'Oh god...why does it have to be this way?' Screamed Kindle's tortured inner voice. Doing his best not to step away from her further, in case she assumed he was more upset with her than he was...neither could he move closer, not wanting to tempt this new, horrible demon inside him.
"No honey, it has nothing to do with you, you're perfect, and of course I want to stay with you." Meaning every word. "It's just..." he searches for a way out without hurting her feelings, "My stomach is being difficult again. You know how upset tummies can ruin even the most perfect day." And what a perfect day it had been...until he ruined it.
"So you'll be alright going home for a little while? You don't have to leave here, it is your special place too." Trying, but not wanting to leave her.

Flora looked up at Kindle concerned. "Do you have to use the potty?" She asked concern in her voice as she just sort of stood there looking at him; wanting to make sure he was alright cuase she knew how much a tummy ache could make you feel bad; no matter how pretty the flowers were around you.
"Cause if you just feel like you gotta throw up I can go and get my daddy... he knows lots of stuff about plants that can help you.... or; or; or um I can go get my mommy... She says she knows more about plants in the whole herd!" She exclaimed nodding her head and stepping up a bit closer to him; although rather apprehensively... She didn't want him to get sick on her or something.
"Do you know the prettiest female in the herd?? With pretty green fur and long red hair... and awesome plants growin' on her legs! that's my mommy!!!" She told him nodding proudly. "And I can go get her if you want me to!! She'll make you feel all better I promise!" She smiled up at him; certain in her mothers capabilities.

He was listening yes, but he was also slowly backing away."No honey, you don't need to get your daddy, i'll be fine after I go....lie down or something." Telling her this so she won't bring anyone else to witness his shame. It was hard for him to even look at her right now, with these feelings running through his veins. What he felt for her wasn't a dirty thing, but the shame that came hand and hand with that knowledge ...that was awful.
Looking up once again, away from the ground, he watched Flora talk. Just looked at her. Who was he to try and claim the attention of such a pure being? 'Wait, what did she say?' he snapped out of his inner musings. "Prettiest female...green fur and red...hair...?" If he felt sick before, now that feeling was quadrupled. Any color left in his face from before fled at that moment. "You...you're mom. She's...Poison Ivy?" The end of his question sounding strange as his voice cracked.
Now it was time to panic. Breathing heavily Kindle took another step away from Flora. "I really must go now dearling..." his eyes darting around the field, anywhere but on Flora. "Have a....good day." Turning and running, Kindle quickly escaped his once-hidden field. 'I can't go back there, not for a long time.' Was all he would allow himself to think. There was nothing he was allowed to have there anymore.
