Miki was nearly out of breath, as she was just about finished with her last lap around the village. All she had to do was make it to her house with out stopping, and she would be done. Though if she stopped for any reason she would have to start over from the beginning, and run double the amount of laps next time.

Her house was coming into view, as she tried to quicken her pace. Her muscles were sore, and she was dying of thirst. She had already doubled the amount of laps she had to run once, and she wasn't in the mood for doing it again, atleast not quite yet. A familiar sound soon caught her attention though, as she glanced over her shoulder. The figure of a fairly large dog caught her attention, as it started to run towards her. A panicked look formed on her face, as she tried with all of her might to quicken her pace even more to out run the dog.

"Takuto no, bad dog!" She shouted, as it continued its pursuit and slowly began to gain on her. If she could just make it to her house, before Takuto caught up she would be safe. She was almost in reach, as she held her hand out towards the door. She thought she was going to make it when she was shoved towards the ground, as she found herself being tackled by her canine companion. She ended up kicking dust into the air. She rubbed her eyes with her right hand, as her left was still extended towards her house. She slowly lowered her hand to see if she had made it. A baffled expression formed on her face, as she found out she had just missed it by an inch. Her hand was just an inch away, and all thanks to her for not taking Takuto with when she ran her laps. A defeated expression formed on her face, as she layed on the ground for a couple moments with her hand reached out towards her house. Takuto just sat on the ground next to her with one of his 'you should have taken me with' looks, before trying to lick her face.

Miki felt herself slide forward, as her hand made contact with the door. She glanced over her shoulder to see a girl standing behind her, though she was standing infront of the sun forcing her to squint. She saw the outline of a hand reach out towards her, as she accepted her help up.

Once on her feet she was able to see the person who had helped her. It was a girl who she had seen around the village before, but she didn't really know who she was personally. An embarrsed look formed on her face, as she realized she must have seen her being tackled by Takuto. She then quickly began to dust off her clothes, as she smiled cheerfully at her. "Thanks, i'll keep that in mind." She responded, as she scratched the back of her head out of a nervous habit.

"Nice to meet you." She responded politely, as her attention was soon directed to Takuto. She couldn't help but begin to grin, as she watched Takuto laying on the ground while occasionally trying to lick Kaida's hand. It looked kind of akward seeing the dog turn his head around with his tongue sticking out ready to lick her hand, just as it got out of reach. She had to stifle a giggle, before kneeling down next to him and petting the top of his head.

She soon turned her attention back to Kaida when she invited her over to her house. She had never really been offered to come over to anyones house before, so she was kind of reluctant. Shrugging it off, she shook her head in agreement as she stood up. "Sure, why not." She said, as she smiled cheerfully at her.

Miki began to follow Kaida, as she motioned for Takuto to follow even though she knew he would come any ways.

"I hope you don't mind if Takuto comes. If I tried to make him stay him he would cause quite a mess." She said as an akward grin formed on her face.

Miki followed Kaida into her house with Takuto at her heels. She quickly slipped off her shoes, as she looked around. She had never actually had been inside there house before. She more or less dropped off Takuto with a few things, before heading off to the academy or on a trip to go train. She stopped when she arrived in the door way to the kitchen, as Takuto charged past her.

"I'll just have water please." She responded, as she gave Takuto a stern look when he tried to put his front paws up on the counter to see if there was any food up there.

Miki graciously took the glass, as she took a large drink from it. She then made her way over towards the table after Kaida, as she carefully sat down cross legged across from her. Takuto had to investigate as to what they were doing, and if they had any more food after he finished his dog treats from before. Miki just playfully pushed him away, before she answered Kaida's question.

"There ok, though my grades could be better." She said sounding embarrased as a disappointed look formed on her face. She did just fine when it came to anything dealing with taijutsu, but everything else she couldn't say the same for.

Kaida smiled alittle to herself crossing her legs in proper fashion as she took a sip of her tea and handed the dog another treat. "Don't worry about it too much. You are skilled in Taijutsu aren't you?" Kaida looked the girl over and nodded slightly. "You wouldn't train your body so hard if you weren't. Keep at it. That is all I can really tell you. That sort of thing really isn't my style. I love the feel of a weapon in my hand... or instead of wasting chakra on that... I can use explosives... Afterall my father and I specialize in exploding tags and such."

She took her sleeve on her left arm and pulled it up showing off unfinished markings on her arm. "A little home brewed ink from special plants around here and I can make things go boom real fast." She smirked alil and slid her sleeve back down. "But that isn't what I am really good at. I am trying to become at least a very basic medical nin. There are becoming more and more out there now but I need to be able to help in a group in any way possible and if I can heal someone even alil that is helpful." Kaida ran her fingers through her hair.

She glanced over to Miki. "Just... don't worry about it.. I was alil older when i first went to the academy... just keep trying and eventually you will be one of the strongest people in that place..." Kaida smiled warmly and took a drink of her tea knowing that the town was growing in the number of young nin and she was the oldest of them so far.
