reached the heart of the time, "Time to get to work" he said out loud before bringing his hands up to his face and formulating hand signs, "Byakugan!"

edit: geez wiz I've been seen, big surprise there >.>

Sai: -__- What's the big problem? Your acting as though I'm god modding or being a bully or some s**t. I'm looking around to see if I see anyone... God, it's not like I'm going to pull a wolf crying

Zav: only being logical lol a foreign shinobi who is on the same mission as shinobi who are from sand (a place that you have a beef with their past leader with) if I were rpically in that position I'd take the chance to grill them for information at the very least XD;; just saying. :3

Not realizing that they were already spotted by something Hatsuma looked over to her teammates who both had opposing ideas on what they should do. "My thoughts go with Fuyu on this matter more area would be covored if we split up, not to mention if we do happen to run into whatever did this I doubt we stand any better a chance together then alone, splitting up will let the others continue on with the search regardless of what happens." Hatsuma explained rather monotonely. She had a cold feeling run down her spine as if they were being watched however she merely let it pass. She looked around for a moment before seeing a rather noticeable building. "we'll meet by the largest building over there, fuyu you may want to actually look at it so you can get an idea of where it is. we'll meet there in an hours time. in the event one of us doesn't arrive just continue on with the mission. it's important..." Hatsuma stated pulling two scrolls out handing one to oasis and then sending one fuyu's way as well. " that is the mission outline, it's encrypted so remember your studies on that matter... good luck." Hatsuma stated with a bow before turning and heading of in a direction to search for some clues.

"Whah-!!"Notwen felt the disturbance on his shirt from deep within the realms of slumber and snapped his eyes open to see a shadowy cloaked figure hunched over him in the darkness. He looked around for his item pouch and found it lying close by. Rummaging in the pack, Notwen counted his items, making sure they were all there. Turning back to his assailant, he noticed there was something off about the whole situation. Where were Soba and Sai? And why did the shrouded person not seem to breathe?
"SHARINGAN!" Again Notwen's hazel eyes became crimson red, the twin tomoe swirling into existence at once. With one look he could tell what it was about the assailant that was bothering him. The flow of chakra within the being's body seemed to be coming from an external source. A more focused look revealed fine strands of chakra that were connected to several points of the assailant's body and disappeared into the forest.
Notwen was now lifted a few inches off the ground by the puppet. He saw the gleam of fire from the camp bounce off a dangerously sharp blade.
Notwen clipped the pouch to his belt. He dipped a hand in it and produced a kunai, which he used to cut through the fabric that was held in the puppet's grasp. Moments later Notwen was free and he took that opportunity to put distance between himself and his opponent. He glimpsed down at the tattered hole that revealed his abdomen and groaned. That was my favorite shirt! Notwen returned his gaze to the puppet.

Thank you Play for doing those and for counting the lines. Also, to anyone, my intelligence score was pretty high. Assuming I roll below an 80, that means I get to notice all three things right?

Phaeton gave Aya a rather strange look. He was already trying to notice if there were things that would have been out of the ordinary, but he was allowing her a quick survey with her byakugan to see if there was anything she could perceive before he gave his own once over. After that then maybe they could pool their information and see what was going on here.

"GAH!" Phaeton was beginning to notice that the eerily quiet little town was becoming less eerily quiet based on a few chakra signatures that were coming from the sea. He looked to Aya, but his demeanor was changed. Phaeton was much more of a support and healer type ninja. He had very few offensive abilities, so he would be pretty bad if it came to that. However, he was hoping that the mysterious destruction of this place was simply attracting attention from other Villages and prompting inspection. This way it meant that neither side had to fight, and they could all go about their business without incident. Maybe they could share information, but he had to be prepared for the eventuality that these people meant business.

-_- fun...

Fuyu looked over to Oasis when she spoke towards him. She was un-assure about splitting up as of right now to try and find others in this small village. But his thoughts were that is was small enough that all one had to do was make a command and the others would hear it, expecially him with his enhanced hearing. Not super-human, but it was stronger then most because of him being blind. RIght away, he could hear Hatsuma making a responce to Oasis. She agreed with him about the splitting up for now. But she was so focused on the mission that she seemed to be tunnel visioned on it. It was un-clear if she truely was or not, but time would tell if she was. Added to her agreement was the location of a building which would be their meeting place would be in an hours time. He nodded and then gave this unsure look over at Hatsuma, he wasn't sure if she was trying to be funny or serious with that comment. Ether way, no offence would be taken. Once finished speaking, she handed out scrolls with the missions details on them. But with Fuyu already starting to move, she tossed it to him which he caught. "Hey, Oasis... if you don't feel comfortable about this, let one of us know ok? We'll stick with you if that will help ease your suspitions. I agree that the person who did this could still be here but it's a small village and we're pretty much in shouting distance." He stated over to Oasis while he pointed to his ears with a slight smile. With that he looked at the meeting building again and took of to the left once more, continuing his search for clues on what happened to this place.
