"Do you sew?" The girl's head tilted to the side slightly, genuinely curious. She didn't say yes or no to the notion of being better than him because she had no right to. If he actually did sew, her mind already was swaying her into thinking he was probably much better than herself.
When Andrea thanked her, she somewhat bumbled over the words she needed to offer in return. "O-oh! It was no p-problem at all! It was the least I could do afterbumpingintoyou..." She could hear her heart beating in her head again, as it liked to do every so often when she got embarrassed. Her fingers brushed up against her temple and delicately tried to rub the sensation away.
Shyly, she added a slight confession in as well. "I... I actually like helping out when I can..."

"Oh, no, I don't sew at all," he admitted, shaking his head. "Someone else made the costume, she just figured I could at least do some of the shopping footwork, picking out these ribbons."
Andrea held both ribbon spools in one hand and gave her a thumbs up. "Thanks again for your help, though. Good luck making your present thing for your friend, and maybe I'll see you around sometime?"

The girl's cheeks warmed at the positive gesture. Certainly she hadn't been that much of a help. Yet soon enough, the boy was on his way, and soon enough she was as well. The coupon that had been in her hand frayed slightly along the edges from all that nervous attention she had given it earlier.
Her eyes thoughtfully fell upon the little scrap of paper. It will still be good, just a little worn along the edges she thought to herself as she once more took to wandering down the aisles.
However, this time she actually paid attention to where she was walking. No more accidents today.
