Mwovu's ears flattened a touch at the tone that Spenta was producing. It was understandable, sure, though Mwovu himself hadn't had kids, and well, probably wouldn't care that much himself, anyway. This was certainly not the time to mention such trivial things as himself.
"Your brother being the bearer of bad news? I assume this is a recurring problem for you," he mentioned, trying not to purr. Mwovu was of the kind to stir the pot, as a human would put it.

Spen grunted in affirmation. "He is a danger to himself and those around him. I left her so that she could be safe; to remain with her could only mean death and destruction, as that is all Angra is capable of wreaking." He paused, a scowl tainting his features.
"He is my brother, he is a monster, but I cannot hate him. I can only love him and hope that he can change; I can only help him see that he is worthy of the good and pure in this world, and that the demons that taint him, once purged, will no longer cloud his judgment and he will be able to see all this." Spen fell silent, distraught.

Mwovu paused. This Angra seemed like quite an interesting character. The chocolate-coloured lion was a little amused at Spenta's description of him. Could someone be that terrible in reality, without the biased views of another? Perhaps, but he was too lazy to even want to find out.
"Can destruction change?" Mwovu mused, wondering aloud as he played with Spenta's words. "In some minds like yours, perhaps, but I've yet to come across a story where one such situation has happened. It sounds like you yourself are in more danger of his destructive capabilities than he is."
Hmm, perhaps he had talked to much. This was why he should only listen to stories, silly, foolish Mwovu.

Spenta fell silent, unwilling to continue the conversation further. He knew, deep down, his brother was incapable of change but it didn't make it any easier for Spen to believe willingly. It frightened Spen, really, that his brother was so terrible; could such evil run through his own veins?
Spenta feared it could.
"Perhaps," was all he said, rising to his feet and shaking off his coat.
"It was a pleasure to meet you, Mwovu. Perhaps one day we'll meet again."

Mwovu suppressed the urge to snicker. He himself had a more twisted heart, though it had more to do with emotions rather than anything physically. The fascinating concept with how a small twist of words could hurt so much. Even to someone such as himself, if played correctly.
"Perhaps," he replied quietly, though the edge of his mouth was twitching. "Fate deals a strange hand."
He turned to leave, feeling quite content. Another small story to hold in his mind.
